This was our first experience with Douglas Jeep. I had one last oil change on the Mopar contract so we made an appointment for 11am. Unfortunately, they never even pulled the Jeep in until close to 1pm. The Service Manager said they were short handed. We also had a slow leak in one of our tires. They found a finishing nail and patched it for us at no charge. We were there for 3 hours, but they made it right. We have a couple of free oil changes coming our way. read more

Now, I am a happy owner of a Cadillac. I brought my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland ( which I loved ) to Douglas Jeep for a thermostat replacement. They kept my Jeep for 3 full days until I called them to ask if it was ready. They told me that they didn't have the thermostat in stock. . They said come back in a week or so. I did. And again, they have my Jeep for 3 full days until I called them to ask if it was ready. (Get this... ) they said they hadn't got to it yet. Unbelievable. I asked for my car back, and I drove across the street to the Cadillac dealer. Bought a Cadillac right there and then. I should add that CR (consumer reports) have just ranked Jeep as the worst car brand based on reliability and customer satisfaction) Comparing the service departments of Cadillac and Jeep is like comparing night and day. At Jeep, you're cramped in this narrow passage while the service tech's are scrambling answering phones and pushing paper, while you wait in a line with other customers. My fourth time to this place for service, never had a problem before, the service was always on point. Today I went in for an express oil change and a tire rotation. I did not notice until I got home that the mechanic chipped all four of my black rhino powder coated rims. To Chip the powder coating on those rims, you have to smack them with the impact wrench really hard. What a jerk ( Tech 009192 ) I called the service department to make them aware of the situation and what had happened with my vehicle, she told me to hold on for their manager. Straight to voicemail. I did leave a message with the manager and a phone number to reach me, but you already know how this will end. read more

HORRIBLE AND DECEITFUL!!!! I brought my vehicle there for service which was a nightmare in itself. While my truck was there it was tightly parked outside for a couple of weeks. When I recieved my truck back, it had two scratches towards the rear, I had scratches in my tint and the doors panels were not secured at all and just hung on the door. One of the rear scratches was very deep and I expressed my disappointment with the service crew (who were helpful to a point). Management now... at this dump is abhorrent. They have a phone recording about how this is a family dealership blah blah blah... I would look for another dealership to purchase a vehicle from. If you have a problem, good luck with these lying, dishonest "family oriented" idiots. I have an extended warranty through a private company and these customer service jokesters could care less about my vehicle. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!! Customer service is beyond fabulous! Jeff the mechanic is the BEST ever! He fixed my car when the top wouldn't go up and 2 months after he fixed it when it wouldn't go down. Actually it would go down but not for me. Jeff is very kind, considerate and all about pleasing the customer. I could go to Punta Gorda for service, its about 20 miles round trip closer but I think Douglas is far better at customer service. Kudos to the others in the service dept. too. read more

Won't be back - ever again! Had an appt. for an oil change/tire rotation today. Arrived 5 min early for the appt. and was told by service adviser (Denise) that it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. (Note - their waiting room is closed, which might have been useful info when I made the appt.) After waiting over 30 minutes, Jeep (which was purchased at Douglas Jeep) still had not been moved into the garage. I found Denise and asked her what the point of making an appt was at which time she responded very sarcastically with "I don't know, but I told you it was going to be over an hour". I then asked if the keys were still in it because I didn't plan to wait any longer to which she responded with a long "BYYYYEEEEE"! Went up the street to a different establishment and got the oil changed for $20 cheaper. Not once was Denise apologetic that it would take so long - I'm not sure how Douglas Jeep feels like than can treat people like that and expect to gain their business...I will not be back for anything my Jeep needs - I'd rather drive a half hour to a different dealer. read more

I love Douglas Jeep. I always have my Jeep serviced with Douglas and there is not a dealership that I trust more. They have always taken excellent care of me and my Jeep. I drive 40 minutes and pass 3 Jeep dealerships just to have Douglas look under the hood. I have never had any issues and the service staff know me by name. They know my Jeep inside and out. They really take the time to listen to your needs and try to get to know you personally. The waiting area is comfortable and they love it if you just browse the showroom while you wait. Free WI-FI, snacks, and TV. The parts counter is awesome as well. The service team never lies to you and let you know if it's going to take longer than expected. I know there are a lot of bad reviews about dealerships and how much of a rip off they are but not true at Douglas. They are honest and never try to sell you some profit padding service that you don't need. The prices are great and rest assured their technicians are the best in the business. I highly recommend Douglas Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram to service your vehicle. Don Glen the service manager runs a great team and I am a very happy customer for life. read more

Unless you're a snow bird, don't bother taking your vehicle there for service... They definitely cater to the senior citizens that tend to logjam the process / flow for service. The quality of service there has degenerated in the last year and what would be a simple oil change through the express lane, turns into a two plus hour wait because they are overwhelmed with the 'blue hairs'. Try getting connected through the phone to any of the departments and the half dead receptionist will only disconnect you multiple times... Taking my warranty / service business elsewhere! read more

Extremely poor customer service in the service department. We had a month old Jeep Wrangler towed in because it wouldn't start- was told by our service person nothing was wrong. Treated me like I'm an idiot! Was rude and not helpful. Will never use Douglas Jeep again! Horrible! read more

Simple oilcange but tech forgot to tighten oil filter. Went 1 block before oil pressure down to 4lb. Service tech tried to argue but obvious oil dripping behind and under car finally coined her something was loose.. Another 2 1/2 hours to fix and clean.. read more

Was followed up by Mr. Douglas responding to my complaint. Refunded my money that was charged. Only complaint now is the fact I had to go to social media to get this problem rectified. Think it could have been a lot easier if service manager would have acknowledged my complaints. read more

My son and his girlfriend took his 2007 Dodge truck due to a misfire from cylinder 6. They were visiting there to go to the beach. The truck was towed there. He was treated rudely to begin with. We were given different prices. I drove 3 hours to pick them up and we left the truck. They called and said it would be $1,045 plus tax and they were going to start. Approximately 2 hours later they called and said they fixed it and it ran like a baby for 5 minutes and then the engine blew. They told me an engine would be 5 or 6 thousand and I might want to get an attorney!!!! Our dealership here in Inverness went down and picked it up. They spoke with the service department at Douglas and said nothing made sense. When they looked at it they found that something had been dropped in the vehicle and they had run it so whatever it was blew out the exhaust!!!!! Douglas service manager Don called but nothing happening. I have left messages for Mr. Douglas to call. This has been over a week and I am still waiting. I understand human error happens, but take responsibility for your mistakes. I feel they owe us the price of an engine. I have pictures from where our dealership service center looked at it. They found things that were not done and were told they did at Douglas. I'm not a mechanic, but that truck would not have made it out of Inverness if it had been in that condition. The 2007 truck had 87,000 miles, not enough for a truck to be like that. My son is out of The Army and 22 years old. Thanks Douglas for a job well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! D.
