Shockingly bad service. Ordered a head board for a bed that has decorative nail heads around the entire front border of the Unit. They were all rusted with the rust running and staining the canvas on the head board. They refuse to give a refund or authorize a return/replacement. I ordered two head boards for my daughter and her roommate in June. It would take 4-5 weeks. It is August 11, she moves in today. We ordered pillows and a duvet cover from this company because the college recommended it. It was my fault that I didn't coordinate with my friend to whom I had the items shipped, but found out right after ordering that they would be away when the pillows were being delivered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted UPS right away to ask them to change the date of the order, but because I had shipped to a third party, they said that only the shipping company could change things.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That's when things got extremely frustrating. I ordered a dresser for my daughter's dorm for Christmas and since she wasn't going to school until the following spring we unfortunately did not open the package immediately sadly (we assumed it would be a quality item, our bad) When we began to assemble the product the first thing we noticed was that the parts bad had been opened and then sealed together with tape. Upon further inspection one of the bars were also bent and one of the pieces of the back of the dresser was broken in half. It was clear to us that this had been a returned item and no one inspected it they just resold it. Ordered snack packs for my college student and paid $250 and only received 1 box, which had expired food. They refuse to refund you for boxes that you do not receive. You're better off building a box and mailing it yourself and save yourself the headache dealing with this company that has zero customer service. I got the bundle, the quality of everything is bad, the color choices are dull for how pricey it is, nothing is soft or cozy like you would expect. it's way overpriced. my back hurts after sleeping on their mattress. all my roommates spent way less (they bought foam mattress toppers) and their beds are so cozy. be cautious of anything bought in a bundle because nothing beats you going out and choosing what you want and think is cozy. Beware of this company! I ordered a series of care packages from them and my student only received two of the four. I went round and round with their customer service after finding out that THEY unilaterally changed my daughter's shipping address and, once I contacted them, they refused to change it back so her packages that I prepaid for would reach her. Overall, very unhappy with their customer service and the fact that I paid for items that never made it. read more

Like most of these reviews I would not recommend this company. Package was not delivered to the SPECIFIC address that was given. Delivered it in bulk to the university and dormify could not track it down. I made many phone callls and it was 3 weeks late. Impossible to talk to a human and did not hold themselves accountable. I opened up sheet set to wash before packing to leave from FL to NJ in 2 days and this is the condition of the sheets they sent me. Stained in multiple places. I ordered products for my son's dorm on July 12 from dormroom.com which is affiliated with dormyfy. the website says it takes 2 to 3 days to process. I was getting nervous because I did not hear from them and it was getting closer to my son's move-in date. I emailed them several times and I got a lot of automated emails back. Theres no phone number to call. They finally sent me an email on my son's move in date and said your items have been delivered. Since I didn't hear from them until that day, I had to order from Amazon three days prior. And received the items. 2 days later at his dorm. I definitely would never order from them again, and I would tell anyone who is looking for items for their kids dorm to order from Amazon. Do not order from dormroom.com or dormyfy. 2 separate times I tried to cancel an order realizing that it would not fit in my daughters dorm room. I did what the website said and texted a number with my request. They got back to me and said it couldn't be cancelled because it was already shipped. Then one week later I got an email saying they were shipping my item. Dormify has no customer service at all. It is actually impossible to contact anyone at this company. If you have a problem you cannot reach them by phone, no ever answers, by text, no one ever responds...live chat isn't even a thing. They will email a general response after many days. I have been trying to get a credit for my return since June and it is August. I am out over $300 and don't know if there is any chance I will ever see the credit I was promised. Suggest using Target, Pottery Barn...or literally any other company that you can get a hold of someone at. Has taken way too much of my time to try to get my site credit and still nothing read more

I submitted an order on dormify.com over a month ago and finally received my order today and it is the wrong color. I tried to call them and they are not taking any calls, I have tried to text them about this order and received no response. What a joke of a company. Waited patiently for 7 weeks to be able to install a hutch in my daughter's dorm only to have to be told we would have to wait another month??!! The preorder date literally changed 4 times. Why would a company have an item pre-ordered if they cannot control when it will be delivered? Show some respect to your customers. The quality is very cheap! I ordered a 4 tier white rolling cart and it's very flimsy wire. The shelves don't fit properly and it will not stay put together. I contacted dormify to help and it's been over a week with no resolution. Also ordered an over the door hanging organizer. Fabric was thin and flimsy. Poor quality for the price paid. Horrible experience. Dormify double billed my credit card and sent me a duplicate order. When I attempted to return the duplicate for a refund they told me I had to pay the $78.00 shipping cost to return items I never purchased in the first place. I visited the pop up shop last year with my mom the first week of August and it was awesome the girl who helped us was incredibly mature even though she was just two years older. I decided to go back again this year with my roomate because it was so easy last year. We walk in for our apt and no one greets us so I finally go up to a girl and ask what we should do. She completely disregards me and my friend and tells us to look around. There were about 8 girls just sitting around doing nothing. Finally two girls come up to us and basically tell us everything is sold out. "It is awesome for us but not good for you." Why would u let me drive into the city pay for parking and my friend come all the way from ct to be disregarded and told everything is sold out.
