They supposedly conducted a multipoint inspection on my car, which I paid for but I was told nothing of the results. Come Monday morning, my car doesn't start due to the battery. Now, if they really inspected the battery during the multipoint inspection they could have caught that and told me and I would have taken care of it that same day; but no. This man didn't check shit and now I'm late to work because of battery issues that could have been prevented if Doral Toyota employees would be competent and care about their customers. These scum are crooks. This was the worst experiences I've ever had buying anything. Firstly, they lied to me about the internet price, trying to tell me a number several thousand dollars higher than a number that was guaranteed online! They also tried to skimp me on my trade in, offering only $500 instead of the Kelly blue book value of $1500 (I fact checked it). After trying to hold me there for 3 hours before financing (a sales tactic to mentally fatigue you), they finally put me with a finance rep and that's when it got really bad. First, he showed a price sheet with only the monthly price and the term, completely lacking transparency. I had to fight this guy for a full price breakdown, and afterwards I saw that he tried to sneak an extra $4000 of extended warranty without saying anything about it!! When I asked him to take it off, which he fought me over, it lowered my MONTHLY payment over $100. After I told him I wanted to walk, he did every scummy thing to keep me there, trying to make me feel stupid for not getting the car. Even worse, I realized they were holding my keys to my old car and didn't want to return them. I had to fight them to get the keys back. The icing on the cake? When I told the manager his guy was a crook they offered me $1000 more on my trade in to try to make the deal happen the whole time they could've done that but they want to nickel and dime you here. Went today for my car maintenance a 2024 bought last year with only 5020 miles only just to find out when I got home and pop the hood that there was not engine coolant added at all eventhought they check on that on the maintenance and also they spilled oil all over the engine block this is really unacceptable for customers See pictures below read more

Very Disappointing Experience at Toyota Doral! I had a very frustrating experience at Toyota Doral that others should be aware of. I was pressured into buying a new car with a very high interest rate and monthly payment that I wasn't comfortable with. I decided to walk out the dealership, and shortly after, a man claiming to be the general manager approached me, saying only he could make any changes to the deal. I took the car home but only kept it one day before deciding that it wasn't the right decision for me. When I returned to the dealership to return it, I was given the runaround. They insisted the car could not be returned and refused to let me speak to a consistent legitimate manager. Each time I asked, I was given a different name. When I confronted the man who had originally claimed to be the general manager about his deception, he had no explanation and appeared flustered. Eventually, the did take the car back, but the experience didn't end there. After returning home, I realized I accidentally left several personal belongings in the car, including expensive Louis Vuitton sunglasses, a coach Mickey Mouse keychain, and other personal items. When I returned the next day to retrieve them, I was told that nothing had been found in the vehicle. I am absolutely 100% certain these items were left inside, and I now believe they were stolen. This entire experience has left me feeling deceived, disrespected and taken advantage of. I hope this review helps others avoid going through the same treatment. read more

This dealership pulled a bait and switch on my elderly father after verbally agreeing not to charge an ADM on top of the vehicle's MSRP. I would know because I was on the phone when they agreed to a price in principle. They got him to sign an initial proposal with those terms, but then brought out a separate proposal that didn't mention the ADM, instead they added it to the vehicle's price and my father signed it choosing to trust the salesman. When he showed me the contract today, I realized what they actually did. This dealership preys on the elderly and handles their business in an unethical manner. I have gotten my attorneys involved and this has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. Do not do business here. read more

