This is a great place for breakfast sandwiches and thats what brought me in. The young man that took my order was extremely nice and patient. My eyes glazed over the donuts, it was fight between me and temptation, I stood my ground and ordered a breakfast turkey croissant with cheese. 3 stars for lack of basic customer service. My friend has been telling me about this donut bagel Café, and I finally got to try it today. I was told they have the best apple fitters. An yes they do! I enjoyed every bite. It was fresh and hot. They have so many donuts, bagels, and breakfast sandwiches to choose from, they have refreshments in a few other things on the menu to choose from. I will say there was a young girl working and just stood there looking at us no greeting, matter of fact, she didn't speak at all, just looked at us until we told her what we wanted. So the service wasn't friendly or welcoming, and the place is small inside, it has a few few tables inside, enough to sit and enjoy your visit on a solo trip. I may or may not be back because I don't eat apple fritters all the time but like I said it was a delicious treat. read more

The bagel was very fresh and tasted good. But the atmosphere, was one that would make you not come back. It felt like it was in a storage closet. I don't mind that it was small, it just felt dirty. The person that waited on me wasn't in a good mood and I felt like I was bothering him. Work on atmosphere and customer service and I think your donuts would be sold out before 1pm. That's when I was there and the donut area was full. The second star was for the fresh bagel. I won't be back. read more

I had an event in Calistoga and stayed in Santa Rosa for the night. This am me and my friend decided we wanted to get a bagel and coffee. We found this place on yelp and it was sooo good. I got the ham egg and cheese on a bagel and my friend got the bagel and cream cheese. The bagel was so fresh and was delicious! I also got a croissant and we each got a donut. The croissant was HUGE! I like to come by here from time to time to get a quick breakfast sando. I love bagel sandwiches and even though they are super simple, this place makes them so freaking delicious! The egg is fluffy, cheese is melted just right and the bagels, oh man the bagels are so good! I'm like the sesame bagels and the everything bagels. The owner is very friendly, Is very attentive when it comes to the customers. They also have donuts here. And while I'm not a huge donut fan, I have to say the sugar coated ones are very tasty and go well with a hot cup of cocoa (or coffee for those who drink it). read more

I can't believe I have never reviewed this longtime weekend stop! Easily my favorite donuts in Sonoma County! Their raised dough is beyond reproach. Perfect old fashioned. High quality glazes and fillings. A wide assortment of really good breakfast sandwiches too. There is often a line, but it moves quickly. Hot items take a little longer on busy mornings, but this small, dedicated team hustles hard to get their customers taken care of with the best quick breakfast in the area. read more

Just moved back to the area, decided to stop by my local donut shop. I'd been coming here for years before I moved. Customer service has always been good. For the most part I haven't had any bad experiences. They're fast, friendly, and good food. The donuts and sandwiches are yummy. I usually go for a BLT or sometimes #11. There are a few tables inside to sit and enjoy your goodies. However, unfortunately that side of town has had problems of homeless taking over the creek right around the corner causing more homeless ppl to hang out near the location but that's out of their control. So you might see a few on your way in. Needless to say, definitely would recommend the donut shop if you're looking to support our local community. read more

Delicious and reasonably priced. Grab a donut or my favorite, a bagel sandwich, and hit the road. There are only two small tables and it's usually crowded, so sitting doesn't usually happen. Takes a minute to get your food even if you are grabbing a premade donut because they are always busy, but I think that speaks to the quality of the food. My daughter always creates her own bagel because she doesn't like the menu options. I also recommend you Get there early because they sell out quick! read more

We stopped here for a quick breakfast on our road trip and quickly saw how popular this place can be close to 8 am. There seemed to be waves of folks. It's very economical, and the breakfast sandwiches were warm and a great value. We couldn't pick donuts so we got a bunch of donut holes and that was a great decision. While it can be busy, they are super efficient and you don't wait long at all. read more

This place hands down has the best donuts anywhere. Light, fluffy, divine yumminess. Not overly greasy or actually doesn't feel or taste greasy in any way. The place is light and bright, very clean. So MANY CHOICES. The croissants are gigantic and look light and delicious. I ordered a glazed twist to have later but after just one bite I was hooked. Aldo ordered a chocolate glazed cake donut with peanuts. Oh man. My favorite. So delicious. I would have liked a skosh more chocolate glaze but it was so perfectly divine it didn't matter. Do yourself a favor. Go here and get donuts. You'll be so happy you did. I haven't tried bagels here yet but imagine they're equally delish. Can hardly wait to go back. The best donuts of my whole life. Ohhh. The service was perfect. I have a wonderful experience here. I can't imagine anyone not loving these donuts. read more

