I ordered breakfast burritos for my son and I. I ordered the chorizo burrito. I asked them to cut it in half. I took a bite out of one side and pulled out A USED BAND-AID!! I called them and they wanted to remake my burrito. Absolutely not.

Birria Ramen is full of meat & noodles. The cilantro, onion, and lime were on the side. The temperature was piping hot!

Wait... Taco Exxpress has been here for how long and I am finally trying a piece of Heaven? What's wrong with me? Located in Rocklin on Granite & Rocklin Drive, Taco Express stands out with its brought colors. The send most notable thing was the drive-thru. As you pull in and go through the parking lot, closest to the corner is the beginning of the drive-thru. There is a menu with many many options. Since it was the weekend, menudo and pozole are available. I couldn't tell if there was seating inside but there is definitely seating outside! Jenita was craving a taco salad with carnitas. I didn't see it on the menu (it could've been there, I was rushing through and my eyes may not have caught it). They put refried beans in it as she wanted, along with sour cream, guacamole, and melted cheese in a crispy flour tortilla. She also got a jamica augua fresca. I decided to go with the birria ramen. Lovely consummé, filled with ramen noodles and lots of beef. You can't rush delicious food, so there was a little bit of a wait. The man at the window was polite and worked fast! Great customer service! When we got back to Jenita's, I set her up with her taco salad. I sat next to her and we ate out of our Styrofoam containers. By the time we got back, set her up, and took my pictures, about 20 minutes had gone by since we got our food and my birria ramen was still too hot too eat, but that was a great thing! They serve piping hot food!!! Jenita said her taco salad with carnitas was delicious. My birria ramen was so good! So good, that I wanted to go back and get more food, but I'm going to be patient and look forward to my next visit!

Ive been a patron of this location for about 3 years. Ive only had one other issue besides the one that I am writing about today, and that was about a year ago I ordered grilled chicken on my food and it was raw. But THIS..this experience is the thing that will prevent me from ever visiting this location or potentially any location again. I ordered Loaded fries with grilled chicken and when I turned the light on and saw my food, the fries were literally grey! It was dreadful. Not only did the few bites I ate cause me to throw up continuously that night, I was sick for days afterwards and had to go to the ER to get IV fluids and anti nausea meds. Experiences like this are why I have a strict "no take-out in the dark" policy because imagine if I kept eating before turning the light on . I literally could have died. Potatoes leak a poison called solanine that is so toxic it will kill you in large quantities. Something has gone very wrong at this place so I won't ever be back.

No extra cheese no extra tomato no soda I had to eat my lunch with no drink. I should've checked. It's my fault, ‍

It never fails every time I go to this place the communication is terrible. I guess I always ask for extra cheese and tomatoes. This time I asked for Coke and didn't get it. Also, I believe I paid for it all I didn't get a receipt. I guess it's all my fault in having faith that it'll be done right this time darn it.

So much better than El Forestero. This had a perfect ratio of egg, potato, and meat (unlike el forestero which was huge, but was way too potato-heavy). Good flavor, salsa was good, service at the drive thru was friendly. Showed up right when they opened and they had my burrito ready super fast. Will be back for sure!

I was in the area, so wanted to give another location a chance. Compared to the Power Inn location, drive through staff were much nicer & food came out very quick. 10/10 - Bean & Cheese Burrito: I had a hankering for a basic burrito & this one was delicious! The burrito was pretty big & full of yummy filling. While still pricey, this one was worth it. 5/10 - Carne Asada Fries: the fries didn't seem fresh & very soggy; carne asada lacked flavor. Pretty disappointed by these.

We grabbed dinner at Taco Express tonight and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was great! We tried street tacos, a super burrito, a fat burrito, quesaburria, rice, beans and churros.

This place is a good stop right off the freeway. If I'm ever in the area again, I will swing by, they lose a star because they dont have any healty options like a salad but that's okay. Im cool with that. The place has a restaurant vibe but a fast food experience. The service was good and I would recommend going there if you are near.

