I ordered Mike's Famous Philly for my husband and I to share. Let me start off by saying that the giant sandwiches here are massive!! Flavor wise, it's a solid sandwich that definitely hits the spot and I love that it is a warm sandwich. With that being said, $20 for any sandwich is steep which is why I'm knocking it a star. The store itself is no frills, but it is clean and the employees are friendly. There are seats to eat inside at, but most people took their food to go, myself included. While making small talk I asked her if she was working hard and she informed me that she was the manager and she had to work hard to set an example do to being the manger so I shared a story with her letting her know that a quality of a good manager is to show the ones you manage a good work ethic and being in the food industry a positive and polite demeanor. They provide all the extra condiments and have the Mike's Way oil/vinegar on the side. Everything is packaged beautifully and ready to eat so it makes my life easier when feeding 70 people. Additionally, a regular TUNA both sandwiches on gluten-free bread got home no mustard no mayonnaise like three slices of turkey paper thin the TUNA was spread like a thin layer I called and spoke to the "assistant manager Areanne" She argued that she "made the sandwich herself and that wasn't the case." Me :"I'm explaining to you with the sand- which right in front of my face you are the individual that is on your phone and not paying attention to customers or your job. You gave your Word.Areanne, She also said that she would replace the sandwiches and remake them correctly. She just had to check with the general manager as were waiting and waiting it is now 9:15 PM. She did not call back nor are they answering the phone. I've called since 8:55 PM. The staff are always so pleasant and up beat. Thank you! The store is clean and smells so welcoming of fresh cooked meats and bread! The bread tasted stale and not enough dressing (mayo, oil) I side, tasted very dry so when I open the sandwich to add mayo, there was no mayo. Looks like they were in a hurry, both recent times. Big shout out to the crew working today. Around 2 pm I went in for a sandwich, there was a line with people ordering multiple sandwiches (apparently they don't know they can order ahead). Fortunately, the crew there today was on it! The young man cutting the meats had the best attitude and was proactive in taking orders as he was cutting meats, he was lining up the next customer. A total machine he was!! The rest of the crew was also very helpful and had a great attitude towards the job which in today's day and age is a breath of fresh air. This place has great options for sandwiches. I usually get their Italian Sandwich which is your basic sandwich, when I'm feeling a cold sandwich. Their Chipotle Cheese Steak is amazing, 10/10, so good. If you like cheese stake sandwiches you would love this one. This location was able to execute our in-app order flawlessly! We will be back. It was almost as excellent in flavor as the Orange location but the lettuce and bread were not quite as fresh. I was really happy to see the app now takes Ibotta Giftcards which were previously accepted in store only. This enabled me to get 5% back on my order. It's achieved by first filling out your order in the app to find out the total, then paying through Ibotta pay which debits your bank account and generates a gift card code which you use to pay via the Jersey Mike's app. Accordingly, I was able to pay hands free during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
