This has become the place we go to when we want good Italian, yes its mainly a pizzeria. They do pizza great I would say best In the area even! But their pastas are also a must try. I f you would have told me I would be someday ordering Pizza with a side of spaghetti I would have told you: "that makes no sense". But here it makes perfect sense! The staff here feels like they know you, they are cool personal and always attentive. They make sure you get what you need fast and good and check regularly to see how they can make it better. The place itself is as New York Italian as you can get. Two big TVs play random stuff (today was old episodes of the price is right, great show BTW) with subtitles while breakdancing music plays in the background. You can hear the bustle of the kitchen and the occasional laughter or screaming match. The Pizza Perfectly cooked! The Vodka sauce is the best I ever had. Creamy and flavorful with the cheese it just drips!!! addictive! Their red sauce is fantastic just the right amount of acidity from the tomato not too salty or sweet . The Brooklyn pizza is a whole thing. The dough is crunchy and fluffy and messy and the peperoni crunchy and salty. Like I said you must try the spaghetti with marinara sauce even if just as a side its beauty in simplicity form and I had their Chicken parmigiana with the spaghetti and it was perfection. Small place as far as an eat in resturant, but on a Saturday night around 7pm a 20 min wait was not bad for the 4 of us. Wings were 7.5/10, supreme pizza 8.0/10, pepperoni 8.0/10, service was a solid 10/10. Hate to do an update like this but I think it's important so that not only others are aware but so that owners/workers can be more vigilant about things like this. We came in Saturday, around 11:45ish. We ordered two large pizzas, 1 was the Vodka Margarita and the other was the Brooklyn Sicilian with pepperoni. Everything tasted great, service was great as usual but a little while after we finished, someone in our group started complaining about stomach pain, and not long after we had to make a rest stop. About an hour later my other friend had the same thing happen, and I thought I was free and clear, but I started to get an upset stomach, heart burn and other issues at night, and hardly got any sleep. Is it a coincidence that it happened to all of us after having eaten here? You be the judge, all I know is that I'm probably not coming back to relive that incident again. We have some pizza wizards here because doughboyz has hands down the best ny style pizza in all of Florida and beats even nyc institutions that have become touristy like joes pizza and scars pizza. The crust is perfect as well no floppy with stability just like how'd you get in nyc, the sauce while not as sweet was still 10/10 better than any pizza in Orlando. We got a small pepperoni pie as well as two slices both vodka and pepperoni and all of it was great even the small pie which is not a nyc slice, also we didn't feel stuffed or bloated like other places which surprised us. Helloooooo gorgeous! You may either love me or hate me, but I'm a total pizza purist. I enjoy toppings but my true love is for a basic cheese pizza (although I'm a Jersey girl and still call it "plain pizza"). The sauce on DoughBoyz pizza just keeps me coming back. I love the thin the crust, the perfect slathering of cheese, and that sauce is just chef's kiss. That being said, I'm only allowed to order it when my husband is traveling. I've had it at least 10x (all delivery), and it just hasn't been consistent every time. The irony being is that it has been overcooked each time my husband has been home to share it (2x). So now I order it for myself every time he travels and indulge in this glorious, guilty pleasure for days on end. ;-) If you're looking for a perfect, pure pizza, this is the spot. This was my 2nd time at Dough Boys. I was hoping for a better experience because I like the vibe and staff is friendly. Like the first time I was there, their food delivery timing is off. My daughter's Pesto Chicken wrap came out way before the other meals. She said the sandwich was very oily leaving a puddle of oil in the bottom of the basket which made the fries soggy. My Sicilian pizza was served warm as if they started with a frozen shell. When the bill came, when I questioned a discrepancy in the charge, the waitress said that is a service charge. When I asked her what percentage the charge was, she replied that she didn't know and walked away. I can't recommend this spot nor will they ever see me there again. read more

Just now realizing I haven't left a review for the best pizza spot I've ever had. This pizza is amazing everything down to their pasta. I've came here probably about ten times. The waitresses are amazing, the young girl at the cashier is the sweetest. And every time I come I get the same server and she's the best, quick, and sweet. The cheese pizza is amazing, the fettuccine and even the vodka pasta is delicious. I even got to try a lasagna slice and to say the least it was actually pretty good! I'll start off by saying the restaurant is in a good area, plenty of parking, the aesthetics inside are nice, the pizza is beautiful to look at but... That's where the positives stop. This was by far one of the grossest pizzas that I've ever had the misfortune of trying. The sauce tasted like someone took the pasta sauce from Chef Boyardee and dumped a pound of sugar in it. There's really no other way to describe it. It was definitely a new experience, an unpleasant one, and one that sent more than one of us to the bathroom to pray for a quick end. Oh boy oh boy ! Glad this place won our coin toss for dinner tonight. We decided to dine in and I'm glad we did as service was quiet and friendly. Lots of people picking up there to go orders so we knew it had to be good. We ordered a large half Margherita/ half BBQ pizza and a Greek salad and all were so so good! Officially my new favorite pizza spot in the Orlando area. DoughBoyz has been getting a lot of hype on social media, so I decided to make the trip to see if it held up. About 45 minutes away, and the drive was well worth it We ordered ahead - the hot grandma and a chicken parm sub. We were starving, so we ate a slice as soon as we got in the car. Extremely thin, extra crispy, and cooked to absolute perfection. A little spice in the sauce, accompanied by the red pepper flakes on top. Not too much cheese so the slices actually hold up. It was perfection. I do recommend eating the pizza fresh. Once we were home, it was still good, but the crunch did fade as expected. The chicken parm sub was also top tier. Decent sauce, and the roll steamed in the foil making it soft and chewy. The chicken was still juicy, and just the right amount of cheese too. The staff was friendly - what you expect from a small shop. A classic slice style counter, so not a ton of space but it doesn't even matter. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. read more

