But the iced coffee was advertised for $3 on the menu and we were charged over $4 each and the workers just said "the price is incorrect". Typically you can't charged differently from what is advertised and the people working there didn't seem like they knew how to remedy it. I originally wrote a harsh and unfair review of my donut experience here... To be fair, I loved the variety of donuts here. There were a lot of unique flavors that caught my eye. You could truly tell that they put 110% with the donuts they make here. Super unique, creative, and fun. With that being said, I'm extremely picky with my donuts... The donuts here are extremely unique, but the texture wasn't for me. A lot of the ones I chose were a bit too cakey for me, but that's a personal preference... Right when me and my friend walked in we were immediately being questioned as to how many donuts we wanted.. like uhm can we breath first? We finally decided on getting the creme brûlée and the strawberry shortcake donuts. Lovey little shop in alameda with great decor and even better donuts. Some fun flavors and the quality was better than your standard donut shop. Only downside is it's a bit pricey for donuts (2 lattes and 6 donuts $24), but seems to be a prerequisite for surviving the high cost of living in the Bay Area. I was eagerly awaiting Donut Petit's grand opening. It's nice to have a decadent donut shop. I love the old school donut spots elsewhere on the island, and I'll continue to support those businesses, but when I crave a non traditional flavor Donut Petit is my new go-to. I've tried their carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, blueberry and creme brûlée--they're chewy with a bit of bite and moist. The interior is something special. Not the usual millennial aesthetic (which I do like), but it's refreshing to see something new. Everything is super clean and well taken care of, and I hope it stays that way. I love seeing nice local shops pop up on Webster. I often feel this side of the island is mostly insurance businesses and development. The service is always super friendly, too. In a word, delicious! We picked up a dozen for a shelter-in-place treat and, while pricey, they were so good the cost would not deter me from going again... and again. I've lived in Alameda for 7ish months now but yesterday was my first time coming here and WOW! I got 3 donuts - a glazed and an old fashion chocolate - both which were for someone else (who said they were super fresh, not oily, overall great donut). I got the raspberry vanilla vegan donut for myself and O M G. I could've eaten 100 of them! I don't eat entirely vegan but often times I prefer to, and this did not miss. Every time I go back I'm going to try the other vegan ones now. I wonder if it's possible to do a stacked pyramid of vegan donuts as a bday cake?! Very friendly and welcoming environment as well. We finally stopped by and tried 3 donuts, carrot cake donut, apple caramel crisp and fruity cereal donut with a latte. My daughter gobbled that cereal donut. I love the other donuts. Super cute and accessible location at the corner of Webster in Santa Clara avenue in Alameda. We were greeted with a smile and a donut sample. The sample was of a buttermilk donut hole. The sample was amazing!! The buttermilk donut hole had a thin crunchy layer of gazing and the center was soft. We also tried the creme brûlée (highly recommended). The strawberry shortcake was good but not stellar. The blueberry filled powdered donut is an experience to be enjoyed alone (don't share). The almond milk latte was strong and tasty. I must admit, maybe it was the bad air and the pandemic vibes, but I wasn't that impressed with the setup. Which is understandable, given they're in the soft opening and no one's really out and about today. But after ordering my donuts and taking them home, all my opinions about ambiance went out the door when I actually started eating. The quality proved itself. I had high hopes when I found this charming donut shop near Cafe Jolie. The donut varieties were impressive and I decided to try the chocolate cake and pistachio cake donuts. Both of them were surprisingly greasy on the bottom. It appeared as though the oil had not been hot enough when they were fried, so the dough had absorbed more grease than they should have. That really decreased my enjoyment of these cute little donuts. I may try it again some other time and see if they are better. read more

I tried five different flavors, it was my first time visiting the establishment. My selection went as followed: Pistachio, Rosewater, chocolate filled, strawberry shortcake, Le macaroon! Pistachio has to be my favorite. The flavor was delicious and the donut itself was light and fluffy.
