I didn't realize I liked chicken salad until my daughter suggested we try this place out. Oh my goodness - so good! I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. And now I'm obsessed. I loved how the place was decorated and all the little touches - like table cloths on the tables and the way the bathrooms were labeled. Food was delivered quickly and the staff was very accommodating for people like us who had never eaten chicken salad - much less eaten at a Chicken Salad Chick. Definitely looking forward to going back and bringing my husband as I know he'll love this place too! read more

Came for lunch with my boss, I'm a vegetarian and was a little concerned but had a great experience! The GM nick was so nice, he gave me a bunch of samples of their vegetarian items to try. I love this place although I don't go too often as they are pricey! I went through the drive-thru and ordered Lin's Lemon Basil as suggested by my friend. I also chose the Broccoli salad as my side and a super sweet iced cookie is an added bonus. I was too full to eat the whole sandwich so I saved it for later and didn't touch the cookie. Thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich on croissant bread & broccoli! I always have a Yeti with iced water or Coke Zero in my cup holder so no need to order a drink at those outlandish prices. I love their sandwiches but you can order scoops too. They offer Pimento Cheese too. Another favorite is their soups. Potato is quite good, Chicken Poblano is tasty and spicy but not too much. Use the App & scan for rewards/points, get alerts about special deals & offers. Worth it! read more

I haven't been here in many months after wearing myself out of it when it was new to the area. . I always get a buffalo barclay sandwich with mac and cheese and potato soup. The sandwich was fine, cookie was delicious. I seem to remember the Mac and cheese being closer to chick fila's Rich flavor and with real cheese, but this was mushy flavorless goop close to kfc Mac. Continuing my ONLY FIRSTS IN '24 Journey, I landed at Chicken Salad Chick ... without knowing what to expect on the menu or any recommendations, at the end of the day my experience at Chicken Salad Chick was nothing short of delightful. I ordered a Chicken Salad BLT with the Olivia's Old Fashioned Chicken Salad and a Turkey club (to share, LOL). Both were symphonies of flavor, showcasing the freshness and quality of ingredients. The chicken salad, a star in its own right, had the perfect blend of savory and creamy notes, making each bite a pretty decadent indulgence. The Turkey Club was equally impressive, with the layers of ingredients which harmonized seamlessly. And it was loaded with Turkey! As equally praiseworthy were the the macaroni and cheese which was everything a good homemade mac-n-cheese should taste and feel like, rich and comforting. And I failed to take notice of the lemonade brand until after leaving and tasting, but it was delicious and a refreshing balance to the savory dishes. The attention to detail and commitment to quality at Chicken Salad Chick were evident in every aspect of my meal. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere added to the overall positive experience and Denise was awesome in providing extraordinary service! I had no idea there would be such great selection of chicken salads and I am glad I was so wrong about this. There's probably a dozen different flavors of chicken salad along with big selection of sides and soups. The whole concept at this restaurant makes me feel like I'm eating healthy, or at least healthier. Nothing is fried nothing is greasy, it's fresh made and delicious. It's a cute little restaurant with outdoor seating in a drive-thru. I can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit more so I can enjoy lunch outside. Yes I'm planning for a return trip, quite a few times because it is that good. If you haven't given this place a shot yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

