Fast, great service and food. I love their house frozen margaritas and anything with their queso…read moresauce. Very laid back and great for kids

When we walked in, an older woman greeted us right away with the sweetest smile and seated us immediately. She ended up being our hostess and was so kind and attentive the whole time. The atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. The menu isn't huge, but it has a good variety and the prices are very reasonable, especially for how much food you get. I'll admit I was a little unsure when I saw queso wasn't complimentary, because sometimes when you pay for it, it's not that great, can tell it's made with velveeta. But we ordered the large anyway and it was actually really good. The salsa was just right too, not too mild but not overly spicy. I ordered the enchilada platter and wasn't sure how I'd feel about the red sauce, so I also got a beef chimichanga on the side just in case I did not like the red sauce. Both were really good, and the chimichanga was way bigger than I expected, honestly a full meal by itself. My daughter got the Cowboy Quesadilla and said it was the best one she's had in a while. My husband ordered the steak fajitas and really liked them, his only comment was that the steak pieces were a little thin. Overall, everything was great. The food, the service, and just how genuinely kind our hostess was really stood out. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back.

Love enthusiastic food reviews like this Here you go:…read more --- If you're anywhere near Edmond and not stopping at Cafe Sol Taco Truck, you are seriously missing out. I ordered the asada fries and I'm still thinking about them. Absolute perfection. The fries were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded (and I mean LOADED) with perfectly seasoned carne asada. The steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor -- not dry, not chewy, just melt-in-your-mouth good. The toppings were fresh and balanced everything out beautifully. Creamy sauce, fresh pico, just the right amount of cheese -- every bite had the perfect mix. It wasn't just "good food truck food." It was legitimately some of the best asada fries I've had anywhere. You can tell they care about quality and flavor. Everything tasted fresh, hot, and made to order. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming -- the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try everything else on the menu. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavor is next level. 10/10. Will absolutely be back. Edmond is lucky to have this gem.

This is one of me and my husband's favorite restaurants... not favorite Mexican restaurants,…read morefavorite RESTAURANTS. Sadly we were halfway through our to-go order before I even thought about taking a picture, so I don't have anything to show you, but take my word for it, the food here is AMAZING. But that's not why I wanted to write this review. One of the things we love most about Cafe Sol is how the people who work there make us feel when we visit. Tonight we had a coupon code (ya gotta sign up for their list, yo!) for free chips n dips, but you had to place your order online. We were in the area, so we just decided to go inside and order our food and wait for it. Even though we were just sitting on the waiting bench at the entrance, a lovely and kind employee named Cass still took the time to greet us, ask us if there was anything we needed, and invited us to sit at a booth while we waited for our order. She even stayed at the table to make sure our online order captured everything we wanted, including extra creamy jalepeno sauce (our fave). After offering to make sure we would have plenty of all the sauces, she brought us chips and salsa (and MORE SAUCES) to snack on while we waited, PLUS invited us to help ourselves to a beverage. All of this hospitality is standard for what we've come to expect from Cafe Sol, but we just wanted to say thank you again to Cass. We didn't have the best day today, but she absolutely made our evening!

Our service was Amazing! Our waiter was a young man that was…read moreso delightful. He was attentive, watching to fill our drinks and always asking if we need anything. We were a party of 6. I will recommend to family and friends

Let's start with the reservation, we made a reservation for 5 people around 5:15 thinking we could…read moredo a reservation for 6-6:30. The earliest we could was 7, not a big deal. We got to the restaurant around 6:30 and we were greeted by a rude hostess. I was still parking the car when the hostess told my wife we needed to wait till our reservation time. Immediately after telling us that she seated 2 separate parties of 4 and 5 people who did not make a reservation. I get into the restaurant and address the issue we have with waiting an additional 30 minutes with the hostess. She immediately gave me attitude as well. We were seated about 10 minutes later after a server with what seemed to be a lot of experience came up and made suggestions to the hostess. After being seated we waited quite awhile for our server who was great however, was obviously overwhelmed with tables due to short staff. Drinks from the bar were awful, extremely sour. My daughter ordered a mocktail and had to ask 3 separate times for it after all adults recieved their alcoholic beverages. She did not receive it until her food came out. To add insult to injury, the atmosphere was far off from any Uncle Julio's I've ever been to. The restaurant had several parties with small children who were screaming and slamming silverware and dishes. This is expected to a degree when going out in public but this was at an obnoxious level. Most people in the restaurant were visibly uncomfortable with the noise level. Food, though the fajitas lived up to the level you'd expect from Uncle Julio's the steak quesadilla which I've gotten once or twice before had the presentation someone would expect from a Taco Bell. The plate looked nothing at all like what I've ordered in the past, it was bland looking an not at all something you'd expect from this class of restaurant. The amount of cheese and steak was minimal, it was mostly made up of tortilla. Having had enough, we finished our food, denied all additional drinks and desserts, paid our ridiculous bill for the food/service we received and quickly left the restaurant. After arriving home, 4 of the 5 of us did not feel very well after eating there. Won't be back, been to plenty of Great Uncle Julio's restaurants however, this one should have to change it's name. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
