Oh my gosh how I wish Lucky Goat Coffee was in my neighborhood in Southern California! It was such…read morea pleasant experience to find this coffeehouse and met the baristas. The coffee was fantastic! The vibe was calm and welcoming and there were so many delicious and creative options we ran out of traveling days to even make a dent in their menu! I can't wait to come back and visit. If you want excellent coffee and are looking for unique flavors you gotta try this place. Even just black coffee is so smooth and not bitter. My sample was nice and hot too. The quality of coffee here is definitely top notch and one not to miss if you love coffee like I do! The first visit, on a crisp 33 degree morning, I ordered a large Goat Bomb cold brew and a large Lucky Bomb cold brew. The Goat Bomb is cold brew with espresso. The Lucky Bomb is their exclusive vanilla powder with cream and espresso. In both cups you tasted delicious coffee flavor that wasn't watery or burnt tasting. It was smooth and aromatic. The coffee flavor came through the creamer easily so you still knew you were drinking coffee and not just milk with a hint of coffee. It was hard to pace myself and make it last the morning. While I was waiting for my order, I started chatting with Melissa, who was creating my coffee drinks. She recommended that on my next visit I had to ask for the cold brew blend that they specially make for the holidays called "Snowflake Crunch". I was so intrigued that she even provided me with a small sample. It was fantastic. I had actually wished my current order she was making included that option of cold brew, but in the end it meant I was determined to return the next day to try it. Snowflake Crunch is a combination of vanilla, hazelnut and cinnamon flavors. But it isn't candy sweet like you'd think, it is a balanced mix of holiday spirit in your mouth. I was so grateful I made time to met Melissa. Her recommendation made my experience in the coffeehouse so much more than a cup of coffee. I felt "lucky" to find Lucky Goat Coffee and I know you will too!

(Which... we did.) Love Potion Latte (Valentine's menu): Absolutely delicious. The strawberry aroma alone could convince someone to fall in love. And served in that giant Rushing Trading mug? A full commitment. Zero regrets. Brown Sugar French Toast: I added strawberries and bacon because I believe in living boldly. It paid off. Perfection. Lumberjack Special: That board comes out looking like it's ready to feed a small village. Not a complaint uttered. Service was great, our server was on it, attentive, and basically read our minds the whole time.

The matcha was weak - charge for milk was unexpected, $6.75. The staff were great, the ambience and slight smattering of decor inside was okay. Just not what we anticipated after seeing the description of a blend of European and Southern - small portions for the price. We might try again for other menu items, not planning to go out of our way since there are other more flavorful, better-priced brunch places around. $65.97 later, the two of us are headed to Starbucks for matcha.

I always love the little treats from here. Price is great, especially for the made-to-order items like the teas. Cakes are very filling, everything here looks smaller than it feels after eating half. I recommend the butter cookies with jam in the center and the black milk tea. Service was good; our cashier was a bit soft spoken but very kind. I asked the person working if they're able to make a Thai Milk Tea that's blended like a slush just how they make it at the Duluth location. I asked three times to clarify if they're able to make it blended to be sure and considerate. The person offered me at first oat milk?? But I just asked for it to be blended. After clearing that up, I asked again to make sure if they're able to make the Thai milk tea blended. Another worker even agreed saying they could. TELL ME WHY WHEN I GOT MY DRINK IT WAS JUST OVER ICE? I ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES TO BE SURE. HOW?! I'm not even upset at the drink, but the fact I asked multiple times and got a confirmation they could make it blended and in the end it was just a normal Thai milk tea. Go to the Duluth location instead. They also messed up the fish waffle orders too. My friend's order was forgotten despite there being only my group and another party in the store. So after a long wait they went up to check for it to be forgotten. When it came out, it was all custard not even half red bean. What the heck is up??? How??? GO TO THE DULUTH LOCATION INSTEAD.

The second time I came back we were greeted with a 30-min wait, which was expected due to the weekend and peak hour. But to our surprise we were actually seated within 15-minutes. While we waited, I used the restroom for the first time and it was clean and smelled fresh with cute decor. We were served with drinks right away and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. We looked at the menu beforehand, but last minute my husband and I decided to try recommended dishes. Here's our spread: Strawberry Short stack - 5/5 Sausage and egg biscuit with - 4/5 Cowboy omelette - 5/5 Chicken & Waffles - 5/5 Philly Fries Meal - 5/5 Bottomless Sweet Tea - 5/5 The pancakes were moist and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. My daughter swore she'd eat the entire stack, but of course we knew otherwise. My mother in law enjoyed the sausage and egg biscuit, the sausage was a little more well done than she'd like but everything was seasoned well. The Philly fries were a surprise due to its massive size. My family demolished it. It was seasoned well with the right balance of meat, onions and cheese, my daughter wanted to it all by herself lol. The Cowboy omelette was also massive. The eggs cooked well stuffed with all the fixings - they definitely didn't skimp on it. Topped with fresh guacamole and salsa it was a delight. The chicken and waffles was recommended by our server and my husband was amazed by the whole dish. The balance of sweet and salty and the textures were perfect. The crunch of the chicken didn't take away from the moist meat. He created his "perfect bite" with a piece of chicken and waffles and it was heavenly. I'd definitely get it for myself next time. The waffle had a slight bite but also moist. I've experienced dry waffles before and this proved otherwise. Overall the experience was great. The service was excellent especially during a rush hour. Also we were very happy to see the Christmas decor. It really felt like a hometown feel and we enjoyed every minute. Definitely have Oy! on your list for brunch with the family! I'd visit once a week if I could.

We ordered a few different dishes including steak and eggs, French toast, pancakes with bacon, and a burger with fries. The steak was cooked nicely, but it was a little tough. The French toast was thick and tasty, but it tasted more like bread pudding to me--it wasn't as light and fluffy as traditional French toast. The pancakes were simple but good. Portions were generous and definitely filling. Overall, the food was good, but not quite as impressive as I had expected. I also wish their juice was fresh squeezed. Overall, it's a solid brunch spot, but with a few small improvements it could be even better.
