Donut Depot is so good! The selection was amazing--tons of variety to choose from--and every donut was incredibly fresh. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into making them. Whether you're a classic glazed fan or into more unique flavors, there's something for everyone. Definitely one of the best donut spots around! The team was friendly and so helpful from the moment I walked in the door, the interior is quaint and nice for a small donut shop.

Seems like a popular donut place. Would come back to eat the tiger tail donut. The ambiance is very casual and the service is quick. They have lots of variety, which is great for those desiring a wide selection.

These donut holes are also incredible. I was getting these every day, but I may just switch to this croissant doughnut.

I've been working a job close to this little donut shop here in Thousand Oaks and every day I would get the raspberry filled and cream filled doughnut holes, which were incredible. I was telling the service worker today how much I loved them and he said you gotta try this croissant type thing. It is across between a croissant and a donut hole and I will tell you this it is freaking amazing. It was soft, kind of sweet and had a great texture. Without a doubt, I will be getting more of these along with a few more donut holes. But if you got a craving for something new and something creatively, incredible, try this croissant doughnut... This is a wonderful Donut shop. The customer service is great. We've come multiple times and I'm always impressed by the service. For example, while dining in today I twice heard the man behind the counter say "I don't have that, but I can make it for you." That usually doesn't happen at other places, usually you get someone who shrugs and leaves you disappointed. Beyond the service the donuts are great. There is a wide variety and during the holidays there are always specialty donuts. Worth a visit!

YESSSSS!!! CRONUTS found HERE!!! Enjoying these delightful morsels when the cravings hit and you live in Ventura County like I do, means enduring the trek into L.A. County since Rolling Pin in Camarillo decided not to continue making them anymore! (Why?!? They made them really well! Too bad.) However, during fellowship after worship at my church, they had some cronuts in the mix! Wh-WHAT?!? Where did u get those, pray tell?!? Donut Depot, of course! Quick yelp search... Boom! It's in Thousand Oaks!!! Well, at least it's closer than Los Angeles ;P Found just east of The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in the "Select Plaza" strip mall, along Thousand Oaks Blvd. They serve cronuts DAILY. There's also sandwiches & boba drinks, too. *CRONUT ($2.50): They regularly have options of plain, glazed, and cinnamon. You can also have them filled with fruit or custard for $1 extra each. Tasty stuff, reminiscent of the O.G. stuff from NYC. Certainly, quality is enough to satisfy the cravings, and forego that quest into L.A. ;) * FRENCH CRULLER ($1.50): One of my faves, but not always made the right way. Sometimes too soggy, too stale, or too sweet. NOT HERE! Made JUST RIGHT by the donut masters here. I won't ever pass these up when I'm here :) *SPECIALTY BAR: Got one cuz it looked too yummy to pass up, HAH! Yup, that Strawberry one was calling my name! The vanilla cream is light, tasty, with no after taste. Strawberries are fresh and not overly ripe. Evil creation here, heh heh! Solid donut shop! Customer service is friendly over the phone AND in person! Right now, this is THE ONLY OPTION for cronuts in Ventura County. Just so YA know ;)

Drove all the way from Burbank just to check out Carrara's Pastry Shop in Agoura Hills--and wow,…read morethey absolutely did not disappoint. It's a small, charming café with a cozy atmosphere, featuring old-school car collectibles displayed on a shelf that add a unique touch. They also offer outdoor seating where you can enjoy your desserts surrounded by lush greenery, natural foliage, and a peaceful little waterfall pond. The service was great as well, they were friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. suggested I definitely I ended up picking up a chocolate and hazelnut cake with an incredibly soft, spongy interior that was perfectly balanced and rich without being overwhelming. I also grabbed a single serving of the blueberry cheesecake, which was light, airy, and still decadently satisfying--definitely worth every spoonful. The rum babas were a standout: bite-sized, soaked in Jamaican rum, filled with Chantilly cream, and topped with a raspberry. So flavorful and unique--each bite was indulgent without being too heavy. And then there was the Velina cake... oh my goodness. A beautiful sponge layered with chocolate mousse and hazelnut mousse, all covered in a glossy dark chocolate glaze. It was so rich and decadent that I had to slow myself down just to fully enjoy every bite. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and worth the drive. I'd absolutely come back again.

We were greeted right away, and we let one of the people working there know we wanted to take a look around as it was our first time stopping in, which was okay. The shop itself was empty. We took a look at the ice cream selection, the full cakes, and then the pastries. Everything looked really good. We decided on a chocolate trilogia pastry and a red velvet pastry to go. The transaction went well. When we got home, we ate the goodies. The trilogia was fresh and had great flavor. The red velvet, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. The cake part was dry, and the frosting was dense and had little flavor. Maybe I just ended up getting an older one, but at $8.25, I had expected a much better item. The service was great, but as a red velvet lover, the flavor was not as expected. I would potentially try again but would sample some other treats.
