I get food here almost every week! I love this place. Service is great always fast. Inside is a nice vibe good place to have a drink.

Definitely not Cajun nor edible. This is the first time I found shrimp that I could not eat. The wife and I found it inedible. The waiter barely spoke English and messed up our order. Ordered one order of Aquachile with red and green sauce. Waiter brought out two orders, one with red sauce and one with green. Should have sent them back. They were the most disgusting things we had ever tried to eat. Was civil and paid the bill. Complained to the manager but he couldn't have cared less. Never going back and am warning others to avoid. read more

The restaurant was loud they were installing booths and tables. They also overcharged me for my food $3 hole Dollars and on top of that a company service charge of 3.50% which was $2.05 Dollars. I found out that's what they charge if you pay with credit card but I paid in cash. They didn't offer to fix it. The crawfish wasn't good the rest of the food was okay. I'm sorry to say that was my last time and I do not recommend eating there. read more

Someone recommended this place to me and I was in the neighborhood so dropped by for dinner last night. Had a dozen oysters, which were very large, nicely, chilled, and served with a nice accompaniment of red sauce, horseradish, lemon, and crackers. I then had the whole fried fish, which was a nice size portion and very tasty and came with two different kinds of beans, one of which had some tiny shrimp. Almost forgot, there were three or perhaps four grilled shrimp on top of the fish, which were delicious. French fries were good too. I was very impressed with the food at this place. My server, Adamari (on left in photo) was very welcoming, attentive, and made great recommendations! She made a very good meal even better! The young lady that brought the food to me, not pictured in the photo, was also very good at her job. I thought the prices were very reasonable. This may be the best seafood restaurant in Waco. Honestly.... This was not a "Cajun Joint"! Blackened fish with "NO" blackened seasonings! Crawfish was frozen and reheated. In Texas during crawfish season!!! Really....! We ordered the snow crab (Louisiana style - on the spicy level) it was not really spicy or tasty. It was extremely salty and the body of the crab was still super cold. We also ordered fried oysters as an appetizer and they were terrible. They were well well done and tasted bad, like old oysters. The server was nice but not really good. I'm unsure why this place has no reviews on Yelp! when there are plenty on Google. Does Waco not use Yelp?! I've been here the past two nights. I had the shrimp and crab leg combo bag last night and 1lb of shrimp tonight. Both came with 2 potatoes and corn. I got them seasoned Cajun which was very flavorful and both were delicious! The service was prompt and polite on both occasions, and the place is very clean with modern/contemporary crab shack decor if that makes sense In Waco for another week for work, and will probably be back a few more times LOL - Highly recommend! read more

We went because a zydeco musician was advertising he'd be doing a show, but he wasn't. It look good, so we decided to eat there anyway. We were warmly greeted at the door and promoted seated. There was a singer who was very personable and would encouraged others to join or sing themselves. The words were on the screen over the bar and it was very entertaining. The waiter took our drink orders immediately and gave all 5 of us plenty if time to decide what to order. He also checked back to see if we had any questions. We did a 1lb shrimp boil with corn & potatoes, garlic shrimp, shrimp & scallop shishkabobs and a shrimp basket. Everything was delicious. The only negative with the food was everything came out at different time and before the last dinner arrived one was almost finished. At the end our waiter had disappeared so we had to go look for someone to pay our bill. We would definitely go back but I wish I could give a 4.5 because a 15 minute difference in when food comes out is really not good and not being able to get to go boxes or find our waiter to get the check is truly unacceptable. I used to come here a lot and I loved it. The food went down hill and so did the service.

Wife's Strawberry Margarita was amazing. The food was equally fantastic scallops and shrimp seasoned and cooked to perfection. Got to come back and have a dozen or so Oysters on the half shell. read more

I've been there 3 times now, and every experience has been wonderful. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The layout of the restaurant is inviting that has a lot of tv screens. The drink menu is out of this world. Last visit on 11/10/24 I had lb crab legs steamed to order. Alejo the waiter took care of everything our table needed. Our table also ordered fried catfish that came with big portions and one of the combos that included shrimp and crab. I highly recommend dining here. read more

Great space for large groups. By the pound seafood was great. I had the fire level heat and it had a kick but not too bad. Make sure to order a side of toast to soak up the juice. Bartender was great and attentive. read more

Not real catfish. I asked before ordering if it was real catfish and they said yes. I should have known better, to not get the gumbo SOUP. I'm from Louisiana. Never heard of gumbo soup. I was a soup with diced pieces of chicken and shrimp that that was added right before it was served. I left 90% of the food on the table. Went in Wednesday for lunch. The Mexican rap music was way to loud. Our waiter was good he checked on us frequently. The kitchen was very slow, only one other couple in the dining room and our meals took a little over 45 minutes to get to our table. Food was good. So I heard someone talking to the manager outside about having a horrible feast and was going to write a review. Well my wife and I absolutely loved it the food was amazing our waitress was great suggesting random cocktails for us to give a try and were spot on. Not sure what happened to them but definitely need to broaden their taste buds. Wife loved her non-spicy lemon pepper bag of seafood while I really enjoyed my Louisiana bag of sea food. 10/10 recommend for local or tourist! I got a big ol bag of seafood to go because I get gross sloppy and didn't want to drive my car with mess all over me. Anyway. The food was fantastic. Hottttt (got Cajun hot ) and I would do it every time. So so so soooooo good. My new go-to. I'll update if it changes but I think this place is top notch. Also.... If you don't like when they don't come around a lot to check on you and make sure you're still in your seat and not dead.... Go in, know your order, and order everything you want.