What a poor sales/buying experience. I booked an appointment online with one of their reps and they assigned me a sales person. He greeted me in the dealership and asked me what I was there for. I told him I wanted to look at the new RAV4 Hybrid and he comes back with, "why would you want that?!". Not a very good start huh? Then he proceeded to tell me they are really expensive at $50k. I told him I priced one online at $38k and had to show him the factory sticker on the Hybrid in their lot to educate him--what a joke. He then challenged me on further stats, but never talked about the dealership and what they had to offer, nor freely explained the features of the vehicle. I had to keep asking questions to get any information. I'm not sure why they would want a guy like this selling vehicles to the public, as I found it just tiring to deal with him. He presented pricing but didn't explain anything about it. The pricing was very high, even when I asked for it on a non-Hybrid RAV4. Gets an star because no a way to give 0 stars. I did not buy my car there but have been servicing because convenience since near my office. I had my right front tire check because was slowly lossing air pressure since last rotation. The tire pressure monitor would report the right front tire was slowly loosing air after 2 to 3 days of numerous filling ups to recommended 35PSI. The first thing my wife was told is we did not have "TIRE INSURANCE" and will be charged $30.00 for checking /fixing the tire. After 2-3 hours wait they reported there were 2 nails on each front tire. And the right front tire could no be fixed because the damage was on the side wall of the tire but they have fixed the one on the left tire. We never had or reported an issue with that tire. They offered to replace the right front tire with a new one for $282 that could be ordered or one in stock "not the original for arround $180. I refused both offers and requested my tire to be put back. To what I was told that tire would not hold air pressure anymore and the spare tire had to be installed witch I refused and explain my tire was not damaged when brought to the dealer. Some how they managed to put the original tire back and of course would no longer keep the pressure any more. They still charged for "fixing" the left front tire" Next day I requested a meeting with the service manager and was refunded for the total amount charged. Thanks Tony Herrera. To make the story not too long the tire was fixed for $18 at a local tire shop. Totally lost faith on dealer's service. read more

Im sorry but im going to have to back on my 3 star rating and give 2 stars and only because like I said the employees themselves seem like good people but wow! let me explain in a quick way....There was something specific but pretty simple (2 parts) that I needed installed on my car and first this Toyota location was going to install the parts for about $100 on top of a transmission oil change of $300 but instead they did only the transmission oil change and told me that 2 additional parts were missing but If I brought them he would charge me the smae. So I went home and ordered the missing parts through ebay, and then went back here a few days later with 4 parts to install and then this time they gave me some lousy excuse as to why they didnt install the parts but left me with a $360 estimate for the job which of course was put on hold since we never agreed to that price. For something so simple I thought that was an outrageous price so I was about to take my car to a private mechanic until I said let me see if just maybe I can install these parts myself. SURE ENOUGH, it was something I was able to do myself at home on my driveway!!!! Of course it took me about 5 hours to do the whole job since im not a mechanic whatsoever but what I needed done was so simple this TOYOTA place could have done it in 30 minutes NO KIDDING! It was as simple as putting everything in place with clips but it was under the car and I dont have a lift at home like the mechanics do! With a car mechanic lift, this job would have been so easy but there I was for 5-6 hours in the sun struggling to get under the car and get all the clips in the correct position!! it was hard and time consuming, but at the end, it actually came out almost perfect and it feels good that I did it myself and didnt have to give these guys $360!!! Oh yea and the first 2 parts that I initially took to have installed, COULD have easily been installed without the 2 additional parts they had me buy! (Although, I did also need these 2 more parts and didnt realize it) I felt like I could trust this place with car repairs since they are a technically a dealership so they feel trustworthy but I would definitely steer clear of this place. Im already thinking about where Im gonna start getting my oil changes from now on....I dont even wanna come back to this place. read more

I've been coming to this dealership since I bought my car 8 years ago. I had a good experience when I shopped for my car. Now when it comes to the customer service since I've been taking my car to service has been really horrible or really wonderful never in the middle. For about 2-3 years I had many bad experiences with my service guy that the last incident that occurred was very inappropriate that I had no choice but to report him to his service director. The only reason I'm not going in to details about it is because after that I was never assigned to him again. After that I've had the pleasure to work with service rep Chris (nice) and currently I've been working with Robert Perez who has been the best one suited for me. He is patient at explaining everything, he listens to my concerns and questions, and always available. I'm really happy with him, he gives me the customer service I look forward to. This year I've had 2 last minute emergencies that he has been able to assist me immediately. I have to say when it comes to how my car is treated - I've never had an issue. My car is ALWAYS cared to the best. Yes, it might be a more expensive but you have the assurance and guarantee the car will be fixed and if for whatever reason is not you can bring it back without extra cost. One thing they need to work on is the communication when the customer pays and the keys are handed to someone to bring your car. Many times I've witnessed and experienced confusion and delay when the customer is wandering around who is bringing the car, who has the keys, etc. Also, I think they should automatically pass the car through the washer after being serviced instead of the customer reminding them and waiting another 5-7min when it could've been done from the beginning. read more

