Today the female employee refused and said you only get a small milk with the box of joe. After spending $300 in two weeks at a Dunkin I would expect a little customer service. Needless to say, I will not give Dunkin any of my business and have informed all staff members that they may not get milk with their coffee due to this locations lack of customer service. I said that that was fine and she muttered under her breath as she went to pour new coffees. I will not be returning because of this lady. PS donuts were stale.

I will continue to restate everything until my point is across. Theres an obvious trend the ratings are either really good, or really awful (two extremes). That already should already notify one of how inconsistent and unreliable this bakery is. --- DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BAKERY --- I am a former worker at La Bonne Boulangerie. I have physically witnessed everything behind the counters. I am writing this to warn others what they are actually paying thousands of dollars for. First of all the management is extremely poor and unsophisticated. The organization is awful. The conditions conducive to maintaining health is poor. The store is notorious for its unwelcoming environment. 1. I worked there for roughly a year. Donnie, my boss, seems to be a kind guy at first but his true intentions were revealed after a while. I had to hunt him down for my paychecks. His "every friday" paycheck schedule is all a lie. One, has to hunt the man down as he hides him self and hops in the back from Messina market to red tomato pizzeria. 2. He is not considerate at all although he may seem so. He yelled at me once from kindly putting a man on hold because I couldn't find a pen around me to take the mans order. He said "its unprofessional of you." Meanwhile, as he is setting a bread platter, he gathers the fresh slices of bread against HIS SHIRT. Keep in mind as he was preparing the bread platter he was constantly touching his phone (It is known that all cellphones are extremely dirty). 3. Angela, the seemingly "sweet" manager is the total opposite. The first day of training I was given such a nasty attitude by her. I didn't feel welcomed at all. I simply felt like a slave as she was bossing me around from one customer to another (Now, I understand I was new to the job, but there is certainly a kinder way of training someone) 4. Her hygiene, especially her daughters, is awful. Ive caught her numerous of times plucking her teeth and then rearranging the pound cake tray with the unwashed hand. She constantly uses her phone during hours and then touches the pasteries. Her daughter helps out periodically, she is not clean either. 5. I remember selling an individual tart to a poor old woman and I noticed a strand of hair in-between the tart. I, subtly, showed my manager (EXPECTING SHE'D THROW IT AWAY) and she just ripped the hair, leaving the other half still in the tart. I was utterly shocked and felt extremely guilty for selling the old woman the tart. 6. There was a cockroach laying upside down on the crumb cake tray wiggling its legs. I don't remember who exactly, but a member of the bakery took the cockroach wiped it off of the tray and left the remaining pieces of crumb cake back on display. I don't understand how approximately $3 worth of crumb cakes is more important than the customers health. 7. I remember the very first day of working my boss said it is not necessary to wear gloves, as long as the customers are not looking. now, being the hygienist I am, I ALWAYS made sure to put on gloves. Its absolutely disgusting. 8. Angela is so moody, based on my experience. She always gives her co-workers nasty attitudes for no reason, including myself. It seemed like she really hated her job especially when every time she had to do a long tedious cake order she would purposely charge the person more for NO REASON. I was also told this by other co-workers, so it was not only me that picked up on her patterns. MORAL: If one wants to pay the genuine price of a cake order ask Maggie not Angela. 9. Another girl, worked for FOUR days (16 hours) and was not paid a penny because apparently she was still "training" thats ridiculous and essentially is considered child labor 10. One of the bakers in the back picked up 4 muffins off of the dirty floor and placed it right back into the tray for the next day. It should be understood how many people can get sick because of that stupid action. Its not a joke putting your customers lives at his?. NOW, again, being the hygienist, I threw the dirty muffins in the garbage. Do not buy anything from this bakery. read more

We were having a Bridal Shower for my daughter and her favorite cake is Red Velvet, no problem right ? ...WRONG!! I called no less than 5 bakeries and none could help. Two told me they only make Red Velvet cupcakes and the others would only sell larger cakes than what we needed (which was a 10" round, good for 20 people) because that was "the only pan sizes they had." You can imagine how gratified I was when I call La Bonne Boulangerie and they said "No problem!" I had a choice of design, colors, everything. When I picked up the cake, it was so very pretty, and delicious!" The only hiccup being it was not completely ready to go even though I arrived to pick it up an hour later than I was scheduled to. They personalized it, I was out the door, and it was both beautiful in presentation, moist, rich and delicious! As my rating of this bakery says, I am a Fan! Wanted to give the lowest possible rating. But only one star was available. I have found their name from google and wanted to deliver pastries to a nearby location. A woman working over there was rude and nasty. At first she said they would deliver and then she changed her mind. Another lady told me she has the pastries and we can come pick it up. Have used them on two separate occasions and each time I was extremely happy with how the cake came out. Their canolli cream filling is tasty along with chocolate ganache. I've only been to the one in port jeff. If you're looking for something last minute items, this isn't the best place. But if you know in advance and can call in an order or call to see if they have what you're looking for then you'll be a happy customer. The staff always seems a little frantic. read more
