Had a sweets craving and boy did this satisfy it. We got the ube cheesecake and the chocolate with cocoa nibs and they were absolutely scrumptious. The filling on the ube cheesecake was so good. Each donut is ginormous and super heavy though so we were only able to eat half of each! The dough is very dense and chewy which I loved. Would love to try the other flavors!

These donuts were amazing! We got the ube cheesecake and the dulce de leche. I loved both! Dulce de leche was much messier but worth it.

Maybe the doughnuts are better in the main locations, but I've been to this stand in Urbanspace many times (as it's conveniently on my way to work) and have found the doughnuts here pretty lackluster. I don't know why everyone keeps recommending them to me. The dough is plain, thick, and covered by glaze that is stingingly sweet and doesn't taste like the advertised flavor. The top portion tends to be dry, while the bottom is often dripping with grease, as if they left the doughnuts sitting in a cold puddle of oil after taking them out of the fryer. They are the largest and most dense doughnuts I've had of this type in NYC (the ones at Doughnut Plant and Doughnut Project are lighter, more flavorful, and more moist) - almost at a bagel level of carb density. Probably great for carb loading before running a marathon or any exercise that burns thousands of calories immediately. The service is also a hit or miss. Today they gave me my doughnut and proceeded to take care of several large orders from customers behind me before preparing my tea. As a result, I had to stand there for 10 mins holding my doughnut, anxious about getting back to work, for them to take 2 seconds to fill a cup with hot water. I've tried several flavors and none of my experiences here justified the $4.50 price. These oversized, greasy, plain-tasting lumps of dough are definitely not worth the calories.

The donuts here are MASSIVE! Don't worry about the price because two people can easily share one of their doughnuts I got the dulce de leche and the cheesecake doughnuts. The dulce de leche isn't pictured because it was eaten too quickly. I preferred the dulce de leche because the flavor on top seemed to melt into the doughnut. Minus 1 star only because the doughnuts are not made fresh throughout the day and the inside texture was on the thick side

We had the hardest time finding this place. Glad we finally got here though because it was awesome! The doughnuts are really big and have a dense "chew" to them. Almost like a really airy bagel. Upon the recommendation of the super friendly employees we got the passion fruit one. It had a great tangy/ sweet flavor. So different from any other doughnuts I've had. I absolutely loved every bite of it. Seriously, who goes to a doughnut shop and just gets ONE doughnut to SHARE?!? Well, I did that day. We had a day of eating ahead and Dough was the 3rd place we'd been to before 10:30 am. But, it was so yummy I know I'll go back to try others. Maybe I'll even try the classic glazed just for fun.

Not really my type of donuts..ordered the cafe au lait and lemon poppy donut.. I think out of both of these donuts the lemon poppy was decent, it might've been a bit too tangy for me versus what I'm use to lemon poppy for what it is known as. The cafe au lait is probably not my best choice, it taste very dark and bitter. There are different varieties of donuts to choose from so maybe if you're interested in trying something rather than my choices then you should. -located inside of Urbanspace, lots of restaurants inside -customer service was average Tips* for a donut shop, water would definitely be recommended, maybe like free water cups or some sort *sampling donuts would be great as well because the donuts are pretty big and it would be a waste of money if you don't finish it.

Dat Donut dough. NYC has some of the best doughnuts in the world, and Dough is the place to get them. But not this one. The original location in the heart of Brooklyn. I am a massive fan of Dough - the original location in Brooklyn. This one isn't half as good and there are plenty of different reasons for that. One main reason is that original locations are always (almost always) better. Another reason is that I don't think they put as much love into the franchise locations as they do the donuts at the original place. But maybe I'm on crack and I don't know what I'm talking about. Or I may not be on crack but I definitely love eating crack. All I know is that when I stop in Brooklyn they taste like perfection and when I stop here they're good but not orgasmic. Maybe it's all in my head, much like the funny voices telling me to harm other Yelpers.

After eating a disappointing donut from another location, I was craving a donut...so bad and yet so good. Since I was by Grand Central, I swing by Urbanspace since Dough is there. So many choices to choose from. I went for special of the day: raspberry praline. Chocolate dipped donut surrounded by praline with raspberry topping. So chocolately and delicious...a light donut so you don't feel it's heavy. Tried to save 1/2 the donut...nope, it's all gone. One issue is that the chocolate can get everywhere. Get some napkins before it happens.

