    Large Fordo's Chop Salad
    Steven F.

Finally gave Fordo's a try even though they've been in Urban Chestnut's Grove location for around a year now. We ordered at the counter and the friendly worker gave us an estimate of 20 minutes til it be ready, which was accurate. Not bad of a wait at all. The two of us split an 18" pepperoni pizza and a large chop salad. The salad tasted nice and fresh, with plenty of salami and olives, and it could've easily been split between 3 or 4. It's a bit light on the dressing (a red wine vinaigrette) which I didn't mind, but if you like a lot of dressing on your salad, go with another option. The pizza was alright. It was definitely still fresh out of the oven when we picked it up. Plenty of pepperoni but very light on the cheese and sauce. My main issue was how thick their cornicione is, it kinda overpowers the rest of the pie. If we come back, I'd like to try one of their more unique pizzas to see if they'd change my opinion.

Fordo's Killer Pizza has been on my try list for a bit. I love pizza and I think Niche always does a great job. I met some friends for a late lunch on a Saturday and ordered the beef sausage (roasted tomato-herb sauce, fontina, parmesan, caramelized onions & bell peppers, chives) with no bell peppers. I loved it. The dough is great. The toppings were great. I will be back here again and again.

    Small Deluxe pizza

Came by to grab a couple of pizzas for dinner. Went with a small deluxe and a small pepperoni. The website wasn't working, so I wasn't able to preorder, but they came out quickly! I just wandered around the beer hall for about 10 min. The menu had a bunch of different options, which seem to have something for everyone. A little pricy for pizza in general after a tip, but this is a place where you are paying for quality! Guy who took my order was friendly and was able to let me know what was sold out. Having this in the beer hall is great and the noise/traffic of people doesn't take away from the experience. I liked seeing the cook books on the top shelf. My only suggestion for them would be to consider listing what beers go best with which pizzas. Maybe Urban Chestnut can hook them up with a deal!

I do like a pizza with a thinner crust so this was just perfect! A good amount of toppings, made it a good value for the money. One pizza was enough for the two of us.

At long last a trusted slice is back at UCBC. Can't get enough of the fall off the bone confit buffalo wings and crushable caesar salad.

Delicious pizza and friendly service. The crust is this pizza's standout - a product of the recipe and oven-fired perfection.

The pork sausage was seasoned well and ground up so that it spread well in every bite. The pepperoncini and bacon filled out the flavor. It was really tasty. I got the Tamno Pivo beer to drink. It was a dark lager. It had a nice strong flavor, but not as strong as an Ale. We'll definitely be back. The staff helpful and patient, and the food came out surprisingly fast. There is no indoor seating so if it's Hot (like it was when we went) be prepared. The rain cooled it off a bit. I highly recommend the Fries with Parm and Lemon Aioli for dipping!!! We ordered the SPB Special pizza. It was a bit spicy for us with all the peppercinis. But we kept trying to think What is Missing?? It's cheese!! There is no mozzarella or pizza cheese!! Just Parm. So if you want your pizza with cheese.... This one is not for you. We would not order this one again but would go back to try something else. The service was friendly and fast!

I called to place an order, the man that answered was very short, he said they were busy and wait would be an hour and and a half, I said that's fine. Continuing on, ordered the special minus mushroom. Wanted to ask if a different topping could be added but was cut off and my ordering was over. OK, NBD. Got to the place to get the pizza, my husband went in to grab it and the man at the counter was rude and short with him. Also the place was empty so maybe we called in the order during a dinner rush hense the 95 min wait, again NBD. An employee pulled the pizza out tossed in in the counter and walked away. Then a younger employee walked up to the counter and collected money. I'm hoping the older man was just having a bad day, but being rude in 2 different manners is not a good look. When we get home and started to enjoy this pie half way into eating a slice was a nice piece of rubber, kind of looking like a hair tie or something. Now that's a huge turn off. First experience and now the last. Sorry folks but bad attitude and a foreign object is at all not appealing.

One of my daughters chose O+O Pizza and I'm glad she did! I received a call the day of our reservation to confirm we were still planning on being there. We were a group of seven, so I get it. I told the person who called that our daughter chose this place over a home cooked meal or any other restaurant in town, so there was a high expectation. I also told him o was kidding and we laughed. Even though I was kidding about the high expectations, they gave us a great meal and we had a good time. They actually came through with a few little things to make it special and while it wasn't necessary, it was very nice. The music was fun. Our service was good. Our food was great. There was literally nothing that happened that made me hesitate to give them the highest rating. Shout out to Tommy and Travis for everything they did! Will we go back? Most definitely!

The lobster rigatoni was so so good, I would definitely recommend. Lastly the cinnamon roll bread pudding was a perfect dessert. Would definitely check this place out !

They are located on Kingshighway right by Chippewa and have a fantastic location right in the heart of south city. The place is newer and when we arrived they let us know they were short staffed but to get seated and they would be right over. Grabbed a huge booth/table in the front by the bar and picked out the pizzas n some Buds Nugs as well as Beer Nugs. The Nugs were really great and can't pick which one I liked more but careful cus they are filling and you want to save room for the pizza! We all ordered a pizza (3 total for the table) and ours was the Boxcar. The slices are cute large, and the crust was a perfect balance of crispy but still fluffy. Since we got full on the Nugs we had lots of leftovers for the week to enjoy! Overall place was BEAUTIFUL, servers were friendly, and food was great!
