The daily lunch pizza , salad and drink for $12.99 is a fantastic deal, large fountain drink of your choice with a full size salad and a 10 inch pizza with topping of your choice. Pepperoni/Hamburger/Mushroom Comes out Hot and Fresh!!! We also got a St Louis Style but for some reason... people wanted my Handtossed!! First time at Double Ds Saturday. We ordered taco pizza and mozzarella sticks. I was impressed with the taco pizza. The mozzarella sticks themselves were warm and gooey, the sauce with it left something to be desired. Not sure what it was. The inside was much larger than expected and would be good for a large group. Overall we'll try it again I'm sure. The service was great. They do offer several varieties of pizza and sell frozen as well. Also there's a few alcoholic beverages they sell. read more

This was a stop on our Pizza Passport and it gets a thumbs up! We have a group that goes to the passport stops together and Double D's was welcoming to our group. Super friendly manager manning the counter where you order, helping to bring out our food, checking on us, and keeping us informed about our food. Super nice guy. Orders are taken out the counter and then delivered to your table. We ordered boneless wings with hot mustard sauce, super good. They were more like mini strips with a thin breading, not the super crusty pre frozen boneless wings you get at most places. So good, I ate them and didn't take a picture. The Dude's meat lovers pizza was excellent, lots of toppings. crust thick enough to handle the toppings. Came out piping hot, it was very good. Ordered delivery through their website. After I paid, it showed that it was a DoorDash delivery. I would've never ordered delivery had I known that up front. Never got the order. I called them and they told me it wasn't their problem since it was in DoorDash's hands now. I asked if there was a DoorDash contact they could give me since the order receipt did not have one (or any mention of DoorDash). I was told that they do not use DoorDash, even though they clearly do. While trying to figure out a solution, she must've got tired of dealing with me and she eventually hung up. We'd been wanting to try Double D's for quite some time and decided to finally give it try. First time ordering last evening and I messed up on line. The evening worker went out of his way to figure out how to fix the delivery order. The manager was prompt at crediting me my error this morning. The salads, the pizza and the calzone were amazing. We are tough critics and I can't say enough about the quality and flavor. Visited DDs for lunch yesterday. We always love their pizza and apps. Today was no different- we did their meal deal which is a great deal. XL 2 topping pizza, salad and wings. We did a pepperoni and hamburger with mushroom on half of it also. Their bone in dds sauce wings and salad with balsamic vinaigrette. All of these were great. The salad was bigger than expected, wings were big and juicy, and the pizza was hot, fresh, loaded with toppings, and their delicious cheese blend. I decided to try the chicken Parmesan sandwich also. Here is where I was let down. We have gotten their boneless wings often in the past and they were always these hand breaded tenderloin strips that were really tasty. I had expected the chicken parm sandwich to be similar to those crispy chicken pieces but coated in sauce on garlic cheese bread. The sandwich was just ok- primarily bc of the chicken. It was what appeared to be frozen bagged chicken tenders added to the sandwich, not the hand breaded chicken I was used to getting there. We didn't order the boneless wings this day so I hope those haven't changed under the new ownership. We will be back for pizza and to find out if the boneless wings are as good as they used to be, but the chicken parm sandwich will not be on our menu again. read more

I am devastated that it's taken me so long to come here. Think of all the crappy salads, subpar pizzas, and not yummy sandwiches I've had to eat when I could have been eating the awesomeness that is Double D's. Our first visit we got a meat pizza (with our Pizza Passport) and a large chef salad. Husband and I each had a bowl of salad and there was still so much left, the to go container was FULL. The salad is mostly iceberg. Hallelujah! It's so hard to find a salad these days that isn't mixed greens or leaf lettuce. Both of which I do not like at all. Their ranch is really good too. The pizza was perfect. Toppings were plentiful and well balanced. There wasn't too much or too little of anything. Sauce was just right too. So much yum we had to go back the next weekend. I had to have another one of those salads. Still spectacular. And I really wanted to try their French Dip because I'm always on the lookout for a good one. It was better than good. I forgot to order it with cheese and it was still awesome. Great au jus as well. This place is definitely in my top five of pizza places. And, probably, top 20 of all restaurants. Was in town with my college age kids for an event and we decided to try this pizza spot. I ordered online and was sure I selected delivery but when my confirmation came, it was for pick up. After an unexpected trip to pick up, I was happy to get back with a Margherita, salad and a pepperoni pizza. I discovered the restaraunt had failed to provide utensils for the salad so that was inconvenient. Unfortunatelu, we all decided the pepperoni was inedible --the cheese and sauce were terrible. The salad and Margherita were fine but nothing to write home about. I had to run to McDonald's for my son. Disappointing but I give two stars since one pizza and salads were okay. read more

Been a while since I have had their pizza, good toppings, very friendly people that appear to go out of there way to please, my only issue is the pizza was undercooked, cheese not melted enough, onion tasted very raw, and too little cheese. First timer at Double D's. Been driving by the place for months. Heard a few good things, so the wife and I went with my brother and sister-in-law on a Saturday evening to enjoy some pizza and salads. You enter the restaurant and order at a counter. They give you a number to take to a table. Not my preference, but it was very fast and efficient. The counter person/order taker was very friendly. We ordered a "Bob's" pizza (bacon, hamburger, sausage and onion) and a couple of house salads - my brother and his wife ordered the same. The food came out promptly. The small salads were big enough, fresh and tasty. The pies were also served promptly. The pizzas that we ordered were St. Louis thin style and they did not skimp on the ingredients. And, the pizza was very good tasting (not top 10, but certainly met the need). The problem, both pies were barely cut. It is common for the cheese to melt back together, but the crusts for each pizza was scored some, but not cut through. So, you had to pull the pieces apart and the toppings would slide right off. Difficult to eat. That was the only negative really. Points for being super nice folks. Sharpen that pizza cutter I guess. read more

The cheese is a mixture but the menu says you can get all mozzarella which I think I will try next time which is just a preference of mine. Significant other also got a salad and said it was good. Awesome family run pizza joint. Even has a small arcade in the back as a bit of a surprise. They have a great thin crust pizza with some unique options, like Greek, which is one of our favorites.