Dough donuts has to be one of the best donut places I've ever tried. Their dough, true to their name, is so soft and fluffy. I ordered the cafe au lait and the staff told me it was his favorite donut. There's some espresso in it giving it some of the rich coffee flavor but there are also some crunchy bits in the glaze that provide a nice textural element in contrast to the soft dough. Additionally, I didn't think the glaze was overly sweet, so I didn't feel like I was in a sugar cone afterwards. They offer a unique variety of donuts which are much different to the typical flavors you see in most donut shops. If you get the chance, stop by and try a few including the hibiscus and cafe au lait!

Not a fan. Got the chocolate salted caramel. Yeah the donut is huge, but it's mostly cake and that part was super dry. I'm all for salted caramel but the salt chunks were very overpowering.

The donuts were stale and mostly flavors less. Had it 4 years ago and was looking forward to having them again but I was disappointed.

The glazed donut was dry and the Nutella donut was way too sweet. Not inedible but not worth the $7.

The shop has a retro vibe reminiscent of a 1950s diner, offering a wide range of pastries, sandwiches, and breakfast options, making it a beloved local fixture for over 60 years. During a visit to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, I decided to explore the local food scene. As I researched, this donut shop kept coming up as a top favorite among locals. My daughter and I stepped inside, and it was buzzing with activity. The place had a nostalgic feel, and it's a cash-only establishment. There are so many donuts to choose from, but my daughter went with a Red Velvet, while I opted for a Sugar Raise--a classic sugar donut because it was my first time here and I wanted something simple. The donuts were decent. The Sugar Raise wasn't extraordinary, but it was fresh. I gave my daughter's Red Velvet a try, but it didn't quite hit the mark; instead of a subtle cocoa-vanilla flavor, it was pretty heavy on the chocolate. The service was friendly, and I'm glad we took the chance to visit this longstanding bakery, which has been around for more than six decades.

The problem with massive strawberries is eating them. If I had a knife, I could cut them into smaller pieces as eating them on a skewer stick got really messy. Also the strawberry itself overpowered any of the chocolate taste, so it didn't balance well in terms of taste. For sure favored the milk chocolate over the dark chocolate.

Filled donuts are bursting at the seams with custard that tastes like egg yolks, cream, sugar, vanilla and little else. The orange cream cheese donut is generously frosted with, I'd guess, a mixture of cream cheese, marmalade, powdered sugar, and cream. Based on what we've tried, the donuts at Caroline's are old fashioned, unadulterated and excellent. I recently picked up four donuts for the fambly: the aforementioned orange cream cheese, creme brulee, Boston cream, and raspberry glaze donuts. This was in the afternoon around 4 p.m. and all of them were perfectly, wondrously fresh. The person at the counter (the male proprietor, I think) assured me in his charming French accent that they freshly fry donuts several times a day. Creme brulee was the fan favorite with the hard, crisp, sugar shell on top cracking delicately under a knife to reveal a loose, rich, custardy filling. But across the board, donuts were beautifully made (both aesthetic and delicious!), and well frosted / glazed / filled. The raspberry glaze by itself was a touch too sweet for our tastes, but applied with restraint so the overall effect was balanced. We are not in the donut market very often, but have had this place bookmarked ever since my esteemed Yelp colleague, Alan S., reviewed it last year. Now that we've tried these beauties, I think we're going to find many excuses to be back (e.g. for Hannukah sufganiyot, anything round for Lunar New Year, anything fried for Diwali, anything that can support a candle for birthdays, etc...).We really like this place and we suspect you will, too.

The glaze twist is one of my favorites. It's wonderfully sweet while not cloying, and I especially enjoy topping it with the Bon Mama berry jam I have at home. The Boston creme is truly made with love. It's sufficiently stuffed with creme and topped with a thick layer of chocolate ganache - the expensive stuff! The coffee donut is also delicious. Of everything I've tried, the strawberry filled was my favorite. You can tell their strawberry compote is homemade and not too sweet. The dough is light and fluffy and generously coated with granulated sugar. What a treat!
