The donuts are bomb! But the food (breakfast bacon, egg n cheese bagel sandwich) SUCKED and I'm so sad bc I bought two and both were burnt. CHARRED. I gave my sister the lesser burnt one but it was still burnt. If it were filled more I might be more forgiving but it was also very empty inside. I'm sharing pictures bc there's no reason I'm out $13 and got dry, empty, and burnt items. Why would they even hand that out!? They should be embarrassed for charging anyone for this. I couldn't even head back bc I was running late already and it's not right around the corner. I'll be back for the donuts, but I would recommend not eating the food here. read more

I picked up some Old Fashion Donuts from this donut shop. I went for the covered with a maple frosting. The old fashion donut had that good fry which gave it a good crunchy texture, yet a nice soft center. The maple frosting was quite good, specifically in flavor, but it was a little on the hard side. I bought a box of assorted donuts (with a coupon from a different app) so they had already picked what was in the box. I didn't even get to look until I got home I just noticed it was full. These are THE BEST donuts I have found so far in San Diego. The glaze is just right, no funny aftertaste. There was a donut that was as big as a Sasquatch foot with a delicious apple cinnamon filling. The place was clean and service was quick, but one lady was nicer than the other but who's to say that's not just my opinion. I will definitely buy my donuts here from now on. read more

My biggest issue with alot of donut places, is that they are "out" of donuts, or more will be made later, when they are usually open late night or 24/7. This donut gem is always consistent no matter what time of day I come and they are always fresh! They have a great variety, and they also have huge donuts if you are feeling mighty! Some of the best donuts I've hade lately. The glazed old fashioned was perfect. It had that nice crunch on the outside but not too hard with that nice soft moist inside - absolutely delicious. And yes I'm still talking about the glazed old-fashioned doughnut lol. But the chocolate on chocolate with chocolate sprinkles the bomb!!! That was one of the best donuts I've had in a long time. Super fresh, the inside was nice and moist with that nice crisp outer shell with a thin layer of chocolate and then the chocolate sprinkles on top. I don't know how they do it but they just did it well. Cant wait to come back and try more because I know they will likely all be just as delicious. The staff was super friendly. And there wasn't a lot of people in there. The establishment has several tables right in the front and all those were clean and tidy. What more could you need at a donut shop. Solid donut joint. Pulled up around 11p/12a times as I just reached SD. Tested my regular suspects : Glazed, and Custard Filled. For the fiance ingrabbed a Cream Cheese Croissant. Custard filled was good. Really creamy and chocolatey. The 1/2 dozen of glazed were okay. Nothing wowed me about them..... the donuts were super fluffy. So I gotta give credit where credit is due.
