This is my first time here meeting clients and just sat down maybe 3 minutes and one of the bakery staff come over and says hello have you read the sign I look at her and say no. I thought it was a menu and didn't pay attention to it. She says to me seats are for paying customers. I say to her well I just sat down here she was rude. So I said I will be a paying customer I just sat down? She's then proceeds to say well don't think your better then me! I couldn't believe her rude comment! Why would anyone put up with that! Not me! I will never come to this establishment again! Staff should never talk to customers like that!

Absolutely amazing spot for donuts! I was especially impressed by the unique variety of fritters, something you don't often see elsewhere. The flavors were spot on, and the jalapeño fritter was my personal favorite. There's even a retro jukebox inside, which adds a fun, nostalgic touch. Not sure if it's working since I didn't have any coins, but I loved the old-school vibe. Also, great news, they're now open 24/7 with newly posted hours! Gluten free donuts available no vegan yet, maybe in future?!

I read some really amazing reviews about this donut shop. I went pretty early in the morning. However there was a lot of homeless in the area. The staff was welcoming and helpful with my selections. I got the chocolate donut with coffee frosting. Presentation was great. I did like the frosting. The donut was a little dense tho. The apple fritter was the most talked about on the reviews. I felt like it was over cooked. Also the oil they used tasted old.

I usually swing by this donut shop for a maple bar and a chocolate bar (or sometimes a chocolate donut with sprinkles, depends on the mood), and they always hit the spot. Recently tried their blueberry cake donut, and it was surprisingly good, moist, flavorful, and not too sweet. They're open 24 hours, which is a huge plus when those trendy dessert places are closed and you're craving something sweet. The variety is solid too. Check out the mixed dozen I grabbed in the photo. Whether you're into classics or want to mix it up, they've got something for everyone. One of my go-to places when the sweet tooth kicks in after hours. Definitely worth checking out!

Donut Parade is a part of Spokane history , and for good reason. Everyone here is super friendly, which is pretty awesome, especially in the morning when folks can be cranky. The decor is clean, fresh, and laid back, with not a bad seat in the place. But this is about donuts, my friends. So many great choices! They have all the standards, but also some crazy specials, like the pineapple jalapeno fritter. It sounds weird but holy smokes is it good! Homer Simpson would approve. Join the parade!

We try to come to donut parade anytime we come visit Spokane, day or night, doesn't matter when because they are open 24 hours a day. The people are so nice every time we come even when they've working with the hot ovens in the hot summer heat all day. They have such a good variety of classic and specialty options. The donuts are super soft and have a definite heft to them. The other great thing is that unlike most donut places, everything is still fresh and you don't feel like you are SOL if you didn't get there super early in the morning. You can tell when you missed the window and are getting just whatever is left at other places but here, the case always have tasty options to chose from. There has only been one time we had to wait in a little bit of a line and that was on a Saturday morning but usually it's right in and right out. We usually take ours to go but there is a good amount of space to sit and enjoy as well with some coffee or other cold beverages they sell.

Pricey but well worth it. The best donuts I've ever had, got 2 dozen for bosses birthday & work crew they were a hit. Service was great the gals were very helpful. Standard donut shop vibe, regulars coming in known by name that's cool. Terrible for my diet but I'll be in for another bacon maple here pretty soon!

The inside was clean and had lots of room to sit and eat. The staff was friendly but seemed a little annoyed when we didn't know the protocol of telling them how many we wanted before we ordered. Which was fine but we have never been so we didn't know. Some of the doughnuts seemed under cooked but good flavor. They had some pretty unique doughnuts with good flavor.

This is the first time we have been here. The building is old so there is no AC and was really warm inside. We chose an Apple Fritter as let's be honest, they are the best donut option. My husband and I split one and it was a good size. The favors were good and we LOVED the big chunks of apply speckled through it. The only problem we had was the doughnut was still really doughy and needed to cook for a couple more minutes. Overal, we'll go back and give it another try. It's fun to have a doughnut place thats open 24 hours.

