Quick and efficient service! We were seated immediately, chips and salsa came to the table almost before we were seated. Staff continuously checking to see if we needed refills or anything else. Outstanding service I ordered the beef taco plate and they gave me so much beef with the added rice and beans which left me so satisfyingly full! Everything was delicious not one complaint. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was very clean. I need to come here more often! Wonderful experience!

my go to in cedar park! came to grab dinner with my mom before we leave separate ways for the holidays so our dinner was a mini thanksgiving catchup vibe. Of course chicken tortilla soup was a must! Alex, our server was such an absolute gem, angel, superstar! He totally made our experience amazing and i enjoyed chatting with him. Such a great energy! can't wait to come back a see Alex

Upscale Tex-Mex dining with tablecloths snd porcelain plates. Full bar and great party atmosphere. It's very good traditional TexasTex-Mex. The menu features limited American fare, mostly burgers and s very wide assortment of standard ite

Loved it! We had a great dinner here. We were seated quickly, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. The standard chips and salsa arrived, with hot roja and a nice verde to give a contrast. We discovered that our basket of chips, after taking a few off the top, had many broken, small chips (bottom of the bag, perhaps?). Our server noticed this and quickly took it away and replaced it with new, warm chips. We greatly appreciated that! The chicken quesadilla was well-prepared. The chicken tasted grilled, and was cut into good sizes. The tortilla was grilled enough to be firm in our hands. There was a terrific amount of cheese throughout. The beef tacos were very tasty. They were ordered plain, with only cheese. Extra cheese was requested and boy did they deliver! A small cup of shredded cheese was placed atop of the meal. My companion was in heaven! The Pomegranate Rita was deceptively delicious. The mix of pomegranate juice, lime and Centenario Respoado was a great blend! The restaurant also offered Mexican Coke (which if you've never tried, you MUST!). It was in a very large bottle as well (a half liter). My only disappointment was the Tres Leches cake. The wasn't as moist as I expected a tres leches cake to be, and the whipped cream frosting was a bit too thick. The TVs around the restaurant were showing soccer/football games, but I wouldn't say this is a good place to go to watch sports. It's definitely for dining; you simply get to check out the score of games by glancing up at a TV.

Dos Salsas seems like a really nice place where it's easy to eat out with family. The service is attentive and they have an abundance of larger tables for larger parties. Plus I'm always a sucker for free chips and salsa. The food was also pretty good with decent portion servings! The flaquitas were delicious but were also pretty standard all in all. But I thought the chile relleno was okay. The brisket inside was delicious, but I wasn't a big fan of the egg batter around the poblano pepper.

Dos Salsas? More like Dos Stars! My food was bland, my enchiladas were not good, and my rice tasted like señor Ben's! No bueno, amigo!

Haven't been to this restaurant in a while. Going on Saturday late afternoon has certain built in expectations and limitations. Yes it was very loud, there were numerous larger groups and some with small children that didn't want to stay seated. This made maneuvering the aisles a challenge especially for servers. The food was good, especially the spicy salsa. The items in the combos were the same but the size was smaller. Still tasty enchilada and tamale. The taco served on the side was full of ground beef and the toppings were on the plate to add to your liking. The barbacoa tacos were very tasty. Food was received in a timely manner but it took awhile for the server to come back so we could check out. Place was pretty crowded by the time we left. Parking is much easier at this location and food much tastier than in Georgetown.

If you're hungry and in the mood for Tex Mex, Dos Salsas satisfies. The portions are big and the drinks are good. The best part is the prices are reasonable and the service is great. There's a reason this place is busy and people keep coming back.

Here is the receipt from my Dal salsa carryout
    Jon P.

So previously, we had a really great experience at Dos Salsas, but that was late to rest with the carryout order we had this evening. So what happened. Quite simply what happened is I ordered a frozen margarita with mango flavoring. What they didn't say, is they will only do a frozen margarita for their special margarita so I did not get what I wanted. Worst of all, is that the menu had frozen as an option for this margarita. If they're not gonna do regular margaritas as frozen, why would they have this as an option? I've attached a copy of my receipt to prove the point, and if anyone from management would like to contact me, feel free to do so

I did ask to try aleida's sauce, which many people liked on yelp, but we liked their green sauce the most! Overall, very cute and colorful restaurant; loved all the decor. The outdoor patio, where we sat, was covered and nice, until it started pouring hard outside. Not a super authentic latin restaurant. No complimentary chips and salsa. My taco wasn't worth more than $5, tbh, and we paid close to $9..given it was shrimp, but we've had much better shrimp tacos elsewhere for less. I wish I had a photo of my poor taco, but I totally forgot to take a picture :/

They are all consistently good!

Let me establish credibility up front: I am a taco guy. Philosophically. Spiritually. Practically…read more If there's a menu, I'm scanning for tacos. Except at Chuy's. At Chuy's, I am a burrito person--and I've made peace with that. I've been eating at Chuy's for about 20 years, which in Austin time means I've watched entire neighborhoods rise, fall, and get rebranded as "districts." Through it all, Chuy's has stayed exactly what it is: a true Austin staple that doesn't try to impress you--it just feeds you really well. ( even though it's all over Texas now) Let's talk food. The steak burrito with boom-boom sauce is my standing order because I like spice with consequences. This thing is enormous. Not "big plate" big--this is a structural burrito. The redwoods of burritos. I get two meals out of it easily, sometimes three if I'm feeling emotionally responsible. Chuy's doesn't believe in portion control; it believes in abundance. Yes, everyone raves about the jalapeño ranch, and yes, they're correct. But what doesn't get enough credit are the chips: thin, light, super fresh, perfectly crisp. No thick, dusty triangles pretending to be artisanal. Pair that with their salsa--bright, tomato-forward, almost pico-like, never pasty--and suddenly you've eaten half a basket before the food even arrives. This is not your fault. This is design. Atmosphere: I love quiet places. Chuy's is not one. But it's boisterous in a way that feels alive, not chaotic. The artwork and design are genuinely original, full of heritage and stories--not corporate Tex-Mex cosplay. It feels like a place that knows who it is and doesn't need to explain itself. Service is usually good--kind, fun, efficient. But my server last night was exceptional. Not just polite, but attentive in a human way. She clocked that I'd had a long day and quietly turned dinner into an actual experience instead of a transaction. That kind of care matters. Bottom line: Chuy's is still doing what it's always done--serving big, flavorful Tex-Mex with personality, history, and zero apologies. I may be a taco guy everywhere else, but at Chuy's? Hand me the burrito. I know better.