These are some of the best donuts I've ever had. Light and super fluffy risen donuts with quality frosting. No lingering oily aftertaste like other places. Plus they have a lot of other tasty breakfast selections. The prices are also very reasonable. Don't waist your time! Showed up on a Sunday at 11:00 am, what should be a prime time for a business that serves breakfast donuts and sandwiches. There were a total of 10 donuts all of the same kind. The guy said it would be a 30 minute wait for any other donuts to get made. My husband and I decided to get a breakfast sandwich instead. I specifically 3 x's asked for the bacon to be extra crispy. Surprise, surprise, I get home and it's literally undercooked. Never wasting my time and money again in this place! read more

It feels like most bagel shops will sell the tiniest bagel for what they can get these days so we don't go out for morning bagels anymore. This donut place is one the best and affordable donut places in Santa Rosa. They have good service and tables if u wanna eat there too. Also they have clean restrooms too. It does get busy at times so be ready to wait. Also they sell A grade sandwiches if ur looking for something thats not sweet and drinks as well. Overall i'll give it a five out of five read more

Went to Donuts & Bagel Cafe for the first time today and these are the BEST donuts I have ever had!!! They used quality ingredients because the donuts were very light and fluffy! I could tell that they change their oil for cooking the donuts because there was no "old oil" aftertaste. I won't be buying donuts anywhere else! Reasonably priced too! Best donuts in Santa Rosa. I'm very picky about my donuts, as you'll see. While I love maple donuts, I don't think their maple is maple-y enough. Despite that, I still gave them 5 stars. I regularly go in and get one raised sugar donut and one raised glazed. The raised donuts are fresh and airy. The donuts here don't sit in a pool of glaze that has dripped down the middle like I see at other places. The "pool of glaze" I'm talking about happens a lot with raised maple -- I don't know if the frosting is put on when the donut is too warm, too cold, or if there's something wrong with the frosting itself, but I think it's gross. I went in one time and lucked out and got donuts that were still warm -- they were as close to a foodgasm as I've gotten in a long time. I've had the cake donuts, and they're good -- a solid 4 stars. But the raised donuts? Those are killer and are made the way donuts should be made. read more

To give credit where it's due, the Crimson Revelry cocktail was absolutely delicious, and the fries were very good. Sadly, neither could rescue the rest of the experience. Between the painfully slow service, the vanishing waitress, and the schnitzel that left me both disappointed and dehydrated, I can't see myself ever going back. Grossman's? More like "Gross, man."

It's one of the best little local gems Sebastopol has to offer. They've been around since 1979!! The only thing I will say is, it's a little inconsistent, sometimes my bagels have lots of cream cheese, which I love and then sometimes there's not enough cream cheese... I am sure it depends on who is making it. With that said, I'm still never disappointed and they still get 5 stars in my book! Everything I get from here is delicious. Get there early because all the good cheesy bagels are always gone in the afternoon. They also have decent Boba milk teas and Vietnamese coffee, which I was surprised to find out! Yum! I will never stop coming here. Grateful bagel holds a special place in my heart. I will always support this business.

If I could go here everyday I would!....this place has my favorite bagels ever,giant and fluffy croissants, yummy donuts and so much more! not to mention the prices which are way cheap! bagel and cream cheese is only $1.40! you could buy 2 here for the same price as 1 at most bagel shops, and there so good! chewy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, with tons of flavor! real nice owner and she opens at 4 or 5AM and closes sometime after 9PM and is located in that crazy busy shopping center on stony point and sebastopol rd. oh and they have alot of breakfast and lunch sandwiches too! read more

awesome find! great bagels, donuts and pastries. croisants are huge. sandwiches also made. opens early, closes sometime after 8 P.M. so it's good for dessert too!, great addition to the busy center at stonypoint and sebastopol rd...walked out with more then i should for under 10 bucks (including a dozen donuts) :) love the owner! and the place is sparkling clean..definitly a plus for a donut shop. lol read more

Ken makes super good donuts. This guy has been baking donuts since he was a teenager. That's 20 years ago. He's like the master chef of donuts. They look good and they taste what Donuts should taste like. I eat one donut a day 5 times a week. 1 different donut each time. irresistible. read more