I am so happy that The Donut Parade has reopened. The place looks so much better now, its bright and clean and just looks like it has a new lease on life. I pre-ordered a dozen of the maple bars, and it was so quick to list run in pick up my order, pay and out the door. The maple bars are fantastic, they are so light and fluffy, you seriously would not have a problem eating them all. What I loved about them, they were not greasy at all, not heavy and you didn't feel like you had a gut bomb in your stomach, and your fingers were not al greasy from the oil I highly recommend them, and all my coworkers loved them as well! read more

So happy Donut Parade has reopened! I have gone twice. The first time I had an apple fritter and a maple bar. The apple fritter was crunchy with tart apples. It was perfect...not burnt tasting or doughy. The maple bar didn't have any maple in the glaze, but was still good. The second time I picked up two dozen to bring to work. I couldn't believe no one was there at 7:30 in the morning! I hope business picks up. Anyway, this time the maple was on the bars and they were great. I think the doughnuts were slightly better before...maybe all the grime added something extra? But these are still so much better than places with fancy doughnuts with cereal and crap on a terrible tasting doughnut. Right up there with Donuts to Go and Mike's! read more

The donuts are delicious, and the beating heart of the Donut Parade is to serve and feed the Logan neighborhood. Used to go to Donut Parade before it closed in 2016, so happy it is open again. Excellent donuts, maple bars are a must have. It also has a refurbished interior and looks great in my opinion. Outside windows have been cleaned as well. Employees are great and they have added a small amount of merchandise (hats, shirts, etc.) that you can buy, which I like. I read in the paper a couple weeks ago that they would be re-opening under new management, and they have done a great job. For sure the best donuts in downtown Spokane. Fortunately for my health, I have not tried every donut citywide but there is a good chance this is the best in all of Spokane. Go to Donut Parade! read more

Very tastey donuts! The line wasn't too bad on a Saturday Morning when we went, it was out the door and around the corner but it wasn't a long wait, as we were just getting past the front door another customer came out and said there were no Maple Bars and there would be an hour wait, but I didn't mind, I'd gone and met up with my In-Laws and we just got two dozen boxes of various donuts. The Blueberry glazed cake donuts were my absolute favorite, and they let us sample donut holes(I think that's what they were) and they were also absolutely AMAZING. read more

Here's the kind of luck I have. I find this place two weeks before I move from Spokane to Denver. Of course I never knew of it for the past six years that I spent in Spokane. Place is awesome, the Apple Fritter and Maple Bar. Coffee is great, from the local coffee shop down the road. Owners are super nice. How nice? So nice that a lady asked about the ingredients of doughnut due to allergies of someone in her family and the owner went and confirmed all of the ingredients to see if it would be an issue (it was, she didn't get it). The fact he went above shows them type of Mom & Pop shop this is. Great doughnuts, great people, great coffee, very chill place. Go here. read more

This is THE spot for quality, handmade donuts in Spokane. They produce a mean bacon maple bar but my favorites are their classics. The old fashioned donuts are so addictive. The location is unpretentious and well-lived in. It's been around since the dawn of time so it's always surprising to me that more people don't know about it. Wherever you are at...South Hill, Spokane Valley--this place is worth the trip to Hamilton. read more

#SaturdayMorning #Breakfast from Doughnut Parade. When we first moved to Spokane seven years ago people said "oOhmergawd! Go to doughnut parade. Best ever. Oh mer gawd!!! Yummmo!" And we went and we were like "meh" and also a little "ummm, ewww". Because, no lie, our shoes were sticking to the floor - the - whole time. It was dark. It was smelly, not in a "Yum! Fresh doughnuts!" kind of way. More like "Did the coffee spill from 1979 ever get cleaned up?" smelly. And we never went back. Recently it closed, then reopened, and somewhere in between got a facelift and a massive cleaning! Halleluyer!! I heard this week that they have a new breakfast sandnut?doughwich? (sausage, egg and cheese in doughnut dough) and fried to order. I needed one. I got one. I am in heaven. Keep up the cleaning routine and I'll come in every so often for one of these babies! read more