The food was great. I always get the classic Carol half sandwich with toasted white bread and some mac & cheese. I also like the marshmallow bar and baked potato soup. However, the staff is rude and seem forced. They are always very dry and sometimes rude. I started going back here after a while and just had some questions, and I felt rushed at the drive-thru. Also, why can't the Mac n cheese be added as an included side with half a sandwich? Also, this is the updated part of the review. I went today and asked for the mac & cheese with half a sandwich again, they proceeded to get upset with me. They explained to me that they probably gave me the kids meal version even though the past two times there was no issue with me ordering it like this. They said they can also apparently get in trouble for this, why was able to do this twice and why now is there an issue? Very misleading. Ambience is definitely oriented toward the ladies, but the food is a great spin on the "traditional" chicken salad. I've now tried all 12 varieties along with the "seasonal" varieties offered during the Christmas season. While all don't appeal to my taste, they have all been good. Particularly recommend the grape salad (side) and the watermelon iced tea. For a place that has been voted the #1 restaurant in America before, it was a lovely experience! This location is a little over 30 mins away from me, which is beyond the distance I'm willing to drive for a meal in the middle of the week, but as it was my birthday week I decided to treat myself. And I am so glad that I did. I can say that everything about the experience eating here was pleasant. For one the fact that I arrived here after 7pm and they close at 8pm, yet there was a steady influx of customers speaks to just how popular they are. There was one person in line behind me and I felt bad for them a little because I knew I was going to ask a bunch of questions because I've been looking forward to coming here and it is out the way so I was going to ask the right questions to make sure I got something I liked. With that being said, the man taking my order was very helpful and patient. I know I took at least 5 mins to order yet he was cool answering all of the questions I had. I generally hate when the kiosk asks if I'd like to tip when I'm not dealing with a waiter but the service he provided paired with the amount of questions I had led me to leave a tip. Again I had to drive a distance to eat here so I went in knowing that I was going to be ordering food to eat there as well as being able to bring some home, because there is no telling when the next time will be that I want to make the trek. To keep things balanced, I ordered a cold and a hot sandwich. I went with a build your own for the cold sandwich and went with turkey and roast beef for meats, deli provolone for cheese, spring lettuce, roasted red peppers, red onion, olive smear and house marinated pepper blend for toppings, sub oil, spicy deli mustard and basil pesto (on the side) for extras, all on a crusty Italian roll for the bread. For the hot sandwich I went with the chicken parm and added light red onions to it. I also made my first sandwich a combo with chips and a drink. They serve Pepsi products for the fountain drinks and Zapp's products for the chips. One pet peeve I do have with places is that when I order an additional meat and don't feel like I got extra but instead just less of my other meat to make up for my extra. That is how I feel about the pastrami that I had added to my cold sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good. I wouldn't say that they were the best sandwiches I've ever had but they were solid. The cold sandwich was my creation so take that as you will. The flavors on it was all good, but nothing shooting over the moon to me. All of the food on the sandwich looked and tasted fresh. The hot sandwich is one of theirs with a slight add from me and it again was good but the flavor didn't just jump out for me. Making a chicken parm exceptional takes some work so I'm not mad at what they serve and it is cooked and served with an excellent broil on it. The bread on both sandwiches I will say was a stand out because it held up and had a good crust and chew while still being soft. I will say that I wasn't able to try many of their menu favorites because I don't eat pork, so some of those may be even more delicious. No complaints on any of the flavor but wouldn't have been made at a few more unctuous notes to the palate. I also got the cannoli which was cool. Nothing significant but I'm not mad that I got it. I would also like to note that the bathroom is kept very nice and smells well. I'm 90% sure that someone was blowing up the toilet before I went in yet it didn't stink when I went in. Not sure if they just sprayed a lot or the upkeep but either way kudos. I generally would've gotten food like this to go, but given the distance and that I wanted to get as fresh of a food experience as I can I did dine in. Getting there at the end of the day I was there as they were closing up. As they closed up the staff kept a respectable distance from me as I ate as to not disturb my food with the cleaning. Now that I've eaten here I can honestly say that I get why it has so much hype. Though I wasn't wowed by the food I was wowed by the service and the food was delicious. I'm not sure of when I'll next make the trip here but I do know that I'll feel confident that it will be a meal well enjoyed when I do. Thought I posted this review lol so I'll add to it since I returned again. Again great service and delicious food. The food here is so good and the location is so out of the way that both times I've gone I've left with 2 sandwiches for myself. I again got a Chicken Parm in all of it's deliciousness but this time made my cold BYO sandwich into a hot one and OMG was it banging! This place serves up deliciousness with ease.

I also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie, or at least that's what they said it was. It had no cream in it and appeared to be a coconut custard pie not that different than the one I make at home. Not sure if every employee hates customers, but the cashier and the drink person were RUDE and disrespectful- other cashier was snarky because I didn't know if my daughter's friend wanted her bread toasted or not and she starts yelling at me to go to the end of the line if I'm not ready (I had already ordered 2 meals and working on the 4rd). So I made the decision for M and headed over to get drinks (that were pre made &watered down) and was belittled for asking for half sweet half unsweetened tea- because they just don't do that. Food wasn't great, and I requested no bacon on my food, and all they did was remove the ba on!
