If you want tacos, there's so many more authentic choices locally. Why go to a donut shop for tacos...?) muffins and of course donuts! This place has gone completely down hill over the last couple of years. They appear to be changing the quality and size of their donuts and the result is barely edible. look at the photo I attached and tell me if you think this looks appealing. Customers deserve better than businesses that just go through the motions of producing their food to save on ingredients and time. You can tell from the picture that is what happened here. I have given this place plenty of second chances but I'm finally done. read more

It's a good spot with donuts and kolaches. The location is small-it's mostly good for takeout but they have two booths if you feel like sitting in. I've had their old fashioned donut which is solid. I've always dealt with the gentleman behind the counter and he's always been friendly and cheerful, even if there's a gaggle of children around who are indecisive and full of questions. They recently have a new menu of breakfast sandwiches that sound delicious but I haven't had a chance to try yet. read more

Love the Vietnamese ice coffee here, taste amazing and will keep me awake. 4 stars because sometimes take longer than usual even I placed order online, but still have to wait 10-15 minutes for just small order. They service the customers who order inside first even I order ahead like 20-25 minutes ahead. They don't allow customers to use their restroom I guess it's not so clean and they do not want to keep it clean that's why they don't let us use. But it's ok! read more

I've ordered from here so many times, but today (8/30/23) around 10:30am I received some sausage (jalapeño and regular) kolaches that tasted disgusting. The best way to describe the taste/smell was a rank horseradish. I don't know what was wrong with them or if anyone else has had this issue, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting any food from here in the future. read more

Saw this idea on a neighborhood post & had to steal it for my son's birthday. They usually include fun toppings like cereal etc... but my boy is pretty picky...Sprinkles & icing only. They do ask for a days notice for the Happy birthday donuts. We were able to pickup at 6am this morning and the cost was $15. I do wish that I would have taken a better picture, but they didn't last very long read more

My partner and I recently found this place on UberEats and we absolutely LOVE it!! The donuts, kolaches, and donut holes are the BEST! I will say that the breakfast taco I tried wasn't the best, but everything else is incredible. The french vanilla iced coffee is so flavorful- I don't like coffee very much, but I would go out of my way just to get this one! My partner went in person last weekend and she told me how sweet the staff was. We've tried a lot of donut places in the area, and this is by far our favorite. Whoa. These are fantastic. Once a week my husband and I take our kids out for donuts. We've found what we thought was our favorite place, until today. Donuts crown is perhaps the best donuts we've had in the Austin area. Big, fluffy, soft donuts. We bought way too many once we figured out how amazing they were. We tried the plain glazed, raised cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake, filled, chocolate glazed, and the blue glazed. They were all super tasty but the raised cinnamon was my fave!! Just a note, if you get a white filling in your donut - it is just the basic glaze as filling. Which is super sweet. It was my least favorite, which was unfortunate because the donuts was still super amazing. Do yourself a favor and eat here!! Can't post pictures of what we ordered because we devoured them too quickly! read more

I decided to do a search on Yelp for kolaches and tagged several different donut places. I tried at least 4 local places before going to Donuts Crown. Wow! Their kolaches are the best! There is a vast selection, they are big and delicious! The boudain is my favorite and the absolute best! So tasty! In fact, I had a friend over who is from Texas and loves kolaches. He stopped by Donuts Crown to get donuts and kolaches for us (at my request). He took one bite of the boudain and then said it was the best boudain he's had and if he lived here he'd be going there 3-4 times a week. The donuts are good too. I'm looking forward to trying other items like the breakfast tacos. read more

So this place? It's perfect! I don't know how long they've been here, but my kids and I stopped in here when our prior regular place (Morning Sunshine) was closed. I had promised my daughter a donut, and I recalled seeing Donuts Crown down the road. It's cute and clean and the owner is super sweet. They have booths, their donuts are dreamy and the kolaches are the best we've ever had. We loved it so much that we had to bring my husband back on his next day off. My husband loves donuts too, but while my daughter and I are mildly accepting (we hate grocery store donuts and wouldn't eat the garbage vending machine/gas station type donuts but consider several local places in Cedar Park to be good ... whereas my husband will just sit with coffee and no sugary treat at those same places because he is a donut snob) so we usually drive allllll the way to round rock donuts for good donuts on dads days off. My husband loved Donuts Crown! So much that we come in every week and my daughter now has a "regular" order. We've tried the donuts, the kolaches, the eclair, the donut holes, the croissant breakfast sandwich (which, by the way, is the mother of breakfast sandwiches - I always get ham/bacon) and most recently ... the cinnamon roll! The cinnamon roll was totally the cherry on top of our delight, because our struggle to find good cinnamon rolls in Texas has been *real.* I just can't believe we had been driving all of the way to Round Rock Donuts when this place is just down the street from our house. read more

This place is incredible! We found them via doordash during quarantine and consider ourselves lucky! Iced Vietnamese coffee- to die for! Their breakfast sandwiches are my all time favorite. Purchased a wide variety of kolache, cinnamon twist, baked and fried rolls, as well as apple fritters. The kolache bread roll is superb, though I found the filling to be a non-event. All of the cinnamon goods were excellent, especially the baked cinnamon rolls, which were top notch. The apple fritters were very good, though still the grail of apple fritters is found at Dripping Springs Donuts. Donuts Crown also makes an outstanding egg sandwich, which will be a mandatory item on my future purchases. Staff is very friendly. read more

I love this place. Everything they make is delicious, and the owner is incredibly nice. My family has become regulars here, so I've now tried almost everything they make. It's all incredible! Their dough is pillowy and delicious, and it makes everything taste so good. Their kolaches have to be my favorite though. Closely followed by their cinnamon rolls. It's all good, and it's amazing that this place is right down the street from us. A true mom-and-pop gem in Cedar Park. This place is doing it right. read more

We ordered mixed donuts, breakfast tacos, and croissants. While the tacos and croissants is typical of breakfast food, the donuts is very delicious. It tastes soft, and fluffy. I did not have any bad donuts from the mixed selection. Each donut flavor I had was distinct. Also the donuts still taste moist and delicious even on the next day!!! The food is good but be careful of getting over charged. I was charged extra for my coffee and kolache. Usually I would have missed it but the store billed me a charge called custom tax for half my bill and I got suspicious. I initially thought it was a mistake and asked the store lady. She first said that the prices on the board are old and has gone up. Next she changed her story and said she billed me for the largest cup of coffee. She wasn't still willing to refund the difference. Weird experience. It's a small amount but the store probably does this to everyone so be wary and ask for your bills! read more

During my visit, I ordered their mint basil sorbet which was very good. At five dollars per scoop, it's definitely on the pricier side. However, the ambience inside this ice cream shop was nice and I could see myself hanging out here socially if they had more dairy free options. But overall, I had an okay experience here. The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. They are located in a small plaza with ample parking. It was also easy to get in and out of the parking lot, which I think is a big plus.

The donuts are SO beautifully decorated, and they taste as good as they look!! The glazed are light and fluffy and have that right out of the oven taste. The cake donuts are light as well, no lead sinkers here. The variety is amazing, including breakfast croissants and kolaches. Try the BOUIDIN kolache, it is to die for! By the way, this place is under NEW MANAGEMENT, so if you are passing it up because you tried it a year ago and weren't impressed, TRY THEM AGAIN.
