These are always fresh and don't leave a gross oily after taste like some other places do. I'm a huge fan of their chocolate old fashion and chocolate cake donuts, blueberry, and the buttermilk old fashion bar here. But they are all great. My kids love the glazed raised. I come here all the time for the French cruellers. It's the best. I don't know how make theirs but it's unlike the other donut shops. It's consistent in both of their locations. One day, I noticed they had a too good to go deal and wanted to see what's it's like. It's soooo worth it. For $6.45, you get a dozen donuts and some donut holes (see pic). I just demolished a donut for dinner and had to immediately jump on to share 5 stars. As someone who doesn't really care about donuts typically, this is news. This is a return trip. A few weeks ago I saw they had a guava filled donut and stopped in mid-dog walk. Normally don't enjoy a filled donut (too sweet) but this delectable treat was light and delicious. I finished it in seconds. I've been thinking about that guavt for weeks, and finally went back to grab one tonight (love their late hours!) as "dessert." When I saw allll the flavors I found myself also ordering an old fashioned, cruller, and a custard filled. It's not easy to find real custard! They filled it fresh on the spot, and carefully handed it to me. When I got home I realized my old-fashioned donut was still warm from the FRESH batch they were working on. I ate pre-dinner so I could enjoy it...and wow did I. After you visit you'll see what I mean. It's a gem. Looks like an old Subway but smells like donut heaven. Take cash if possible. They have a great selection from classic glazed, crumb, maple bars, old fashioneds, filled donuts, donut holes, you name it. On top of that, they also participate in Too Good To Go, offering an assorted box to help reduce food waste, unlike the big chains that unfortunately throw away their leftovers at the end of the night. The ones that were glazed were crispy on the outside, and nice and soft on the inside. I came across this place years ago since it's in the same small shopping plaza of one of my favorite bagel shops. They have always had fresh donuts and people are consistently coming and going for these delicious treats. The prices are not outrageous by any means, when you walk inside, you can smell the aroma of fresh baked goodies. I want to say their glazed donut comes pretty close to a fresh Krispy Kreme donut, it's so soft, pillowy and delicious. They pretty much have all kinds of donuts: many yeast donuts(glazed, sugar, cinnamon, etc) old -fashioned donuts (all diff kinds), buttermilk (different kinds) Cake donuts (glazed, frosting or sprinkles), many types of long johns and twists, Filled donuts.(fruit, custard, white) They have 'white cream filled' donuts. Many places on the west coast do not carry 'white cream' filled donuts. (some of these are higher in price, but more of specialty donuts) Favorites: 1. Plain glazed yeast donut 2. Apple fritter (they have larger and smaller one, if you are getting a dozen donuts you can get the small fritters) 3. Crullers! (not too many places have these so my last visit I lucked out..) 4. White cream filled ones are pretty good. The staff that work here are so kind. You can see they work very hard and are very efficient. Randomly went here while waiting for our burrito a couple doors down. You can smell the donuts from the outside in the parking lot and it made me crave a maple donut. There was no one in the store and it looked very similar to other mom & pop donut shops. The Asian lady working there took our order and recommended we either get a blueberry or chocolate with peanuts donut since they just came out of the oven. We ordered the maple, two different blueberry donuts and the choco with peanuts. She was so sweet to let us know she had some fresh ones. The donuts surprised us bc they were so good and moist. Our fave was the blueberry without the glaze bc it was similar to the m&m donut in Anaheim. The maple was perfect and the choco w/ peanuts was decadent. I consider myself lucky that my favorite donut shop is just a short walk away. The storefront is unassuming, and the donuts are not flashy, but they are delicious! My favorite for a long time was a Chocolate Raised- a fluffy donut with a little chocolate on top (see the one with M&M's- they are optional). After several years of consistency I had to branch out so I tried the Chocolate Cake with colored sprinkles (see top R in the box). OMG they are so good!! Just a little mom & pop donut shop that's been there for about 34 years. The sweet & adorable lady that helped us said they opened in 1988. Just walk nearby and you'll smell those delicious donuts wafting out the door. It's a CASH ONLY establishment but they do have an ATM in the shop - which charges $2.75 for a transaction, so not too bad at all. Really didn't expect much from the donuts. But ended up being really wowed at how good they were. My husband loves cake donuts and old fashioned donuts - I do not because they are typically so dry. I am not a sweets person and if I get donuts...I'm a raised donut gal. However, the old fashioned here was actually so good. It was not super dry! And the buttermilk glazed tasted like a shortbread cookie! My husband loved it. The cinnamon cake donut had such a delicious flavor and it was not dry. It was so good. The raised glazed was what really shocked me. My favorite donut is a simple glazed Krispy kreme donut and most donut shops just can't compare. I won't say that this place has donuts just like Krispy kreme but I will say that the raised glazed was VERY delicious. It was airy, light, soft and moist on the inside. It was very fresh and had great flavor. Perfectly glazed. My husband also got the apple bear claw which was a raised donut and had a saucy cinnamon apple filling.