A dive with donuts to kill for. I loved the whole experience! The maple bar is a must. Just ridiculously good. I'm thankful I don't live near DP or they'd have to roll me outta the restaurant in 3 years. The only downside would be the distinct smell of grease, biscuit gravy, and cigarettes that seems to coat your clothes and skin like campfire smoke. That is, if smelling like diner could actually be considered a bad thing... If you're near Spokane, get here! read more

Been coming here for 5 years. The staff ridiculously friendly, it's fun to be remembered. The donuts made by the same guy. The owner who opened this business! Their donuts aren't very bready. They are nice and soft with great icing on top. All these years I have not found anything significant enough to complain about. Locally owned!!! This place is NOT overrated, you must come if you haven't tried. Some of the best donuts EVER! Get there early to get a nice spot to sit and enjoy yourself. Watch how quickly this donut shop will fill up. Service is...well...weird. we stood there at the counter and noby helped us. Then we sat down and got ignored. Finally we stood back up when more people came and a line formed. Otherwise it was like we were the invisible first people there. That sucked and made me grumpy but the donuts were honestly worth it....this time. I wouldn't go back if that consistently were to happen. read more

I go here every Friday morning with my girlfriend for their Friday Special. They say it is a cup of coffee and two maple bars for $3, which is already amazing. But if you sit down and eat, they bring you an entire pot of coffee with cream and sugar. So its really like all the coffee you can drink and two maple bars. They have specials everyday, but Friday is my favorite by far. They also have day old donuts like most places. These ones are $4 for a "dozen" but when I did it they let me get 14... so they are pretty generous on the day olds. The staff is very nice and really respects us regulars. read more

What a fun little gem! We were in town for business and wanted to grab some donuts before a meeting and were shocked at the wide variety of options. Not only are the donuts whimsical and delicious, they also offer other items such and cinnamon rolls that were the size of my face. Super cute spot! I was a little nervous when I heard this place had switched ownership. I picked up a dozen donuts just did a variety. These are still the same old amazing donuts that had been in Spokane since the 60's. Keep up the good work. Also they have new hours 6-6 7 days a week. read more

Meh. The store smelled good.... ‍ Doughnut texture was weird... grainy, not melty and almost tasted baked not fried. Flavor was mild, borderline nonexistent. I wouldn't buy these again... there are so many other options. read more

Just when I thought I'd never find donuts like I had in my old hometown (Boston a donut paradise) along comes The Donut Parade. Gosh - these are DONUTS the way they should be - light texture, sweet with being sickly sweet and you don't get grease stomach for the rest of the day. Great selection that keeps up instead of sold out by 9:00. AM so we are closed. read more

Started by Daryl Jones in 1968, the was sold three years ago the new propietors are Roy and Christian Reno .Christian has been a long time employee of the donut parade . Together they are just carrying on the march of the donut parade Closed for remodel and reopened under new ownership March 13th of 2019

The seasonal dulce de leche iced latte was so strong in the best way and brought me back to life with how flavorful it was. Seven dollars even and worth every penny. You can see in the attached photos that I really tried to get every drop of the drink. It was so good that I got another latte to go (cardamom), also so so good. Everything else: cute space with lots of plants and two tables (but other seating available in the commons), barista who is clearly very knowledgeable about every part of the coffee and actually likes making the drinks. Really nice service and you get updated on your drink even when it's busy which is nice, I've never had that in other cafes. I really can't reiterate how amazing this coffee was. Must try if you have not, and if you have you definitely already know.

