Well, several years ago I needed my roll up garage door replaced. HOA was particular about the look. Our doors were no longer manufactured. Door Depot went out of their way to find the matching door. Can't tell the difference between original and replacement! Skip to this past Tuesday NIGHT. I drive up to garage and nothing. I can hear a motor, but nothing's happening. Debbie and Bud teamed up to make a potentially bad scene great again. I called in at 10:00 AM, and Debbie answered the second ring. She was out on an errand and suggested we trade a text message or two to figure out what the problem was with my garage door. Within 15 minutes, I had an appointment set with Bud. He arrived on time and looked at several failed roller hinges. Three replacements were installed in 15 minutes. While cleaning up and lubricating all the rollers, he found a broken torsion spring. That was a problem. The springs can be very dangerous and damage more than the door. Bud had two replacements in his truck and promptly replaced both springs. His estimate was accurate and affordable. Door Depot came through with flying colors. Very pleased and will recommend them to anyone who asks. Returned home after an extended vacation and my garage door wouldn't close. Called Door Depot, they were able to come out the same day and replace the spring. Door Depot provides the best service and most reasonable price, I wouldn't recommend anyone else for garage door problems. One of my garage door springs broke yesterday at 2:30pm, I found Door Depot on Yelp and left a message on the phone, Debbie returned my call within an hour and arrange evaluation and estimate later afternoon. Bud and Debbie came around 6pm, took measurement of the 4 springs and promised a quote early next morning and hopefully we can get it replaced on the same day. I received her text at 6:30am with a quote that I can't refuse and Bud was able to squeeze me in his fully booked schedule by coming at 7am to fix it. I was so impressed with Bud's professional skill, it took him less than 40 minutes to replace all 4 springs, clean up after his work and checked my garage door opener plus a little maintenance on it at the end, he even replaced a broken garage door hinge for free. Bud told me he has been doing this for over 30 years and he specialized in garage doors only. They are a family owned business, very friendly and easy to work with, it felt like working with your next door neighbor. I truly am glad I found Door Depot and with their help my garage door is working again over night. I did have a couple of estimate over the phone to my problem, both tried to upsell me or over charge me for the job, Debbie and Bud provided quality work and parts as well as reasonable price, I would not go anywhere else for my garage door issues from now on. read more

I just had Bud from Door Depot come and replace the broken garage door spring. The spring snapped around 2:30 today, and I got Bud, the owner, to come and repair it by 6. Instead of going with some of the highly Yelp rated contractors, I took a chance with Door Depot, and I am very happy with their service. Bud and his wife are self-employed, running a small mom-and-pop shop. They have been in business for 30 years. I can tell Bud is very skilled and was very pleasant to deal with. I am in the construction/maintenance business myself, so I have pretty good instincts for reading contractors. Anyhow, not only was he quick and efficient, but you are also probably not going to find much better prices. Keep in mind, businesses with a lot of Yelp reviews are often investing a lot of money in marketing and have higher overhead costs which will come out of our pockets.
