Wow! This pizza is different and it's not the water (that's their motto) So we ended up here by chance literally I like the name. It's a small location. They have three tables, but let me tell you that to go business.....The line was out the door.! Pizza was fantastic, service was quick and it's a cute small place! It is small for handicap chairs but manageable if necessary it's in a small strip center. Finally tried Dough Boyz Pizza and overall really enjoyed it! We ordered a small supreme pizza, honey mustard wings, and the chicken parm garlic knot sandwich. The star of the meal for me was definitely the supreme pizza. The toppings were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the crust had a really good texture. The honey mustard wings were flavorful and something a little different, and the chicken parm garlic knot sandwich was fun to try. Driving around and we found this little gem, first of all we didn't expect to drive all the way to Longwood? lol because we were flipping the coin where we gonna have Chinese or Pizza? we went to this place. my wife called first and when we got there, it's a little hole in the wall set up, but the food does not disappoint. My wife and I ordered two slices each of lasagna pizza andjust to let all you guys know they're special is two slices and you got a free fountain drink you need to ask for Nick when you go there he is an awesome person all around. I was so satisfied that I ordered a Brooklyn style Sicilian pie to go which is mozzarella and provolone topped with homemade sauce which we call it back in New York upside down Sicilian. Great pizza for Florida with consistently excellent service. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a nice atmosphere. I've visited several times because it's one of the few decent pizzerias around. However, the dough tends to be quite dry. It lacks the airy, crispy texture and the nice stretch that you'd expect from an authentic New York or Brooklyn slice. While the owner claims it's not about the water, I have to disagree. This pizzeria does stand out among others in Florida, but if you're looking for that true New York experience, I'd have to say no. Maybe good for NJ pizza. read more

Best pizza I've tried in a minute! NY style with a thinner, perfectly balanced dough that isn't too crispy or ok chewy. We got the Philly cheese steak pizza 16" we took half the pizza home so it can definitely feed 4 people. While the pizzas form was exactly like New York, I do have to say it was a dry crust. The pizza itself was interesting, I do wish we tried their regular cheese or pepperoni pizza rather than a specialty. The Philly cheese steak pizza felt more like a cheese burger pizza. Let me start this review by saying that I have had Doughboyz Pizza and enjoyed it in the past but they must've been having a really off night. Here are the details of my order: * Garlic Knots (terrible): the knots were burnt on the bottom and tasted liked bitter burnt garlic. Nasty. * The Brooklyn Sicilian (flavorless & stale): the dough tasted stale. The pizza had no flavor. I tried to doctor it with garlic powder, salt, & pepper but it didn't help. My mom brought home a cheese calzone from here & it was so good. The crust had a light buttery taste, sauce was very good & it was huge. I had been wanting to try something there after checking out the menu. So one day I decided I needed to try the garlic roll Chicken Parm appetizer. OMG it was delicious!! It's thin cutlets on a huge garlic roll. Can't wait to try their pizza next. What I also liked was when you going they were playing old school freestyle music. I didn't experience any of the taste or smell issues another reviewer mentioned. There's only two tables t this location, so do plan on takeout. Extremely disappointed, it was my wife's first time. After me raving how amazing this place is, we asked to be seated to dine in. 7-8 people in the kitchen and not a single person decided to come to our table. We waited 15 plus minutes. They only have 3 tables, and not a single employee came to take our order. I have been to the Oviedo location many times, but I will not return to the longwood location. We ordered 2 pizzas and returned home to find one was made incorrectly. I called and they offered a remake which we accepted- this also meant we had to go back out to pick up another pizza while the one at home was in the oven warming. Definitely an inconvenience and taking the freshness away from the first one. The first pizza was a pepperoni and onion. The price to add onion was $3.99 and there wasn't more than a dozen small slices of onion on the whole pie. (This was a 12") the second pie (a 16") was a vegetable with 2 proteins added. The total for the 2 pizzas was more than $50 and we had to pick up (twice because of the mistake.) We found the crust tough and the toppings sparse. This just wasn't a good experience. read more

I was really excited to try this new local restaurant because it had a lot of social media presents and who doesn't love a good slice. Well not my kids so as soon as I had the opportunity to go without them, I snuck away to try a slice. A bit indecisive because all the options look so good from pepperoni pizza to a buffalo ranch pizza to maybe a Bianca pizza, I wanted to play it safe, so just got the traditional pepperoni pizza. I paid cash for my food and then the same person who took the cash that I just paid proceeded to pinch the crust of the slice of pizza that was to be prepared for me with her bare hands. I was shook it and stood there for two minutes , literally questioning. Is this even still a thing that people are handling food without gloves?? I finally calm down enough to ask her to please get me a fresh slice that she did not touch with her bare hands. Instead of apologizing, she got frustrated that I asked for her, not to put her bare hands on the pizza that I was going to consume after she had been operating the register and cash, she turns it back to whisper to the gentleman preparing the pizza, he says it's no problem and grabs a fresh slice of pizza. But I also noticed prior to me asking for the new slice of pizza. He was preparing to put the nasty in a nice to go box for my to go order to keep my pizza, nice and fresh while I went to my destination, but then decided to change it to a paper plate in a paper bag after my request. I just walked out at that point. Disrespectful. I don't know how good the pizza is, but I do know it looks good. I will not be trying this restaurant again based off the lack of attention to detail to customer experience. I did not wait for the food and I did not ask for a refund.