DoughBoyz Pizza is located on a small shopping plaza and overall, is a decent enough place for pizza. They brag about their crust and it is a pretty good crust. The sauce was a bit sweet, but not bad. I also would have preferred it a bit more well-done, but again, not bad. The restaurant is small, but I think it is more geared for takeout. The service was friendly. Two things that I think bear noting. The couple ahead of me tried ordering a slice of something that normally have and at just a bit after five o'clock, they were told that they were not making anymore pizzas to sell by the slice, so be advised on that. Also, if you want to use a credit card, they told me my large pizza, which out the door with tax was eighteen dollars, they would add a dollar. The meatball parmesan sub was a good nice and loaded with meatballs but the meatballs weren't good at all. They lacked flavor and were mushy, so as you're trying to eat the sub it's falling apart. Love this place so much that get a taste for it at least twice a month. My favorite is the Grandma Sicilian with the pesto sauce, it's so flavorful. We also love the meatballs, the sauce is good and they are full of meat. They get really busy on Friday nights but it's worth the wait. We saw DoughBoyz Pizza on social media and had to try it out. We loved the table with the map of New York and the artwork on the walls. The music definitely was a 80s/90s vibe. We ordered a Greek Salad and a large Half BBQ Chicken & Half Margherita pizza. The Greek salad was good. You can tell the salad dressing was homemade. It took maybe 5 to 10 minutes to get the pizza. Both styles of pizza were great. I loved the Honey Mustard combo with the BBQ sauce on the BBQ Chicken Pizza. Definitely need to come back to try more styles of DoughBoyz Pizza. read more

5 stars for a great first visit! We've been wanting to try DoughBoyz Pizza but haven't had a chance to make it out. We finally did on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, it was pretty busy inside and we came for a late lunch. For food we ordered the Grandma Sicilian (only comes in one size) for $23.99. It's a square pizza, with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto drizzle. The flavors were so nice together! It does take a good 20 to 25 minutes, so keep that in mind if you're hungry! We started with arancini balls, I saw others post about them but I didn't see them on the menu. They have them normally but you have to ask and they are quite substantial, a little on the pricer side (around $7 each) but it definitely brought be back to our trip to Sicily! Went there on a Friday night. The place was packed with a 15-minute wait to sit. I ordered to go. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Since it was dinnertime, they were running low on slices, so I didn't try the cheese. I was pleasantly surprised that they used cupped pepperoni on their pies. Usually, I don't see cupped pepperoni unless it's on a detroit style or Donatos/Masseys (call out to CBUS)! I was really there for the square pie... I wanted to try either the Grandma's or Brooklyn, so I went with the one that looked sumptuous. Due to a mix-up, they give me an Arancini on the house. If you've read my prior pizza reviews, you'll know I favor NY style and Neopolitan as I'm a ny Italian. But i do love me some Chicago & Detroit style. So how was it? And does it represent authentic NY style pizza? HELL YES! For me, there are several aspects in reviewing a pizza 1. It can't have any toppings to mask the inherent flavors of the dough, sauce, and cheese 2. Round vs. Square/Rectangle represent different tastes, and I'll review them separately Round Pepperoni Ok, so I would normally go for cheese, but it wasn't available 1. Dough. Excellent flavor, just too thin for a typically NY slice. It felt more like a tavern style pizza, but it folded well 8/10 2. Sauce. Nice flavor, tasted authentic 9/10 3. Cheese. This is what separates NY style pizza. I feel pies out on the island are a bit more greasier...if you can fold the slice and oil drips out, that is a difderen e maker. For me, I find a bit more grease enhances the flavor. Here it was excellent 10/10 Great mouth feel Added.bonus. Cupped Pepperoni. Holy crap it was good. 11/10 Brooklyn pie Dough. Typical for a Square pizza is a thicker crust. Sicilian would be typically thicker than Grandma's, so I thought I would try that. I thought the thickness was very good. The one area that could have been better is more of a garlic taste. 8/10 Cheese. The cheese was underneath the sauce and complimented the pie. 10/10. Sauce. This is the ingredient that makes or breaks this type of pie....The sauce was fresh tasting and fairly plain. It tasted as if it came out of a can [don't know). There was a slight tinny flavor. I would suggest adding a little oregano and/or basil and salt. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. 8/10 Overall. Omg, this is very good. There are very few places in Orlando that cam even come close to what Doughboyz constructed. Excellent job! Extra bonus Arancini ball. Omg. What a delight. Like buttah. It did. Ot even need the side of sauce.
