    Large Fish Sandwich

We were in town- craving a good fish sandwich and Dorido's never disappoints. Lightly fried and seasoned well, it's enough fish to make a few sandwiches. You can't go wrong.

    Fish and shrimp platter

We have known about this place for years but have only been here once and that was many years ago. We went there last night and let me tell you. It was very busy but luckily we got a booth right away. Our server came over and took our drink order. Everything was quick and efficient. They kept things moving. The French onion soup was among the best we've had. I had the fish and shrimp platter. Delish and my husband had the half rack of ribs and they were fall off the bone. We will definitely put this in our rotation.

    Crabcake stuffed cod

Came in for a late lunch on a weekday... Service was acceptable... Menu is loaded with seafood, burgers, and bar bite types of food. Tried their crab cake stuffed cod and it was more of a crabcake on top of a filet of cod which seemed to be broiled, but the crabcake wasn't completely cooked on the inside, but the cod was definitely done. Cole slaw was decent. Greek salad dressing was really good. If I ever go back, I'll definitely try some other menu items.

Food OK service good but they stand outside at front door and smoke. Ruin your experience before you come in establishment. Disgusting!

Food was ok...waiter needs an attitude adjustment. If u can't handle working with the public, then find another line of work.

Great food but service was spotty at best. Had to go looking for our server to get drink refills, dessert and to pay our tab.

Good food. The service however is confused and for the 2'nd time in a row just inept.

We couldn't wait to get back to Elrama Tavern!…read more Even though I told myself I'd try something new, I caved (zero regrets) and ordered the Picklesburgh flatbread again. If you're a pickle lover, this is an absolute must- pickles under the cheese and fried pickles on top... it's next-level good!! The Tavern's Mustard Chicken sandwich was also delicious, loaded with roasted red peppers, bacon, and lemon pepper aioli that really pulls it all together. And the onion rings? Cooked to perfection....crispy, not greasy, exactly how they should be! Service was friendly and fast, which made the whole experience even better. They had Penn Sarris Chocolate Peanut Butter beer on tap, and wow--seriously yum. Definitely grab it before it's gone! Bonus points for not charging that annoying 3% credit card fee. That alone deserves a thank you Already looking forward to our next visit!

Elrama Tavern - A Legendary Comeback Worth Celebrating…read more Elrama Tavern has always been one of those hidden gems--years ago, it might not have looked like much from the outside, but those of us who knew it understood: the food was absolutely amazing, and the drinks were just as impressive. It quickly became a go-to spot for us, the kind of place you return to again and again because it never lets you down. Unfortunately, like many longtime fans, I remember the heartbreak when the tavern burned down over two years ago. It was a sad day, not just because of the building, but because we lost a local treasure filled with memories and good times. But here's the good news: Elrama Tavern is back--and better than ever. They've rebuilt from the ashes, and the new space looks incredible. You can feel the love, resilience, and pride that went into bringing this place back to life. This was my first time grabbing food from here in years, and even though it was just a pickup order, it felt like a homecoming. I snapped a few photos, chatted with the friendly woman at the counter, and was told that the downstairs dining area is absolutely stunning--something I can't wait to experience firsthand when we return for lunch soon. I'm beyond happy for the team at Elrama Tavern. They've come full circle, and we're lucky to have them back in the community. Can't wait to sit down next time and enjoy the full experience all over again. Welcome back, Elrama--you were missed, and you came back strong.

Great service, great food, semi-kid friendly…read more The food was really good. Definitely some of the best Italian in the area. Just recently heard about this place but I guess they have been around for a while. Ended up getting the vodka pasta that was on special, great flavor on the sauce. Got the saltimbocca as well which was phenomenal. They had highchairs for the kids but it appeared that there was not a kids menu. But the portions were pretty big so plenty to share. My only negative comment is that we went on an extremely hot day and their AC was not working very good so it made it difficult to enjoy the food while we were sweating. Still rating a 5 overall because that is temporary and something that has already probably been rectified.

We ordered several appetizers, the zucchini, saltimboca, arancini, and zucchini frite, which you cannot find anywhere else in Pittsburgh these days. Entrées ranged from seafood medley with Virginia spots, shrimp, and scallops to a house, special of chicken and eggplant Parmesan, to ravioli to chicken piccata. No complaints from anyone, basically everyone raved about the food. The house salad with white French and the wedding soup competed with each other for best starter. BYOB! Two people took dessert home, and we all had bags of leftovers. Outstanding!
