    Best vegan Sicilian Pizza
    Justine B.

Beyond thrilled with the vegan options at this location. We decided to order through Uber eats. We got the vegan Sicilian pie, vegan ravioli Parmesan, and vegan Stromboli. Everything was so good. We've traveled often and tried lots of vegan food, but this was definitely one of the best vegan Italian spots we've tasted. We couldn't believe the freshness, flavor, and homemade taste. Portions are great as well! Will be ordering again.

Been way over due for a review. There were some times in my life where I would order from here 2-3x a week. I know I know don't judge. The foods always good, they are usually always on point with everything. A bIt pricey but you really do get what you pay for. Very generous portions. The subs are huge, always fresh. Tonight I had chicken parm with penne it was delish. I've probably had everything on the menu twice, they are my go to.

    Traditional Pizza pie with mushroom

Tonight in honor of my partner's birthday, he wanted pizza from a place that we haven't been before around Market Street. With the assistance of Yelp, we decided on this place. Located in a strip mall, I have heard about this pizzeria from a friend who have eaten here many years ago. As there isn't any indoor or outdoor dining due to the coronavirus, I placed an order for pickup via Grub Hub which was fairly easy of a traditional pizza pie with mushroom and mozzarella sticks with extra sauce as an appetizer. We arranged to have this ready by 615pm. We arrived a bit early to the location but didn't go into the pizzeria until 620pm. When I entered the establishment, I was greeted by a staff and our order was ready at the counter. Arriving home, the pizza was still hot as well as the mozzarella sticks. The sticks weren't greasy and the accompanying sauce was okay. The pizza was just okay and didn't really have any wow factor. I had to add some of the marinara sauce from the sticks to spice it up. Unfortunately we won't be returning back to this place.

I had a tummy ache after eating a Sicilian slice. The decor and ambiance is nice. One of the guys working there seems like "the Attic is empty" type. When he answered the phone, he put the caller on hold and left the person hanging. At some point his co-worker said "you left the person on hold, man!" I noticed the douche bag looking at me with that I-hope-the-customer-didn't-hear-that look.

    Love this place!!!

Being a "local", I gotta disagree with the bad reviews! I love this place! I've ordered lunch and dinner, both delivery and eat-in and every time great food. My personal lunch fave is eggplant parm sandwich or pizza slices and the white pizza and Sicilian always delicious!! My dinner choices usually range from lasagna, a plain pie or a mix of pasta and pizza with garlic knots ...always hits the spot and no disappointments!

The food is decent, but the prices are crazy, way higher than most, Bruno's across the street is far more reasonable.

Finally tried GRUMPY'S Sourdough Pizza Co. and it absolutely lived up to the hype!…read more The restaurant was busy the entire time we were there -- we watched around 20 to 30 orders go out, which says a lot about how loved this place is. We tried everything from the artichoke and veggie pizzas to the garlic knots and fried Oreos, and every single item was delicious. What really stood out was how friendly and welcoming the owners and staff were. They took the time to explain the menu and made us feel right at home. Watching the sourdough being kneaded and seeing the pizzas made fresh in front of us was such a fun experience. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite. Highly recommend if you're looking for amazing sourdough pizza in New Jersey!

The crust had the perfect balance of chew and crispness, with a great flavor that sets it apart from your average pizza shop. Every slice held up well and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The wings were another highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries arrived hot and crispy, which is always appreciated when ordering delivery. What impressed me most was how quickly everything arrived. The food was fresh, well-packaged, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen. If you're looking for great pizza, quality wings, and reliable delivery, Grumpy's is definitely worth a visit. They literally mean "little oranges" from the fact that, after being fried, they resemble the shape and color of small oranges. Named after one of the owner's grandmothers in Italy, I decided on lunch at Francesca Pizza and Pasta, located on Market Street in Elmwood Park. Upon entering this small, clean, and informal eatery after my visit of 5 years, I was greeted by Salvatore, one of the owners. Their menu features rice balls, pizza, pasta, wraps, and sandwiches using original homemade family recipes except for the chicken nuggets and French fries. I decided on the Baby Spinach Arancino and Regular Arancino with the beef and cheese. When one bites into them, you're met with layers of flavor and texture. First comes the crispy outer layer, followed by a creamy risotto, and finally a center of melted cheese. Their homemade marinara sauce complemented the rice balls, which were deliciously tasty and the right serving portion. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. The price was comparable to the area. I can recommend this place.
