There's a very unhappy young person who works there that's extremely rude. Every time she's awful and I've had it. One time I asked for theses cream filled donuts and she said come back after 11. It was 8am! Another time she threw change in my hand and I almost didn't catch it all. I have no idea who this girl is or what's her deal. My heart sank when she came around the corner last week. I didn't want her to serve me but I didn't let it show. I picked a donut in the case and asked if the one in the back had cream or was it jelly filled. She said she could add the cream. I asked if it was empty. She said I'll add the cream if you want. So I said okay reluctantly because it was a weird vibe with her. As usual. She took them both to the back the first one she had placed in a bag. The other one was in her hand. I thought just set the bagged one at the register. Why take them both to the back but? Whatever. Then I heard a slam on the counter and I thought dang did she slam both of the donuts on the counter back there or what!? Surely not. The other worker looked at me through the window as she was standing right there working. What ever the girl was doing made the worker laugh and she looked at me again. So of course, I just walked out. What ever she was doing to those poor donuts was not cool. Horrible girl! It's sad that the other woman would stand for such awful behavior and laugh as well. I pray for her because she obviously has a hateful heart for no reason and needs to grow up. She's just awful. This is every time I've encounter her. The Kim's wouldn't allow this attitude and disrespect of their customers and donut business. I've been going there since they first opened. Mr. Kim was always so kind which made the donuts so much better because you knew they were made with love. Sadly, I wont go back for awhile after this last incident. The donut holes... what can I say besides perfect every single time. Soft, sweet little bites of happiness. And the chocolate glaze? Pretty bad...Apple fritters were literally flat like a cookie. Bacon egg and cheese croissant had two thin paper like sheets of egg that didn't even cover croissant. Bacon was chewy and raw. Went back to see if could get a real fried egg and got sassed by two girls from window and counter smirked "it is real egg". Then they wanted to charge me to use a card and when asked what the charge was...no one knew what the cost was. Pretty pathetic for customers that are supporting you. Won't be back. read more

The Kim's retired and the son is not very enthusiastic about donuts. Usually no fresh glazed even in mornings. Things are not fresh like they used to be. Very sad as Mr. & Mrs. Kim worked so hard to build this business and now it's gone far downhill. read more

Asked if they could make some plain glazed as I was willing to wait, 10 minutes later the cashier came out and said they decided not to make them. Everytime I go in there, on the weekends, at 8 or 8:30 or even 10 there is literally never any doughnuts, plain glazed or maybe there is 3 chocolate left, as the only doughnut place in town maybe think about making more of the 2 things that are essential on the menu. I thought I got a normal glazed old fashioned but it was even better. I tasted a hint of cinnamon in the glaze on top of the donut. Excellent donuts. The donut holes are great too. When I asked for a cream filled donut, they made one on the spot for us. They have a drive through too! We live in Marble Falls but will come back to get donuts from this establishment. read more

I took my son for doughnuts one Saturday after dropping a sibling off for a band event at the Highschool and I was not disappointed. The regular glazed doughnuts were a little too sweet but very soft and yummy. The Apple braid was old and kind of gross. Not all good but not all bad. I'd try the place again. read more

Went through at about 8:30 this morning. Feb. 27th. The woman at the drive through window has an absolutely horrible attitude. We came through to purchase four dozen donuts. (Each dozen had a different destination) so when she gave all four dozen in two boxes, we asked if we could get four boxes instead. She glared at us as if we were speaking a foreign language, rolled her eyes, and scoffed "could you say something next time". We were taken off guard by her horrible customer service, and told her if she wanted to just give us an empty box we could handle it ourselves. She, again, scoffed and snatched the box from us and then thrust two separate boxes through the window. I've been to this location endless times, but never EVER had a bad experience until this appalling incident. read more

The sweetest family runs this place. They work open to close every day and their effort shows. They have a large variety of donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches. It's a small place where the two highways meet in the middle of town. You can get there from hwy 281 and hwy 183. It has limited setting but a quick drive thru. You won't be disappointed. read more

They're open on holidays, which is convenient. My husband likes their donuts. I usually get a sausage wrap. I guess I've been spoiled. My old donut shop, Daylite, offered Elgin sausage in their wraps. The wraps here had such fatty contents they could have been using Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage. Yuck. Honestly as far as donuts go this place is on the level of not higher than the quality you'd get at any other family owned donut shop. Of course they aren't always exactly the same size or level of fryed(ness), they are handmade. The pigs in the blanket are great! Really anything you get is tasty. My favorite thing to get is the spinach and feta pastry! The owners are amazing people, and the cashiers are super friendly and accommodating. Sure if you go in at peak times they might have just run out of something (obviously ) but they always are happy to fry up some more for you, if you're willing to wait 2-5 minutes. And for hot donuts you'd be stupid to not wait. read more

Ordered donuts at 9AM on a Saturday, was told there were no chocolate or glazed donuts available. This being the Donut Palace, I did not expect such a situation. So I ordered 2 breakfast tacos, the staple of Texas breakfast, and a few minutes later received two breakfast tacos that were warm on the ends and completely frozen in the middle. Not just frozen inside, but the entire middle of the tacos was cold and hard. I wish they had just told me they were out of tacos too. It's rare that a place makes me regret skipping McDonald's.
