The vanilla cream filled donuts at Dot's are delicious. They are light, fluffy, and packed with just the right amount of vanilla cream in the center. The cream isn't too sweet and the donut is coated with a good amount of powdered sugar. I'll definitely be back to try the other pastries here when I'm back in the area.

When another OC bakery stopped selling our family's favorite donuts, we needed to find a replacement. I searched yelp pics and found Dot's and I'm so glad we did! We called and preordered half a dozen of the chocolate topped, cream filled donuts. They were the perfect replacement. Plus, they have a bunch of other goodies there we were interested in trying. Very friendly and great service. See you next year!

They saved one of their last Birthday Cakes for us....and it was AWESOME!! Great decoration and the cake was amazing. Don't let the long line fool you. They move quick inside. All of the employees were friendly, helpful, attentive and quick. We had glazed donuts, powdered donuts, apple fritters, and chocolate croissants which were my fave. We will be back! read more

Dots is a must when you are in Ocean City!!! They are known for their white cream donuts which are fresh, light and delicious! They make the best sticky buns and try the cheese pocket - its a light flaky danish with creamy cheese filling. Also try their butter cake, it's so gooey and creamy. Great service which is incredible as there is a line out the door everyday! Such a nice hard working family business too. read more

The dough is light and soft. Traditional selections of sugar, powder, jelly filled, cream filled. They do make a glaze donut in the shape of a pretzel. Good spot - the quality does not disappoint, overall a standard donut location that will satisfy. read more

When my son was little, we would have his birthday parties there. They were very accomodating and their cakes were delicious..they made a little runway with an airplane on the cake as his dad and I worked on airplanes. read more

Too bad this only goes to 5 stars, because this restraint of easily a 6/5 stars 100% would recommend to anyone that comes to this beautiful beach town!! I've been coming here since I was less than 6 months old and I can tell you hands down that it isn't a good trip to OCNJ until you get dots! So truly what are you waiting for!! Go straight to dots to make a great trip, also would highly recommend the chocolate sprinkles, glazed, Boston cream, and the jelly filled! all are 11/10's!!! read more

Dot's clearly has a tried and true recipe. They don't taste like your run in the mill donuts and have unique flavor. It's also nice to get a box of donuts where most items are still warm. What a great spot! read more

On our way out of Ocean City NJ the wife wanted to try Dot's croissant bun and since she wanted it we went to get it. We both agreed that it was nothing special or worth the drive down so far from most of the main area. The danish was odd tasting and I did not like the cheese stuffed inside. We will not go back as nothing was destination worthy. read more

Just NO! Seriously don't drive all the way down to the other end of the world to try this bakery. It's just OK and i'm sure it's great for people who are renting houses near it but it's nothing to rave about. On the island Dot's bakery is Barney on the best bakery. The most consistent quality in doughnuts, muffins birthday cakes, cookies and platters, and strudels to name a few items. Jeanne and Gregg run a quality business and are actively involved from start to finish each day. You can't go wrong with that! Also I wanted to mention the service is quick and attendance. read more

Hands down the BEST donuts you will ever have and unfortunately I know donuts . Do NOT worry about the long lines or the door and even if you have #32 and there on #83 ( how it was Memorial Day weekend ). U will have at most 15 min wait and SO worth the wait !!! One of the old fashioned donut shops still operating today. Great options and selections available. The creme filled donut was awesome... just the right and generous amount of Kreme filling! Apple fritters could use more of a hint of apple but still well done. The part that made this a solid 5 was the staff and the way they boxed the donuts... with an old fashioned stringed box tier!!!! Seriously, I would vo back just to get the box tied like that. The thing had to be from the 40's! Loved it. Felt like a Norman Rockwell moment!!! read more

FABULOUS!!! FABULOUS!!! FABULOUS!!! Absolutely well worth the 2 hr. 15 min drive just to buy donuts. Yes, I know it is in a beach town but I just went for the cream donuts. Service was great. They honor veterans too. PS. I actually don't like donuts except for Dots!! They are the only donuts I will eat and I love them, so I decided, what the heck, it's been 3 years since I last had Dots, I'll just go get some. They were better than I remember. But in the display case below the counter was a stack of beautiful seeded baguettes, hot out of the oven and longer than my arm! Disclaimer: I am a lifelong baguette hound, travel to Italy and France frequently enough, and consider myself a baguette connoisseur if you will. So it took two long bags, one on each end, to wrap this baguette which smelled like a dream, and I will admit that I was a bit taken back when the cashier asked for $10, which is the most I have ever paid for baguette in all of my life, but knowing that these sell out every day, I was not gonna walk away at that point! All I can tell you is this is by far the best baguette I have ever had in America or Europe: wonderful sourdough, perfectly texture crust covered with lightly toasted sesame seeds, and a moist soft chewy interior that is pure bliss. Buy this baguette! I promise you that it will be a memorable experience!P! And the 10 bucks? I have to be totally honest: I have since dreamed about this baguette and wouldn't hesitate to go back tomorrow for another one, it was so worth it!

All I can tell you is this is by far the best baguette I have ever had in America or Europe: wonderful sourdough, perfectly texture crust covered with lightly toasted sesame seeds, and a moist soft chewy interior that is pure bliss.
