No issues with the taste of the food -- my issue is the price versus the portion size. You can barely get a full scoop of meat. When this place first opened, you used to get two scoops per bowl. This time I was honestly shocked because I didn't even get one full scoop. Same with the sides -- I had to ask for more corn and cheese. On top of that, a few employees didn't speak English, and the woman at the end of the line is consistently the most unfriendly person in there. She acts like the food is coming out of her paycheck and like she's determined not to give you anything extra -- at the very least, spread the food out across the bowl. It also feels like portions depend on who you are, because some people seem to get more than others. We tried Chipotles a few wks ago and were amazed at how much meat they gave in comparison but didn't taste as well as this ... so here I am back here today but it's Disappointing, because this place started off so good. read more

What a find on our road trip! We wanted Mexican food and had never heard of DosBros. The concept is like Chipotle, but with all authentic Mexican choices. I had heard this place was better than Chipotle. Not true. It was not good, barely edible. I can't even say why it wasn't good but it just wasn't. And there was clearly some drama going on with the employees while were there with a group of women gossiping about another. I will be visiting this place again. They just opened about a week ago. Their grand opening was July 8, 2015. I was impressed. It is in a new building so everything is nice and clean. You walk in to the right and order from the cafeteria like counter. You can get several things here but I recommend a bowl. They add rice for the bottom layer. Then you choose black beans or pinto beans. I chose pinto beans. From here you add whatever toppings you want. I chose, lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese, tomatoes (pico), corn and several sauces that you can add to it. You definitely want to try this place out. For those who have been to Chipotle, it's just like that (except the steak is better seasoned). For those who haven't been to Chipotle: this is Moe's-style (or Subway-style) casual Mexican restaurant that offers meat and vegetarian options for burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and burrito bowls. Their ingredients are fresh and they make the meat on sight. No prepackaged, frozen meat here. They have several different salsa ranging from mild to hot, and their portions are mammoth. For the amount of food you get, the prices are very reasonable. I've only had a burrito here, but the ingredients are all the same so I'm sure the tacos, quesadillas, etc., are all also very good. there are about 4 different people who will handle your food. The first asks what you want (burrito, in my case) and what kind of tortillas (white or wheat). They warm your tortillas in this massive waffle iron that looks like it has two flat, metallic grill surfaces on either end. I'm not sure who came up with this thing, but I need one in my kitchen. The next person asks what kind of beans (pinto/black) and meat you'd like (chicken/steak/sofritas [bbq beef]/spicy tofu). The 3rd person then asks for your other ingredients. No surprises here: cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, guacamole, etc., and about 4 different types of salsa. Now this 3rd person is the real MVP of the line. This courageous individual is tasked with folding this monstrosity of a tortilla into an actual burrito. Every single time I watch them do this, I'm SURE they aren't going to be able to fold it tight enough so everything doesn't come tumbling out. And EVERYTIME they prove me wrong. This last time the girl looked like she wasn't gonna make it. I gave her a couple of encouraging cheers ("ra-ra-shish-koom-bah!") and she made it. I think she started to even sweat a little. The last person to handle your food is the cashier. If you want extra chips and dip, quest, a drink (they have beer), etc., this is the person to ask. One thing I want to point out is the way they layer their burritos. You aren't going to have a bite with just rice, then another bite with just sour cream, and another with just guac and cheese. You get all the ingredients in every bite. I wish Taco Bell learned how to do this, but then again, Taco Bell isn't actually food. I'm typically against several people handling my food this much, but everyone is wearing gloves and I've never been concerned with cross contamination. This place is very clean and friendly. The cashier this time was kinda rude seeming but maybe just had a bad day so no loss of rating there. My girlfriend absolutely loves this place and I do too!