I'm not a fan of onions, so I did not have those, but it was nice to have the lettuce and the tomatoes have that nice taste when it hasn't been smothered in BBQ sauce or others as it's being cooked by the chicken like other places prepare them. From the moment we walked up, it was busy which at first made me think we would have to go elsewhere but once we went inside the hostess said it would only be 5 minutes. She was extremely warm and welcoming and all of the staff were smiling! We were seated within 5 minutes and before our butts hit the chairs they were already asking if we needed any coffee! I love that we didn't have to wait for our "server" to come but were able to enjoy coffee while browsing the menu. We narrowed our picks down and when our waitress Mallory came by she helped us pick our eggs Benedict and Spicy Omelette! She made sure to ask if I wanted tortillas or toast, which I loved rather than just assuming. This all happened within the first 8 minutes of us being in our seats - this doesn't happen ever anymore when you go out to eat, to have your coffee and order taken while feeling like she truly wanted us to have a great experience. Within 10-15 minutes not only did we have our delicious looking food in front is us but we had a refill of coffee because all the servers were keeping an eye on every table to make sure you were taken care of. When Mallory sat the food down, WOW. It looked delicious and it was the perfect quantity - often nowadays they give you tons because they have to make up for the quality. Both our items were perfect and do not pass up the toast with the best jam ever- I am pretty sure my grandma would have been jealous! Mallory stopped by and we shared how awesome the food was and that it was our first time and we can't wait to come back with our kiddos. We finished up, our bill came and another server came by quickly to process! No waiting, no walking it to the counter! Plus we had another coffee refill while we waited! The server who grabbed our check came back to ask how our meal was and said she heard it was our first time. We shared how much we loved it and would be back. It was then that we learned that, Julie was actually the 2nd youngest sister and one of the owners. She was amazing. She shared their story and how Four Sisters Cafe became what it is and asked our names. When is the last time you have had such a personable experience while dining? Ya, it's been awhile for me as well. Four sister's cafe was not just great because the food was good but it truly was a positive and uplifting vibe with amazing people who want you to enjoy the experience. We can't wait to come back, Thanks Mallory and Julie!

I had asked one of their excellent staff members to see if she was ok -- she had been in there for some time. She WAS OK. l finally went into the room (10 minutes later) to check on her myself. Between the time of the first check & "now", she HAD fallen on the semi-wet floor & couldn't get up by herself. My wife has Parkinson's disease . I helped her up but we had to leave immediately for the Emergency Room - she had broken something in her arm! After casting her wrist (& having x-rays of her head, neck wrist, & arm), we drove home. The next day, Wednesday, January 21st, I talked with another friend at Huckelberries while I was picking up an Arnold Palmer for my wife, I jokingly said that we should sue the establishment. After a couple of laughs, I reiterated that this was just a joke. She shared this information with Dominic, her manager. Dominic immediately texted me saying we could no longer eat there. Also if ANYONE working there talked with myself or my wife, they would be fired immediately! I shared with him that I had been joking & I stated that we would not do anything more. I was just JOKING. (A lousy Joke, I realize now, but a joke nonetheless.) During our limited back & forth "talking", NOT ONCE DID HE ASK HOW MY WIFE WAS!! Not Once! I feel that this was something that anyone, especially with a business background, should/would ask. But not Dominic. Therefore, I feel that this business, this MANAGER, receives the very lowest of ratings from me.

But if you just want a classic burrito with plenty of bacon, good melted cheese, perfect ratio of egg/meat/potato, get the David's wrap. Price was reasonable too. It's not the biggest burrito but not the smallest either. To be honest, I was a little turned off at first. Not because it was in a gas station (that actually gives me higher expectations), but because I asked for the burrito and was given one premade out of the warmer. Also, maybe I didn't look around very much, but I didn't see any salsa. When I got home and tried it though, it was pretty perfect. Tortilla maybe a little burnt, but besides that perfect. Luckily I had a good hot runny salsa at home which works perfect for breakfast burritos. I'll be back next time and ask if they have salsa though - that would push it to 5 stars (if the salsa is good I guess).
