If there's a payment issue, address it immediately -- don't wait until the next day without clear proof. As a customer I've also been shorted change multiple times when paying cash at this location (quarters). I walked into this place craving a doughnut, and I left this place. Almost throwing up. It's so disgusting. It smells like bleach and dirty water, it doesn't even smell like donuts. There were barely any donuts in the casing and it didn't smell anything of donuts which makes us believe the little donuts they had were sitting overnight. As we were going to order, the girl was scrubbing the floor with bleach and water right next to a counter full once croissants that were sitting in the open uncovered. With racks of fresh doughnuts, a variety of croissants, and other pastries, this monarch offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner fit for royalty served by a Donut Princess behind the counter. We got a half dozen assorted donuts for dessert. My favorite was a Vanilla Cream-filled Glazed Doughnut covered with Chocolate. We also got 1 regular and 1 chocolate croissant to save for the morning. They were ok. Besides the baked breads, this Donut King also sells Juice Smoothies and Sandwiches. Near the entrance is a huge water filtration system with spouts for people to purchase water by the gallon. That section was busy when were there. Donut King may not be the emperor of Donuts in L.A., but there's no reason not to be a regular if you live or drive close by. read more

If you don't want donuts (why oh why would this be the case?), then sandwiches, fresh juices, breakfast burritos, and muffins are offered. --- TIP: Go 24x7 It's not the cleanest or far from the nicest, and it's certainly not a Krispy Kreme, but it's darn good.
