Came here after a dental Cleaning spot. W/Dr.Dustin Rabine. My go to order was a half a dozen donuts.(Top right to left in photo) Strawberry brownie chocolate,Cookie Monster,cannoli chocolate chip w/ cannoli filling,oatmeal cookie,all chocolate glazed, & glazed donut. My family cut all of them into 4 so we can try more flavors. To me the best one was the cannoli donut. The oatmeal one wasn't good to me. I also ordered a bacon,egg,& cheese on a roll. It was ok. There was not enough bacon & it was out in the middle. I had to spread it out. This is not the 1st time eating food from donut crazy. The cold brew Nitro coffee is delicious and refreshing. The donuts are at another level. I had a French toast donut that was the best donut I've ever had. The staff was friendly and quickly put my order together. The interior has a cool sign suggesting "Let's eat donuts!" I concur wholeheartedly! Extremely slow service sandwiches take minimum 20-30 minutes whether inside or drive thru and use the minimum amount of meat your basically ordering a bun with half a portion of meat and don't bother ordering any drink my matcha was more like melted ice water with a hint of faded green and tasted horrible like they didn't even add matcha like they skimp on the main ingredients to save money will not be returning read more

This was exactly what the doctor order. I have been crazing donuts like Homer Simpson for the last 3-4 months. Ended up here and was pleasantly surprised. The birthday cake donut was everything. Felt like it was my special day after that one. I also tried the Cannoli Donut which has all the characteristics of the Italian dessert but uses the donut as its vehicle. This was part of a small strip mall and contained a drive-thru. The selection of donuts was overwhelming. There was a lot to choose from. They also had other breakfast options available too. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered 6 donuts ($3.25 for crazy and $1.95 for a daily one). One of the crazy donuts was discounted off since the half dozen deal was given. Glazed Jelly - This was easily the best donut of the day. It was filled with black raspberry jelly and dipped in glaze. It was packed with thick jelly and it was delicious. The glaze was a nice added touch too. Dunk - a - roos - I was most excited to try this one, but it was the most disappointing. It was a vanilla cake donut with vanilla frosting in crushed graham crackers with buttercream, rainbow nonpareils, and teddy grahams. It was extremely dense and I was not a fan of the buttercream. The teddy grahams were also a little stale. Monster Red Velvet - This was recommended to me by the lady taking my order after I asked for her favorite. I am usually not a fan of red velvet, but this donut had so much going on it was not of concern. It was glazed red velvet with brownie batter, chocolate chip cookie dough, mini M&Ms, nonpareils, fluff, and topped with a house-made bruleed marshmallow. There were lots of flavors here, but I did enjoy it. All of the toppings went well with one another. Kookie Monster - The donut was a glazed raised ring with blue frosting dipped in chips ahoy cookies and drizzled with more blue frosting. This was solid with the cookie crunch. Will I go back? Quick and accessible detour off of 15 for some super yummy donuts. The staff were all very nice and the donuts are delicious. We got a Boston cream and a jelly donut. For anyone who cares, the ratio fillings were spot on. The breakfast sandwiches require a bit of a wait and the drive thru orders appear to get priority as we were waiting for at least 10 minutes. If you order one at the drive thru they give you a number to put in your windshield and tell you to park out front. Once ready they bring it to your car. Cute decor and set up on the inside. The donuts are stuffed with all kinds of goodness. We ordered the Sugar Cookie, Bear and one other one. I tired the Sugar cookie and one other one. A very sweet and novel concept and yet oh so yummy. The donuts were easily a 2-3 portion for me but we split them all. This portion of the order we took to go. While there I ordered not one but two of the nitro coffees, black and iced- wholly caffeine batman- so good. For food we got the jalapeno cheddar bacon wrap; some of the creamiest cheddar cheeses that I have ever had pass the plane of my lips. What a hidden gem right in my own town! Several neighbors of mine recommended me to stop by and check out this place- and oh boy was I happy! They have various selections of handcrafted donuts and other delectables which I gladly purchased as well- haha! But let me tell you about the Sugar Peach Donut... By far this is my favorite seasonal donut they have! I wish it was year round but me and my waist completely understand. I have been frequenting this shop for about 2 years and have never been dissapointed. All of the items are crafted with thought and care. I love the Maple Bacon donut. One would think such a combination would lead to a disaster but the bacon is delectably sweet without being overpowering and is well matched with the Maple icing. The crispiness of the bacon and the smooth silky texture of the donut make a great breakfast or after dinner dessert. Usually banana items taste artificial or a bit like stale banana. The banana cream donut was light and airy with a fresh banana taste throughout. The only thing that would have made it better is a drizzle of milk chocolate on top, otherwise a definite must try for originality and capturing the essence of the fruit. read more

Oh how fun this is in Shelton! They did such a great job with the decor and set up. You feel as if you are in NYC. They had an ample selection of doughnuts and quantity available unlike other reviews. How fun picking out 24 doughnuts from a great selection to give as a gift to the wonderful helpers of an infirmed family member. I ate the birthday cake doughnut in my car and was pleased. I love Donut Crazy for their excellent selection, from their elaborate sugar laden specailty donuts to their more traditional flavors like Boston Cream Pie and Jelly filled. They also have a perfect ratio of cake donuts to raised donuts available. There are so many options that it was pretty difficult for us to choose only six! Out of our half dozen, the standouts were the Black Hawk and Pumpkin Pop-Tart. I was surprised by how flavorful the pumpkin cake donut was-perfectly spiced and actually much better than a pumpkin donut I recently had from a local orchard! We've been here a handful of times. Donuts are good, some of the speciality ones are dry and just impossible to eat. My poor rating is due to the lack of professionalism. It's uncalled for and I will legitimately never return to or recommend this place to anyone. I stopped in two weeks back to buy an assortment of donuts for my kids and decided to get a coffee as well. The middle aged woman with glasses who "helped me" was SO rude. I honestly think she was the manager but she made me extremely uncomfortable. One half of the chalk board menu says hot coffee and then the other said cold beverages or something of the like. The sign did not state they can make iced coffee or lattes so I simply asked and boy was that the wrong thing to do. After the adult woman looked at me with disgust and said "yeah" like a teenager would, I asked if they had flavors like vanilla or caramel. Once again she gave me a one word answer of "yeah" and this time I got a nice eye roll! While she made my coffee in misery, I did have a better experience with the young man who packaged my donuts. I came in for a dozen but when I said I wanted to order some donuts, he just grabbed a box and once I got to 6 he decided I was done? That was weird, I would have purchased more but I'm glad I didn't after this experience. He rang me out, I informed him I also ordered a drink. All he asked me was what size. When the lady making my drink came over to the register, she didn't acknowledge me. Instead she spoke to the cashier and said "did she tell you she got a drink." And the followed up with "did she tell you she added a flavor shot". When the cashier said no, he was on the receiving end of the snarky comment from the coffee lady. It was awesome to stand there and hear the two of them speak about me as if I wasn't there (insert sarcasm) so I asked what I owed for the flavor in my coffee. A whopping 25 cents. Being a normal person, I took out money to pay my debt. The male cashier told me it was fine and I didn't have to pay. His rude associate (manager?) walked away. I told him how uncomfortable the entire ordering experience was for me. I'm there to spend money and it appeared I was bothering them. So disappointed with the quality of Donut Crazy now. Went there this morning and it took 15 minutes to get one donut....There was one couple in line in front of me. But the most disappointing is that they changed the cannoli donut. They used to slice the donut and fill it with cannoli filling. Now they just throw a dollop of cannoli filling on the top of the donut. This used to be my favorite donut, but now it's not even appealing or appetizing.
