Popped into Digby's while on a bike ride (hey, I worked off some calories, I deserve a little splurge, right?), they're tucked away on the outer edge of the San Ramon Marketplace. Even around 11am on this weekday they still had a decent selection of donuts. I got a blueberry cake and it was great! Sadly, the customer service and quality have gone downhill. We recognize the need to increase costs at this time... That's more than fine. But when you have provided a perk for more than a decade of throwing at least a couple of donut holes in on any purchase of more than one donut, and then not only do you take it away, but shame somebody for asking about it, it's a really bad look. Maybe put up a sign that says due to price increases. You can no longer offer the traditional amenity of a few donut holes with your order... Don't shame somebody for asking about it. If you are expecting to be busy, make more. Don't continue to raise prices and take away perks, and then blame the person who's buying the donuts for asking about it. I have been a Digbys customer since the Whole Foods was on Alcosta. It's very sad to see them like this now. I went in a few weeks ago and I was very excited to try their gourmet donuts as I had seen on Yelp. Apple Maps GPS continued to send me to the wrong location so I walked a few minutes to get there. Oreo raised donut (4/5) - a little doughy, but the amount of toppings on this donut was plentiful! Fruity pebbles raised (5/5) - this was a personal fave of mine! The fruity pebbles never fell off bc I think they glazed it in a way that they did not fall off! Perfectly light and fluffy donut with a crunch! Ube old-fashioned (5/5) - It is made with fresh taro!
