    Buffet pizza
    Jeep R.

I remember when this place opened: the buffet was the best! The pizzas were hot, they constantly replaced "cold" ones, and they had a variety! 12:30 on a Tuesday, and I'm pretty sure the pizzas have been out since they opened. They're cold, the cheese is congealed, and for $15 I should have gone to a real pizza place and bought a whole gourmet pizza - it would have been money better spent. Customer service: greeted when walked in the door and the prep cook frequently said they'd be right with me (and they were). Huge plus! Disappointing that the entire half hour I was there no one was bussing tables. Piles of plates were on many tables.

I'm still on the fence about the chocolate chip pizza. Not because it wasn't good. I just know it wasn't good for me. It was actually really good and surprisingly not too sweet. I'm not sure what they do to cut down on the sugar hit. The regular pizza? I got the meat eater pizza. It was pretty ok. Lots of meat. And it was good cold. I'd go back for the dessert pizza or the next time I'm in town for a fund raiser for my friends' children's school.

I had wings and a Philly cheesesteak Stromboli. They were very good. My favorite was the wings. The customer service was good. Even though today when I went they didn't have any wings because of shipment not arriving on time. The manager still offered me free pizza. After giving me a refund. The ambiance is very homey and family style establishment. This is a great place to bring your family or just come alone for some pizza a beer and a. Football game. Overall I'd still come back for the wings.

The buffalo chicken pizza is hands down my favorite. They also have the cauliflower crust for my Keto friends.

I totally get the hype about this place! If I lived nearby, you can bet I'd work my way through…read moretheir whole menu. There's just something different about this style of sandwich. I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

Many visits later it pains me to remove a star FOR BEVERAGE ISSUES ONLY (the food is still…read morefantastic). They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

First of all, I have to say how happy I am to have another halal option nearby. So that's first…read morethings first. But after that, I have to say that I will say that I like how quick the service was. You can see them making your food fresh after ordering and I appreciate that they tried to move quickly because there were people going in and out on the Saturday afternoon I was there. I personally don't like the thick bread and prefer the pita pocket style of rolls, but that's just personal preference. So I'm not even counting that part of the review. Because I expected it to have the thinner bread, I asked them to cut it. I usually like to have my sandwich cut in the middle, so I can eat half of it while driving since I'm almost always on the go. When they cut half of the sandwich, the aluminum foil bits were inside of the sandwich and that was really annoying because I had to pick off almost half of the sandwich from the ends of the sandwich just to make sure I didn't eat any bits of aluminum foil. I would ask them to either cut sandwiches in half separately before wrapping or have better quality aluminum foil (You can see the aluminum foil in the pictures). The sauce and meat was good and the veggies seemed fresh. I'm not knocking this place down, I'll definitely be back to try out again but just something to be aware of. I think the gyro wrap might just be growing on me. All in all, if you like a fluffy, smaller sanplacedwich like they do up north, instead of a longer shawarma wrap, definitely try this place out!

We only tried the hoagies, chips, and fries, but everything was good. The hoagies came out in a crunchy baguette. I'm guessing the bread is Vietnamese banh mi bread rolls. They were crunchy and very light. I liked the Italian better than the cheesesteak. The cheesesteak is a little salty for my taste, but it is still decent. This is a small mom and pop, not a fancy or trendy place. I would compare it to a hole in the wall and many people take it to go. Lots of people were calling in for the pizza and take out.

If any of y'all have been around the Greenspoint area for decades like I have, then you will…read moreremember a sandwich shop named "Rockies Subs" which was situated next to what used to be at Kroger's and a Luby's on Greens Road. Unfortunately about a year ago from the date of this review, Peter, which was the Asian owner of Chinese decent, decided to retire and long be gone. I was saddened to hear they I cannot get my delicious cheese steak sandwiches that I have not been able to find anywhere else. I'm a little bit biased to this establishment because I used to work there in the late '80s for a few months helping to make the preps for the foods there. Forward to now, I found this place upon a recommendation from a friend and semince this is a block for my residence I decided to try it. BLAST!! This is a spitting image out what ROCKY'S tasted like when it existed. I was blown away also when I heard that owner of this establishment that's been here for decades, was high school friend with Peter. (of Rocky's Subs) so they decided to open a business amongst each other in different places hence the parallel recipes as well as the pizza. It is rough inside and it showing its age but there are such thing as hole in the walls and sometimes they are the best places to eat correct? Well here is one of them and the bonus benefit is the prices are early 1990s currency! Where else can you get a Cheesesteak Hoagie for the price of around $7 and some change plus half price on the next one? This place never seems busy you know I was wondering how it stays open but hurry and get your cheese steak fixed before this guy decides to follow suit. There are coupons for the pizza that you can pick up at the counter and already at a very purposely priced average layout of $12 ish you can even get a discount off of that which you can feed a small party. This is one of those places where I tried it three times in one week and those that know me no that I will legitimately return as a nuisance until I'm sick of an establishment... and here I am. That Ambience is Cafe style and you're not going to get any decorations or happy cashiers but you will get a glimpse of its past ghostly history which seem to have been a Mexican restaurant at one time....decades ago! Don't let the outside deter you because there's not much to see and if you're driving past here fast enough, you might not see it and then when you step inside, don't get a double whammy of being surprised but just try the product for pizza sake, you will love it.
