I had a decent experience with my salesperson, but everything after the handshake was a nightmare. I would leave 0 stars if I could! Doral Kia relies on exhaustion tactics and dishonest "errors" to squeeze money out of you. After agreeing on an all-in down payment, we were forced to wait 2.5 hours to see the finance manager. We literally had to pack our stuff and threaten to walk before they suddenly became "available." The real issues started in the finance office. Despite our clear agreement, the finance manager tried to sneak the 1st month's payment and tag/title/tax fees on top of my total out-of-pocket amount. I was so fed up at that point I walked out of his office, out the main door of the dealership, and got in my car to leave. The General Manager actually ran out to the parking lot to stop me, apologizing and re-confirming the original deal. When I sat back down for the 2nd time, the finance manager AGAIN tried to sneak in the fees. When I called him out, he removed them instantly without even checking with the GM, proving it was intentional. I eventually got the deal I wanted, but only because I fought for it and because I know to read every line of the contract. I feel sorry for anyone who gets duped by this dealership. Horrible dealership for service. This location is an old bank so the service center isn't even in the building. You drop your car off and they have to drive it to a nearby Hyundai dealership to actually get it serviced. The inside is very cramped for both staff and the waiting room. They really prioritized the space for sales. I took my car in for service at 11am and it wasn't returned to me until 5:40. They had to order some parts which they said would take 3 days, but it took a whole week. When the parts came in, I was told I could come in the next morning for service, so I did exactly that. Turns out the mechanic in charge of my car wasn't in that day so they said I could leave it over the weekend but no guarantee that it would actually get fixed. I took it in today and it was finally fixed, but I dropped it off at 10am and again I had to wait till around 5:30pm to pick it up. Absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say, I am never returning unless I absolutely have to. It would've been nice if I could have been granted a complimentary car wash or some discount on future service, but I didn't even get an apology for the troubles I went through. I was only gifted with the service people's trash in my car, like the plastic seat cover and service tag. I also had a damp rid bag in the trunk that they managed to break somehow and didn't say a word about it, and they forgot to retie down the trunk liner. read more

Yes, we went for an oil change, and tire rotation and balance and spent $248 (First service for brand new car) Highway robbery. One of the worst service experiences I have ever had. I came in with an appointment. It took 4 hours to get an oil change. The coffee machine was broken. The service cost almost $300.00 and my car was returned to me dirty. My service agent did her best but there was clearly a staff shortage and very poor communication. After hours of back and forth, a deal is agreed upon. Went to the dealer for the first oil change and showed them the tire and they said that it was normal. 3k miles after, and the tire is practically destroyed and the rear left tire started to fall apart also (tread chunking). Went to the dealer again and they told me that there was nothing they can do and that I had to take it with Goodyear. These people are selling cars with defective tires and they don't help their customers with these problems. As a dealer, they should reach out to Goodyear and have these issues resolved. Maybe the staff was changed six months ago, but every review for the prior six months has been a negative review. My negative experience was with the management who promised to do something that he lied about. Doral Kia wanted me to purchase a car that had an air-conditioning problem, a knocking noise, and needed brake pads. They refused to fix that car but promised me the car would be sent to the repair shop on Monday. I was advised that if the car cost too much to repair, they would sell it at the auction, but i would be the first to know. Everyone knows that you would never get the same amount of money from an auction that you would get from a person financing a car, my problem is that I never heard anything back to date and that same car 2017 BMW gray 538i Grand Turismo is still online being advertised. Do not go to Doral Kia and do not purchase this car. The service at Doral Kia is horrendous and if you read, any other reviews you will notice the exact same trend on every review platform. They are quick to throw $1500 on the bill to ensure everything is working correctly for the car but looks like it's just fluff and not as "intense" as they say it is. Thankful for management that takes responsibility and puts the customer first. I went in for a recall from a letter I received. Everything went well with my appointment but realized when I got home the porters had forced my key off my keychain and broke it in the process. We called the dealer, spoke to the service assistant manager, Andy, and even though at first they did not want to take responsibility, that later changed. They tried gluing my key back together but in the process the actually ended up cracking the key so they ended having to order a new one. I came back a few days later, they reprogrammed my keys, and I was on my merry way. After all, I was grateful for the service that Andy and Juan provided. They don't do much better with email replies either (very late or not at all). If you get a vehicle from here be very careful since they will not give you any attention after you drive away. Even the lease document they provided on a USB thumb drive was corrupted (unreadable) and I had to ask them to provide another copy... it took over 2 weeks. Do your research online and see that other customers are saying many bad things about their honesty, communications, etc being far from professional. I have left a negative review on other platforms and the manager "responded" to save face and offered for me to contact him... guess what? I emailed him and there was NO response. The only 5 star reviews are because the sales associates beg customers to leave those reviews so that they get an incentive. Now it's time to service it and change the oil, but I do not live in Miami anymore and in order for me to service it in another Kia dealership I have to provide the service agreement so they know who is the issuer and what kind of contract I payed for. I have tried to call Doral dealership many times and the sales people just keep rerouting my calls to each other or to finance department and I always end up getting to the voicemail. I've emailed the manager and finance department asking for the proof of service agreement with no answer. I have also called direct number of the sales person that sold me the car and no answer either. I highly regret choosing this dealership. I just had a great interaction and service at Doral Kia. I have a 2017 Sportage and it had an issue with the AC. When I took it in I found out that there was a recall. They gave me the option to setup an appointment or, if I could wait some 3 to 4 hours, they would fix it today. Doral Kia then had their driver drop me off somewhere close even though they had a clean and comfortable waiting room. And true to their word I got the call on the 3 hour mark. The entire staff were both courteous and professional. Andy and Eylem kept me informed as to the progress while I waited, briefly, for the paperwork. I went to this dealership to trade in my car, and when I left with a car I really liked these weird men called me 8 times in a row to leave a voicemail to have me come back to the dealership stating they forgot to put something in my car, so when I went back and gave them the key, some guy sat me down to try to tell me my car insurance wasn't good enough for me to leave the lot again, under his duress, so he advised me to change my insurance plan and show it to him for a PIP amount he didn't like- which is crazy because you can't tell me what amounts and deductibles you need on your ins to be able to leave the lot. This guy was crazy, trying to convince me to increase my monthly bill because he wasn't happy with the insurance I picked out so I would be allowed to leave the damn place. And I had to get a manager to help me so that I wouldn't be held hostage over my car insurance that this stranger felt entitled to side swipe me with. Awful men. Ontop of that, they stated they would call me so I could come by to pick up my metal plate and instead of doing that they mailed it to half of my address, just decided to skim it and not place my apartment number on the mailing address, because half assing things is what they think is the best. So it couldn't be delivered without an apartment number that I gave them and they ignored. So they refuse to give me a second temporary plastic tag and I won't be able to drive by midnight tonight. They said they'd call me to tell me where the fuck fedex has my plate, but they didn't call me the first time and mailed it to an incomplete address. I can't trust them to be competent at their jobs. If you are a woman alone they will treat you worse than if you bring a man in with you. They truly suck at their only job and they will make your life hard while saying they're helping you. They lied to me about my metal plate, didn't call me to pick it up, and now I won't be able to drive my car until they fix their huge mistake. If i didn't have family and friends to help me get where I need to go, I would be fucked because of hteir idiocy and incompetence.
