Superb customer service! This is the second time that I have come here since discovering this little hidden gem and both times I have been greeted and served by the friendliest and most helpful employees. The donuts are fresh and the selection was great. My son who loves chocolate was happy to see there were many types to choose from. We ended up getting a dozen donuts and thankfully their price per dozen is still low compared to other places that gouge you. This will definitely be our new little spot. I also saw that they serve sandwiches, ice cream, and shakes. I will definitely have to try it out on our next visit.

Randomly grabbed these for my husband/sister's birthday and so glad I did! They have a lot of different flavors to try and I really like the variety in texture (there are more cakey ones and more doughy ones). The employees were so sweet and gave me an extra one to try one of their more popular flavors. My favorite personally was actually the orange one but I liked all of them overall :)

Family friendly service at this popular shop near LAX. They have a few tables inside if you decide on relaxing and enjoying your sweet treats while you sip some coffee. This time around I ordered the ham & cheese croissant with added jalapenos which was pretty good. This is also Lotto central for many customers.

Good selection of donuts still available at 10:30 on a Sunday.

Solid cherry French cruller. The menu said it was $1.50 but was charged $1.75, so maybe the prices went up and they haven't updated the menu yet?

The shop is small but cute! It could use a paint job I guess, but when you're dealing with fried food you kinda want a shop that's a little weathered, cause like, if a shop is spotless, it means they're not very busy. There's never really a line here, and when there is, theres never a long wait. The parking situation is kinda weird to be honest, but everyone who comes here is in and out within a few minutes. So how are the donuts? Oh buddy, simple the best glazed donut I've had in a few years. Big, fluffy, not doughy, not over cooked, simply just a mouth melter. I'm not sure who said donuts are empty calories but ignore that: you get a real solid satisfaction from every donut here. Something they advertise that isn't mentioned enough on Yelp or Google is the Giant Donut! You need to place the order one or two days in advance, but you get to choose your icing and toppings. It's really cheap for what it is (just $15.50 as of 2024), and it's just oh so delicious. I got one for my birthday yesterday and I've just about devoured it. It's not as poofy as a regular yeast risen donut, but it's every bit as delicious. Anyway if you're alone and need a snack: come in, get a half dozen glazed, go home, and go nuts.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Really unassuming looks from the outside hide a DELICIOUS array of goodies on the inside. Here are my favs: Glazed doughnuts Cake doughnuts (melt in your mouth) Apple fritters Croissants Bookmarked in my doughnut shop list.

While I've been here a few times this is my first formal review. I came with my family one Sunday evening on a hot July day, bypassing several chains on the way, including the new(er) Salt and Straw across the street. The inside is packed to the brim with sweets, small toys, and people, much like a candy shop of old. After reaching the front of the winding line our family shared a Banana Split ($13) - three scoops of ice cream, a split banana, hot fudge, a single dry topping (we chose coconut), whipped cream, and a trio of cherries - about as classic as it comes. The ice cream was good but not exceptional. The chocolate and strawberry were fairly generic, but I liked the third scoop of banana foster ice cream which had a nice banana kick. I doubt this ice cream is home made. The complements and construction to the sundae were great, however, and the flavors came together well. As I would hope for a location like this, the staff are local youths who served with patience and passion. In cases throughout the store are several of their other specialties - ice cream cookie sandwiches, dipped frozen bananas, and more - inviting repeat visits. Prices are elevated but not crazy for such a trendy area, although I would say with the middling quality of the ice cream a couple dollars less would be fine. Overall, Manhattan Beach Creamery is a local landmark worth at least a single visit for anyone in the area. If you can get past the generic, if a little boring, ice cream flavor and rampant commodification of the interior, you'll find a classic ice cream parlor with great service and history. Is it worth a repeat visit? I leave that to you. Food: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5
