Enough has been written in regards to how great this place is, so I'll approach this review from a socioeconomic perspective. This place is the working man's / mother's go-to. Whenever I go there, there are working dudes grabbing some sandwiches and mothers getting donuts for their kids and themselves. Being that the food is good and prices are reasonable, (especially in this era of high inflation) this establishment is always busy... but it's worth the wait. I was craving a good Vietnamese iced coffee, so I decided to stop by Donut Express, and I'm glad I did. Their Vietnamese iced coffee is the perfect blend of bold coffee and sweetness. It gives a great caffeine boost, keeps me going, and is honestly just enjoyable to drink. The shop has a simple, casual vibe and it was nice and quiet when I went because of the time of day. I've passed by before during the early morning hours though, and it can get pretty busy, which says a lot about the place. Parking is convenient, and it's easy to get in and out. Service was prompt, and my drink was made pretty quickly after ordering. I also love that they seal the cup with the vacuum-style top so you can pop the straw through. It really helps prevent spills when you're on the go. This is officially my favorite spot for Vietnamese iced coffee, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend checking them out! read more

This place rocks. Used to be across the street and that physical location closed but here they are, busy as ever in a strip mall just adjacent to Arby's and next to a liquor store. This place is legit- from the old-timers having coffee together in the morning to the line of workers grabbing breakfast before reporting to job site. The employees are courteous and kind, efficient and donuts are, most-importantly, so so good! I didn't even eat cake donuts before here. These orange ones changed me forever. The oil they cook in doesn't taste old or yucky. This is always my turnoff for some donut places. I always get a dozen and my coworkers all agree that this place is fabulous. read more

Stopped by here on the way up the freeway for a snack. Cute little mom and pop shop. Looks like they renovated the place cause it looks brand new! Super clean. Had their maple donut and their twist glaze. Both were PHENOMENAL. They do the soft and fluffy donut realllllllly well here. Their chai tea with boba was also very refreshing. Would definitely return here and try more of their donut selection! Parking is easy as they have a lot right in front. Also places to sit and eat inside. The donut were pretty good and we ate almost all of the ones we bought. The service was a little bit slow though. Otherwise, it was really nice. I would recommend this place if you like donuts and are in La Habra. So, we went in there and ordered a lemon donut, two pumpkin donuts, and an old fashioned donut, I think. It took about fifteen minutes to get our donuts after we ordered. The area nearby is nice and it's pretty well-maintained. Yeah, that's all I have to say. I really do recommend going here. read more

Found this place by accident and was pleasantly surprised. First time here and ordered a ham/cheese/egg croissant with jalapeños and it did not disappoint! We also tried one of their donuts and they tasted great. Lastly, I got the iced coffee and this was delicious as well. 5-stars for this place. Great little hole in the wall.
