This review is for their happy hour. I've been to their happy hour twice now. Love their food choices! When we first arrived, they did ask if we had reservations which we did not. They offered my friend a complimentary margarita and had us wait in the outdoor lounge area. This part I didn't understand why we had to wait so long (when there were plenty of tables) but maybe they didn't have enough staff in whatever sections idk. But then we got seated and our server was great. I love their appetizer flight because you try diff things!

Came to have an early dinner at Flecha. First time trying flecha and was quite impressed. I was either extremely hungry or the food was just that good. Was served by a very friendly and welcoming server named Alexis. She brought out chips and salsa to start. Salsa was roasted and was pretty tasty. We ordered a simple guacamole and two street taco trios from the happy hour menu. Mine were all chicken and hubby's were carnitas, pork belly, and chicken. All the meats were very yummy. We later ordered the chicken taquitos. Hubby liked them I thought they were ok. Restaurant interior is pretty nice and decorative. Bathrooms are well kept. We will definitely come by flecha again.

My husband took me to Flecha Cantina for their Sunday brunch as part of our Mother's Day celebration. The brunch included unlimited mimosas for $50 per person, although I overheard it is normally $45 on regular Sundays. I accidentally made my reservation for Monday instead of Mother's Day Sunday at 11:00am, but the staff was very accommodating and still allowed us to be seated at the bar area. We came with our baby, so it was a little challenging since the high chair sat lower than the bar seating. They had a wide variety of food options including prime rib, ham, omelettes, tacos, quesadillas, chilaquiles, premade mole, and pozole. The tacos and quesadillas were pretty good. The prime rib was decent, although it was sliced very thinly. There was also a large dessert selection, and they even had cotton candy available which added a fun touch to the brunch experience. Overall, the ambiance was lively and enjoyable with plenty of food options to choose from. Great spot for brunch if you're looking for variety and a festive atmosphere.

On a recent visit to Flecha we had excellent food but terrible service. We went on a Monday night around 7pm and the place had a small crowd but plenty of open tables and plenty of staff working. Initially things looked promising service side but quickly got bad. The server failed to be attentive to anything we had ordered. Our initial drink orders still hadn't arrived by the time main entrees were being served. On top of that half our table got their meals while the other half had to wait an additional ten minutes for their food. This definitely falls on the sever for not paying attention to her tables especially when the food runners are bringing out the meal. Once they noticed the error they definitely started trying to correct which is why I'm giving four stars instead of three. The food was also amazing which is the other reason for our higher rating. We will be back to give them another chance. Hopefully this was just a one off with the one particular server we had.

Had a nice experience in here today. Tried the churro french toast and it was very delicious. Service was great and it was very well put together especially it being brunch sunday. 10/10

My First Visit Was On Saturday, 4/18. It Happened To Be The Last Day Of The Margarita Crawl. The Location Of The Restaurant Is At Bella Terra & Took The Place Of Puesto. When I Checked In For My Reservation With The Young Male At The Front Desk, He Had No Clue About The Margarita Crawl!! WoW!!! The Service Of The Main Male Server Was Mediocre. Didn't Seem As If He Wanted To Be There. I Chose The 'Margarita Crawl' Deal - Three Street Tacos (Any Available Protein) With A Watermelon Margarita For $24!! The Carne Assada Was Pretty Decent.

You gotta love a place that hands you a margarita as you enter. A little alcohol to start the fun. We were given their new peach margaritas to try. Reminds me more of a mimosa without the bubbles. Girl drink drunk without a hint of tequila taste. Flecha Cantina is the result of a partnership between Flecha tequila and Markie Mark. It's upscale chefy Mexican inspired food. It's not the food an abuelita would cook in a little hole-in-the-wall. It's what you'd expect at a Mexican resort. It's gringo for sure- the heat level never exceeds one on a scale of ten. We went with a large group and there were serval large groups there that night. This is something they are very prepared for. The front of house really are excellent here. You are greeted and accommodated all the time. A very special shoutout to our waitress Gina who was lot of fun while doing an excellent job of serving our big party.

