Crispy chicken taco with some salsa on it.
    Randy M.

I am surprised they do not have a higher rating. I have eaten at locations in Folsom, near Sac State and this location all more than once. Food is consistent, good and staff is always friendly. Love the salsa bar and for the price I think it is a good deal. I typically get shrimp tacos or like tonight crispy chicken al a cart.

Specifically asked for a tortilla that's not burnt
    Alina Y.

I ordered a salad specifically asked for my tortillato not be burnt like most of the time. because I have this problem a lot with them. when I came back to mention the tortilla is absolutely burnt the lady looked at me like I'm crazy and mentioned this is how they serve their food and that's how it usually comes, I am very concerned for health safety, Literally tasted like charcoal did not enjoy the salad at all

    Border burrito w/ chips

Great food, awesome salsa bar. Every dos coyotes I've been to has a nicely colorful interior. My go to is always the border burrito. It has all the goodies of rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and meat. I usually get chicken, though their steak is also really tasty. The chicken has a nice char which adds to the flavor. Very large and filling burrito. Maybe a little bland at times (not very salty), but goes well with the salsas. I love rotating through their salsas (good pico de gallo, tomatillo, roasted tomato, and especially the creamy green one on the right. I've never seen this one at other restaurants). So good! The chips are also very crisp and delicious, and I like that they're unsalted. Overall a solid option. Great if you're feeling extra hungry!

    New Mexico Stacked Enchilada.

I don't know where to start really. I have been here in the past and honestly had good food but tonight was not something I would categorize as good. In fact, it is difficult to find constructive feedback that does not come off negative without any room for improvement or even subjective bias. I had the New Mexico Stacked enchilada. I am from NM and in candor, I tend to either not rate Mexican restaurants or if I do, I try not to compare to home made food or restaurants from New Mexico. With that said, here is what I encountered. First, Mexican food is oftentimes described as a "mess on a plate" and I don't take offense to this at all. Some of my favorite places pride themselves on the alchemy of mixing all of the ingredients onto a plate. When done well, it's masterful. When it isn't, it's just a mess. That is the start. First the blue corn tortillas were almost crunchy and instead of laying flat they kinda curled up and had a crunchy chewey feel to them. As this wasn't a tostada, that was not optimal. The egg was not properly cooked, and all of the food was barely warm. Mexican food should always come piping hot with dripping cheese and sauce that emanates the distinct aromas of the southwest. This was warm. Like barely warm. The food was bland and I didn't finish any part of the meal. Overall, I found it to be not nearly worth the value of the charge. There are better choices out there, and I was left wondering what had happened.

    Yolo mango burrito

We came on the way to Tahoe and it was 42C! We brought our dog so we sat outside. The waiters were nice, offering dog bowl with cold water and opening the outdoor seat for us. I ordered yolo mango burrito, it was fantastic! Hubby ordered Yucatán chicken salad and he said dressing was tasteless, chicken was dry. We ordered chips and it was okay too. Salsa bar was great though.

Dos Coyotes is absolutely amazing! It is vibrant and cheerful, and when you walk in, you can watch the chefs cut their signature juicy chicken! They always provide fast and efficient service! A few of our favorite menu options are: The Fajita Salad: This is so hearty, fresh, and flavorful! All the salads are served on top of a big tortilla, so you can wrap it up into a juicy burrito at any time! Loaded Potato Tacos: These are so cheesy and flavorful! Add the crispy pulled pork on top--there is a small fee, but it is so worth it! The Bean and Cheese Burrito with Anasazi Beans: After all these years, this still remains my favorite bean and cheese burrito I've ever had! Thank you, Dos, for always providing us with great food!

I came here before with a friend several times. You get seated anywhere you want. They served you chips and salsa when first sit down and asked what you like to drink. I got agua de Jamaica, it's iced tea made of dried hibiscus flowers. It's sweet and tangy. I asked for side or guacamole. I ordered 2 chile rellleno with all rice. I don't like beans. It came out within 10 mins ordering it. The plate came out hot. The waitress warn me before she put it down. I couldn't eat it at first. It was too hot and fresh. The rellanos was covered in some type of brown sauce. It was savory and good. I love chile rellanos. Not a lot make it good. But this one was good. I put the guacamole on my rice and went at it. I never got refill of my drink and they never offered me water. She asked if I was doing ok once and gave me the check before I was done. What if I wanted dessert? Hmm The service was nice and friendly. I wanted a refill. There was a lot of people in the restaurant is tucked inside same parking lot of gas station and liquor store. Next to the Oriental Market.

The tacos were good, and had a good amount of meat. They default to a medium-hot. Ask for mild or no sauce if you're sensitive. The chips and salsa bar is nice, and you can take some to-go. The salsas are all hot to extra hot. There is a pico that is not hot. We also enjoyed the sour cream avocado sauces. The burritos are over $13 each, and standard in size. Not extra large at all. They open early and are located in Downtown Roseville. Very spacious interior including booths and table seating as well as picnic benches outdoors. The salsa bar is located next to the soda fountain machine. This is a counter service and they will serve your food to your table. I'm not a pro when it comes to Mexican food but the Mexican-style Steak & Eggs featured perfectly grilled steak paired with fluffy eggs mixed together and came with refried beans, sour cream, avocado, salsa, shredded cheese and rice. Also, choice of warm corn or flour tortilla. Oh, also there were also fries... like French fries? Friendly help at the counter. Food came fast. Review #4001

Located in a lower part of Roseville, they are in a single building on the street with a cool mural on one wall. parking in the back is tight with about 10 spaces. They do have a small outdoor seating area up on the street side but it was closed when we were there. Not that we wanted to sit on the busy street anyway. Inside is simple and very echoey. Like a cafeteria with a fussy baby echoey...This is a walkup and order, get your number and they will bring your food to the table. Our server was nice once we got her attention and she came out from being back in the kitchen. We ordered two of the dinner plates. With both orders we looked at each other after trying each of the items, and shrugged our shoulders... Where's the flavor??? There was absolutely nothing. Even the salsa that came with the chips was flavorless. For $40+ it was so disappointing. And there are no other hot sauces or condiments to help out here unless you want to add salt and pepper. It was weird and just not good. For all these people stating THIS is AUTHENTIC Mexican food... well try another restaurant because this isn't it.