Brought my vehicle to Doral Toyota for a routine oil change and tire rotation. When the service adviser told me the vehicle was done, I was informed the TPMS light was malfunctioning and would stay on. Weird because it was fine before service. When I got home I checked the tire pressure and 3 tires were low enough to set off the sensor and the 4th was over full. I correctly adjusted the tire pressure in all tires and the light went off. I decided to check the oil because now I'm concerned. The oil is overfull and there is oil spilled all over the side and bottom of the engine. I do not want to take it back to them and I'm afraid to drive it. The inspection states no leaks but the engine is covered in oil. I don't think they changed the oil, filter, or rotate. Just top it off reset the service light and charge me for it. read more

She provided our first quote, which is not easy to get by email, as most dealerships pressure you to visit before providing any numbers. We have 2 small kids which makes our time very limited. Let's face it...everyone's time is limited. We knew exactly which car we wanted and we did not need financing. After communicating by email with many Toyota dealerships in South Florida, we chose Doral Toyota based on price and good service from the internet specialist. The exact model and color we wanted to purchase had a small scratch so they needed to transfer the same type of car from another location. This took a few days. There were some minor delays with receiving car and keys but we communicated to management and was corrected quickly. read more

I stopped in here after my recently purchased car (from another Toyota dealership) had a flat tire. I was in the area and figured I would take it to a Toyota dealership to get it fixed. A Yelp search showed Doral Toyota was fairly close by so I called the service department. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and they said no, just bring it right in. The service department is well marked with signage to point you where you need to go when you pull into the dealership. From there I found a fairly confusing parking que in which many other cars were in. After getting some direction from a service adviser I parked. I found several people waiting by their cars after parking which I figured the service adviser would come by in turn. That's not the case, go into one of the service adviser offices to get the ball rolling so to speak. Once I figured that out I was checked in and advised costs of repair vs replace and approximate time it would take. They also looked at the vehicles history and found it needed a 20,000 mile check up. The service adviser asked if I had had it done and, having only been in possession of the car I figured it had been done before the purchase was complete. No record of it though so they went ahead and did that as well. I wanted to wander around and find a restaurant/coffee shop or something to help ease the wait time and make it at least a bit more pleasant but was told I probably shouldn't walk in the area as there are no sidewalks and it's quite busy. Fair enough. So I waited in the waiting room. It's quite large with quite a few people waiting on their cars. You'll find lots of TVs that are mostly on Spanish TV channels (it's South Florida of course) but that didn't help me as I don't speak much Spanish. I managed to distract myself for the hour and a half it took to repair the tire and perform the 20,000 mile service. Once called you go and pay at the counter and are offered a car wash. Nice little touch. I didn't want it washed as it was already clean. The service advisers are helpful and didn't try to sell me on any additional services and were able to repair the tire. All in all not a bad experience but they could use a more comfortable waiting area. The coffee shop/deli in the service area was closed for rennovation so that didn't help pass the time either. Other then the awkward service que process I was relatively satisfied with the experience. read more

I'm in the market for a new Prius and walked into this dealership hoping to see the available Prius models on the lot. The salesperson who can barely speak English told me that the only model was the car on the showroom floor. I asked him again, whether there were other Prius' outside? And he said no this is the only vehicle that they had. Not believing him, I returned to my car and called the Internet department and they confirmed that there were other models outside and arranged to have someone else meet me. There was no haggling, no bait and switch and most importantly everything promised was delivered. Gretel Santana was able to get the exact car I was interested in from the factory which was a time consuming task, due to the current state of the market, but she persisted and came through for me! The transparency was unbelievable and I whole heartedly recommend both Nicole and Gretel to anyone who is in the car market.
