Each customer grabs their own set of tongs to get pastries and provide to staff upon checkout. I love their dedication to high quality cleanliness and sanitation standards. A definite plus! I ordered the Boba Brown Sugar Matcha (cold) with almond milk substitute due to lactose intolerance. It was very delicious, especially the brown sugar boba pearls. It wasn't as sweet as I had hoped and the texture inside wasn't pleasant to me. The ube filling was chunky and kinda broke apart. I ultimately had to ask another customer who was standing in line if they knew where to pick up a DoorDash order. The entire experience was incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. A simple acknowledgment or, at the very least, "We'll be with you in a moment" would have made a huge difference.

They roast single origin coffees onsite and sell them in completely biodegradable pods, which only stay on their shelves for up to 30 days so the coffee always tastes super fresh. They are not like other biodegradable pods you may see for sale elsewhere, these actually ensure you get a fantastic cup of coffee each time. I started talking to the baristas, Lisa and Anastasia, and shared that I used to work for Starbucks and was amazed how the same coffee could taste completely different if it was prepared differently. Lisa promptly took out two bags of coffee and prepared a pour over of each. They were the same beans, but roasted at different temperatures. She gave tastes to me and another customer. It was amazing how different the coffees tasted, and they even had different colors. It was such a cool experience! I bought a box of Columbia medium roast pods, which I've been enjoying every day this week. They have several coffees available to try, along with pastries and made to order sandwiches. It's located in an industrial area, off the main road, but is well worth the trip if you're looking for some delicious coffee. It's become my go to coffee roaster in the Richmond area.

They use homemade banana syrup in the drink and you can tell, it is delicious. The cold brew is a good tasting coffee and the matcha tastes like they use high quality ingredients. This is a great coffee shop to come and hang out if you can find seating.