It was very delicious but I will say the milk was luke warm and not very hot for a hot latte, next time I would ask for it extra hot. I also got the Logan latte, iced. It comes with oat milk which is nice. The flavors went very well together and it was delicious. It was a little sweet so I recommend getting it half sweet next time. The gift shop portion of the store stocks what feels like a little bit of everything. Books, stickers, soaps, lotions, trinkets, home decor, t-shirts, art, books, cards, chocolates...and that's just what I remember! And then the coffee shop portion has a surprisingly large menu. I'm used to coffee shops in stores being more like small coffee stands; but nope, this operation feels like a fully stocked coffee shop. Plus they also serve tea, matcha, and smoothies...and breakfast sandwiches, AND pastries. As you might imagine: this all makes the store smell quite good! There aren't a ton of seats but when I visited with family, we managed to find a couple tables so we could enjoy our drinks and snacks sitting down. Their coffee is very, very tasty - I tried both hot and iced lattes during my multiple visits. I didn't have tea on-site but I did buy some of their blends to brew at home, and they are also very, very tasty. Unfortunately they don't do online sales, and since I was traveling I didn't have the space to pack up everything I wanted to take home with me. Maybe future me will have the chance to come back...in the meantime, I hope you lucky locals appreciate this place as much as I did!

I saw they had ube crepes, but when we went they didn't have it and onto had ube croffles, so I decided to try that. We also wanted to try the chicken melt crepe. I really enjoyed the croffle, it had a delicious chocolate flavor but wish it had more ube flavor as it was very faint. The chicken melt crepe was okay, but not my favorite. I feel the lemon didn't match, and it was inconsistently seasoned. Some parts were extremely salty, while others were not salted at all. It was nice to try but I'd try something else next time. Overall I would return again, but I'd try a different crepe and hoping they have ube crepes next time I visit.

But the highlight was their baked goods, 100% gluten free at a very reasonable price for the portion and quality. I've passed this place many times and always wanted to stop in but when I read that they were thinking of shutting down, I finally decided to stop in. My only regret is that I didn't come in sooner! It has a cozy diner feel to it and they were packed but the line moved along quickly. The staff was very upbeat and friendly and took orders with ease. We got the maple bars and glazed donuts. Very light and soft and the maple frosting wasn't extremely sweet like other places. The glazed donuts were large and amazingly delicious. My mom was disappointed that they didn't have any donuts with filling available but the quality of the maple bars far made up for that. I hope they don't close down. I'm an instant fan and will definitely be returning. Three out of five stars for establishment cleanliness, 4/5 staff courtesy, 4/5 food quality and 4/5 for pricing. I do have to mention that the parking is pretty tight so be sure to pay extra attention to the traffic and pedestrians when you're pulling in. read more

I consider myself a doughnut expert...I seek out doughnuts in every town I travel to. I have had all sorts of doughnuts from all types of places. I was given a tip on Donut Parade from a fellow doughnut lover, and warned the building was a little old, run down, but to not worry...it was worth the trip. I went mid day the first time, bought 6 doughnuts with my husband...we tried them all and they were DIVINE. Came back the second day and bought a dozen...we timed it just right and they were bringing out a tray of hot maple bars. I thought Top Pot Seattle could not be beat...but I stand corrected...for a fraction of the price I am now certain I had some of the best doughnuts in the Northwest...will return the next time I am in Spokane!! AMAZING!!! That's an under statement for "THE DONUT PARADE". Ever since Darrell and Kathy Jones have retired, Christian(who has been working here off and on for the past 19 years) and her husband Roy have taken over the delicious warmth of the great "maple bar", the customers cannot complain. There is also tremendious talk of the huge assortments of cake donuts there are.From a maple-cake to coconut covered cherry, orange,or chocolate cakes. And just recently has ROY introduced the "Apple-fritters". "cinnamon-rolls", "twists", "glazed-rapberry bars"( which all go out the door quicker than they can hit the case) and several more choices, too many to list!!!! With prices like theirs, it's hard to beat!! So "march on in" and you will be greeted like you have been visiting for years. This is my Favorite Dounut shop ever the workers are really nice they like to chat with you and they are really cheap and they give day olds for 50¢ and they have really good maple bars and they have candy decorated dounuts I recommend this to you if you want a dounut.