I can't believe I let a few years go by before trying this place. I love great Mexican cuisine with some style thrown in, and Flecha checks those boxes. We went for brunch before a movie and after devouring the chips and salsa (5 stars!), both my partner and I went with Benedicts. When in a Mexican restaurant, GET THE CHORIZO!! Perfect flavor without being too spicy, perfectly poached eggs--loved every bite. My partner had the smoked salmon and it wasn't what he was expecting--it was warm flaked salmon and didn't have any smokiness to it. Skip this in favor of other meats! Vibe comes down to preference. I loved the green and black ambience. All the little details were classy and upscale. Music was a little loud for brunch but it put me in a good mood. Others in my party weren't fans. Our server Bryan was awesome--he made it a great hospitality experience.

Tried this spot for the first time this past Friday for a date night with my husband. The ambiance and vibe is really nice. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. You're greeted with a welcome margarita sample which is really nice and sets the tone for a good time. Service was slow (our server apologized several times for this) but we weren't in a hurry. The drinks were tasty! The food was ok, although it did have nice presentation. I'm knocking off 1 star because of the food. The soup was delicious and the salsa that came with the chips was great. The birria and mole enchiladas were meh. Maybe other menu items are great but for the price and what we did try, I wouldn't go back for dinner. However, I would go back for drinks! And I would give happy hour a try. If you want really good Mexican food, I'd go elsewhere. If you want a great atmosphere for drinks, I recommend!

If I could leave this place10 stars, I would. We've come for brunch several times now, and I think it's the best deal in town. For $45/person, the selection of food is fantastic (personally, I love the menudo soup!). The service from the staff is always fantastic, and we are always greeted warmly. Today we came with our families and our server, Jose Antonio, was great. Our glasses were always full and the guacamole ($20, à la carte) was great. I highly recommend making reservations because there is always a line at the door.

Just had my birthday dinner here and everything was amazing! Exceptional service, the food's presentation and flavor was amazing. Drinks were delicious! Everyone left happy and satisfied with this place. Great service is unfortunately not common these days and they go above and beyond here to make you feel comfortable and accommodated. Thank you for making my birthday extra special!

I've been here a few times now, and it's been consistently good every visit. You're welcomed with a margarita, which is a super nice touch! . The staff is super attentive without being overbearing and makes you feel genuinely taken care of. The food is solid and flavorful, and the drinks are really good. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking for good service, good drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

