This small spot is in the corner of a strip mall and I've heard the lines can be long at peak hours but at 3pm on a Wednesday, it was a breeze and the friendly and smiling owner gladly took my order. I ordered a "Snacker" Fish & Chips for 7 bucks and change and it came out after perhaps a 5 minute wait after ordering and piping hot. HOLY MOLY; this place is LEGIT. My go-to spot for Fish 'n Chips in L.A. has always been Ye Olde King's Head in Santa Monica but this place is closer and truly delicious. For just over $7, you get a very large piece of fish and a huge helping of fries. The breading is delicious and perfectly crispy. The fish inside is delicate, flakey and moist. Your meal is served with ketchup and delicious tartar sauce but I'm a traditionalist and love dousing my F&C with Malt Vinegar which is on every table in the joint.
