HOLY MOLY! I am blown away by how great this place is! The seafood is so fresh, the customer service is amazing, and the prices are totally worth it. We got two fish tacos, one shrimp taco, prepared oysters, and Mariscada Fria, and I can honestly say this has been the best seafood I've had in 2026! Let's start with the oysters. Out of this world delicious! We got the prepared ones, which came with a green sauce on top of a raw oyster, topped with ceviche and avocado. It already had the perfect amount of flavor, but we added a little love with lime and the black sauce on the table too. They were also very clean to eat. I've had oysters before with that gritty texture, and these had none of that. The fish tacos!! I could cry! The tortilla wasn't too thick to overpower the taco, the fish's batter was perfect (not too much...you could still taste the fish), and the sauce on top? Yum! My husband got the shrimp taco and said the sauce was so tasty, clean, and well balanced. Then the Mariscada Fria, a mix of octopus, fish, shrimp, imitation crab, abalone, avocado, and pickled onions. All so great and so refreshing. I would absolutely come back and am already planning to bring family soon. The server, she was so attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself isn't very large, but it's very clean, and you could tell everyone who walked in was a regular, she knew them all by name. I love this place! read more

This was my third time visiting this establishment. The first two times, I ordered the shrimp quesadilla with extra cheese and it was a solid 10/10--I'm a big cheese lover, and it delivered every time. Today, I decided to try something new and ordered two asada tacos along with my usual shrimp quesadilla, but this time without extra cheese since that option wasn't available online. Unfortunately, they only provided one salsa for two dishes, which was disappointing. The tacos were mid and definitely needed a sauce or salsa. They weren't terrible, but not good enough for me to order again. The meat was also very chewy. As a Mexican food lover who's had great asada tacos elsewhere, I'd rate these about a 5/10. The shrimp quesadilla is $18 before tax and comes pretty skimpy on the cheese unless you pay extra, which feels unreasonable given the price. Overall, this is still a decent spot, just a bit overpriced and based on what I tried this time, only average. read more

I was already down there and not super hungry but I was craving ceviche for later in the day. I came in and was greeted kindly. Place was bright and clean. Great staff. I ordered 2 carne asada quesatacos. They had them listed as gobenador tacos which is usually shrimp but hey I'm eating these tacos no matter what they're called. Served some lovely warm chips and salsa while waiting. Food came out and these were great size! Super fresh . Well seasoned . Ooey gooey cheesy goodness. Great salsa to pour over and goes great with my El yucateca that I carry with me everywhere! Between the chips and loaded taco I was too full for the second. Took it home and my mom, may she rest in peace, loved it. Sad I didn't get a chance to take her here. Had the ceviche later the evening and dolled up my tostada with mayo el yucateca at the base, topped the tostada with the fish, sliced avocado and Marisco hot sauce and makes a perfect bite!!!! I came here to order their fish tacos . They took my order and I waited and waited and waited.Finally after an hour I went to ask what's going on , they said it was a long wait, DUH !! I finally sat down after an hour and was promptly served . I'm not familiar with there line waiting , but they need to fix it . Maybe they should go to Manuel's El Tepayec in Boyle Heights . This spot is in the same plaza as my dentist's office, and it's taken the same spot over from what used to be a Thai then later a birreria restaurant. We wanted ceviche and shrimp cocktail or cocktel de camaron. Busy for a Saturday afternoon , and we waited a while for food to arrive. Good thing they served chips and salsa while we waited. They served a cucumber and lemon agua fresca ($5.99 each). I misunderstood and thought it was a plain glass of water with sliced lemon and cucumber. I got myself a lemon margarita- it came in a glass that was much smaller than the menu photos- icy and blended, served with a paper umbrella. A nice little drink. I had the shrimp and crab tostada - not a lot of seasoning on it but it was fine after a squeeze of lime and some hot sauce from the coctel. Also wedges of avocado went well with it. The torre mariscos was a very large serving: piled with octopus, squid, clams and shrimp; dressing made with dark chilies and a lot of citrusy dressing. I would have preferred less clam flavor - it muddied the otherwise firm texture and briny taste. Tacos made with potatoes and shrimp were fried crisp and served with a spicy mayo dip. Coctel de Camaron was a little on the sweet side but also great after adding lime and hot sauce. Kids menu was French fries plus battered fried fish sticks. Up ate a lot of the fries. Toddler needed rice - they served it with some corn mixed in. Its flavor was also fine. Smallish place with a large TV playing music videos. Total was a bit surprising but reasonable for the food quality. Will have to return and try the whole fish and molcajete entrees. read more

Was recently in the area and decided to try this place out since I love mariscos. We went on a weekday during lunch time, there was only one other party there. We were immediately greeted and were given the option to choose where we'd like to sit. We were provided with the menus, our drink order was taken, and were quickly given chips and salsa. The chips and salsa were delicious! For food, we tried their tostada de aguachile and their mojarra frita. Everything was soo good. The tostada was more than enough for me as it comes in a bowl with tostadas on the side. We also tried their Jamaica which was okay. I think it was a bit watered down for my liking. Amazing! It was our first visit and we will be back. The restaurant is very cleaned and maintained. It was self seating and the service was quick and very professional. The food was crazy good. My favorite was the prepared oysters. They were fresh and the toppings were great in combination with the oysters. We also had the seafood tower and ceviche which were great as well. The pozole is very good too for those not interested in the seafood. The kids menu included fries and chicken nuggets for our picky eater. *Bonus point for clean restroom. I was going to get the papa/camaron tacos but they were out of Papas :/ only wbu I'm giving it 4 starts, hopefully I can come back and try the papa/camaron tacos. I have been to this place before and the food along with the service was amazing. Sad to say I went today and while the service was still amazing I was not happy with the food. Ordered the potato/shrimp tacos and several things were not right. First the tortillas were so over fried that it was harder than a tostada. Then one of the tacos was only a half with a few pieces of shrimp and if there was potato in there I didn't even see it. Supposedly there was cheese in the tacos also. The other taco was a whole over fried tortilla shell along with a few pieces of shrimp and no potato or cheese. I also got a shrimp cocktail mind you a large for $20 and the shrimp was not clean. The grittiness of it (like eating dirt) was not pleasant. The only thing worth eating was the fish taco that was on special today. It was only $2.50 but everything came out to $38. The shrimp soup wasn't good, sorry. Had to add spice to it and even that wasn't enough. The base was obviously tomato, very much tomato. Tomato was the only thing I could taste from it.