The atmosphere could have been cool, but every 5 minutes the bright hallway light blasted through the western-style swinging door and completely ruined the dark speakeasy vibe. The drinks were tiny and overpriced. We ordered two Old Fashioneds and the giant ice cubes took up almost the entire glass. Larger than a normal square ice cube- a little taller. But it seriously felt like they split one drink into two. Barely a shot in each glass, and the cocktails themselves were just so-so. Very syrup-y flavor. I was lucky enough to stumble across this gem of the center of OC when they first opened - and I am proud to be a regular here. I don't know how to go somewhere else - because I feel like the staff are giant gems in this jewel of a spot. Winters is a curator of boozy information that has helped me learn about "gin" and "root beer whiskey" so I can sound like an adult-ish purveyor, when really I know close to nothing except being a willing student to his creations. Dan the Man and Jacob always see me raise my hand in the corner of the bar, like the student I am, and have been willing to fill in the blanks for me when I know I am of thirst, but do not have the words for what to order. Every person working in the well has treated me with kindness - they have taken the time to get to know me, and I will be forever appreciative of how they have taken care of me over the years. But the real joy has been the transformation that this spot has for building a community of people in Santa Ana for real recognizing real. I have been bringing my Dad with me to play pool for the past few years. Sometimes people ask me if he plays professionally, I am terrible, and my skill incline is slow, he is patient and plays with the same level craftiness that the staff offer the cocktails. My Dad is always stoked when we have time to go have a few hours of games at 616 - especially now that there are regulars on 4th street that are excited to see that he is there playing - and they rush to write their names on the chalkboard to challenge him - or beat him in a game they really earned the W. On lazy Sundays, I watch couples sit with their drink, listening to Jazz, and watching my Dad whoop my ass while making amazing shots. I am forever grateful to Memo who sometimes takes a break from his shift behind the bar to give my dad an actual challenge - which allows me the chance to watch my Dad enjoy fellowship around the table. Knowing the table was a relic of the bars former self, and knowing the history that this spot has in Santa Ana is a reminder that so much around us can change - but it is those moments of the crack of the rack, the cheer of getting the combo shot, and the shake of hands when it's over that shows that it's not just about the pool table - but about the energy of a place that is welcoming and curated by people who care about what they do - and care about who comes through their doors. Thank you Jason and Mike B to bringing this to 4th St and supporting the community that was already here - and for building a community for the future. Thank you to Christina and Brandon for always having amazing pictures, decor, and fun events at 616 that help introduce new folks into this great spot. Time is short. Learn about Root Beer Whiskey. Even though I could see she was busy with other, larger tables. And she reminded me since my items were raw, I should refrigerate them asap. That was so sweet, she didn't have to care what happened after we left lol and I know people want to hear about food in a review, but great service makes such a difference! The thing about the ambiance, everyone was there celebrating, and happy, it made it such a happy dinner. There were birthdays, and friends sharing plates, family style. It was just heart warming. Now food and drinks: I ordered a lychee martini, not on the menu, and then another martini, both were perfectly balanced. We had the infamous bread and honey appetizer, which was phenomenal! The meatballs. Which, my only qualm was, I wish they brought a cheese grater, but that's me, I love too much cheese lol I had the carpaccio, which was amazingly balanced. It could be intimate and romantic for couples but also great for celebrations or large groups. I enjoyed sonder very much and will definitely visit again particularly due to their excellent service!

My daughter recommended this restaurant for a pre-Mother's Day dinner because she had been here for…read moredrinks at the bar when they first opened and really liked the ambiance. We came with reservations on Saturday night before Mother's Day. The first thing I thought when I walked in was that there was a live band playing with bad speakers because the music was so loud. But when I saw there was no band, I thought maybe their speakers were broken because the music had that scratchiness to it. Then I realized it was a DJ spinning vinyls with foreign music from the 1950's with that scratchy vintage sound on full blast (think shrill trumpets and shrill voices.) Now don't get me wrong, the music was wonderful and very unique ( again, a lot of foreign songs) with a few I even knew...my husband and I loved most of the songs that were played. HOWEVER not when it's so loud that we can't even hear our own thoughts! I felt annoyed within the first 5 minutes of being seated when my family and I had to keep repeating ourselves, and my husband even went to check the rest of the place to see if it was any quieter anywhere else, but it was blaring music everywhere. I ended up ordering for my whole table of 8 people because we couldn't even hear each other over the music to make suggestions on what to order. My adult kids (all in their 20's) kept apologizing for recommending this place for my mother's day dinner. But oh my, the food was delicious---practically everything I ordered was amazing! OMG the hangar steak skewers, pork belly skewers, iberico pork secreto steak, little gem salad, and their bread with goatmilk -butter were my faves! We also had the short ribs and the pork fried rice with prawns but they were mid...nothing to write home about. This would've been a great place to come have a drink at the bar for happy hour or even late at night on a weekend since they open until 1am on thursday, friday, saturday... but don't come for dinner unless you bring earplugs and learn sign language or know how to read lips because there will be no conversations over dinner unless it's just to the person sitting next to you. Even so, I noticed the young couple next to us looking very annoyed-- they got up and left after quickly finishing up their one cocktail while the speakers blared out an instrumental piece of a girl moaning the whole time until she climaxed. Heck---I'll have whatever SHE'S having lol So plz keep the music down several notches until after 10pm, and let the rest of us enjoy our dinner so that we can sing praises on how delicious everything was. Until you do, I think I'll cross this place off my list for now and revisit again sometime in the FAR future.
