I'm very very happy they hired Brandon back! My family went here on Jan 16th and all our burgers were burnt. I also had to ask for water 4 times before we finally got them . It was terrible! We went again last weekend giving this place one more chance. I ordered from Brandon. He assured me things would be cooked as ordered. We got our waters promptly followed by salad. When our burger came it was cooked just as we ordered it and the onion rings are the best!! Our lunch was perfect and we were so glad Brandon took care of everything!! First and foremost, this is not a brewery. They do however, have a good selection of microbrews. As far as the food goes, I came here for the vegan burger and it was mediocre at best. No flavor, no seasoning. Patty was barely seared, and the bun was huge. My husband ordered onion rings with his, and he got two. When we got there it was slow and the employees and the cook!!?? were standing around at the bar talking. Awkward. If you choose to sit at a table, you'll have to order your food at the bar as there is no table service. Odd. If you are looking for a brewery, this is not the place. I had dinner here with the family and was looking forward to the meal due to the rave reviews I had heard. Mom/dad had been there before, yet always sat at the bar. This visit, we sat outside under the heat lamps... it was comfortable, however you have to go the bar/front area to order. So that was odd as we had to know what we wanted to eat/drink and then leave our table to order. My corn chowder was delicious. The Caesar salad wasn't. While I appreciated the light layer of dressing and the different ingredients, it lacked flavor and I had to add salt and pepper. I believe others thought their meals were okay. On a sustainability note, I was disappointed to see tartar sauce delivered in a small plastic dish. The restaurant clearly has a dishwasher, so a small metal, glass or ceramic dish would be a reasonable replacement... it would cost the restaurant less in the long run, and save our planet since small plastics cannot be recycled. read more

The place felt very tired, vinyl on booths torn, walls needing painting, windows dirty, silverware dirty, glasses hard water stained. Seems no pride here. Food was ok, boyfriend said his meat was old on sandwich and was in the bathroom within the hour. Food was expensive for value. I got 2 1/2 onion rings as a side, my boyfriend had to send back his overcooked fries. Place was not all that busy. Desperate for good restaurants on the mountain. Experience was disappointing. Someone asked if I complained to management. No I did not. They know their dishes are stained and dirty, their boothes and chairs are torn, the walls marked up, TV not working. Three stars is being generous, simply because it's the only thing around. The beer selection isn't too bad. The food-the go to is the burger and the truffle fries which won't disappoint. The rest of the food is hit or miss, mostly miss though. Next you pay at the counter before being seated, or tasting the food, or evaluating the service, and you're expected to leave a tip. I swore a tip was based on the service... how can a person honestly tip without being served. Lastly... it's Saturday night and they close at 10pm. Pretty early for a brewery. Nonetheless, we arrived at 9:40 and was told it was last call and we would have to hurry and eat. I think we will have to find a new place to enjoy. Like a couple of reviews, this place has a ton of potential. Update: so I came by again hoping things had changed, but low & behold, still the same. Ordered food at the front counter and decided to eat at the bar.... but because I didn't transfer my tab to the bar, I guess I don't get service. So had to ask for silverware (see photo) and had to go to the front to ask for another beer and additional items. I want this place to succeed because it's just down the street from my house, but something has to change. 3/15/19: update review; so I stop in tonight to have a brew and an appetizer. Went to put my points on my DMB rewards app. Come to find out the $50 in points that I have no longer is eligible and they have a new app. Not only did I lose my points, they lost a customer. Had an impromptu lunch after going to the bank. If you like beer...try it. I'm not a drinker, but I am a foodie and I will try anything new. Upon being greeted as I enter the door, I was given a menu since I wanted to sit outside.Great outdoor seating. I was told once we find our seat, I was told to come back and order at the register, was given a number and wait for our food to be delivered to our table.( thought that was quite odd) Food came and it was just ok. We ordered two club sandwiches, one on sourdough , the other on a croissant. I had the salmon sandwich on a croissant. On both sandwiches, the croissant was so small that the filling just came out after two bites. Mind you it wasn't because the feeling was so much, it was small croissant. Surely it wasn't the bakery size. Now the crispy fries for $2, were very good. This is a great place for someone who was just looking for a quick bite to eat and visit with their friends. While I had an awful Experience my first time, burger was so so and I got the wrong side I gave them another chance and had the best vegan burger and tots this time ever BUT $20 for a burger and fries!! But when you feel like you are getting financially beat up just because it's a pricey neighborhood with very few options I can't say go give it a try. Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with my mother. Didn't drink any beer. So this review is only for the restaurant. The model is you order, pay, then eat which we didn't mind. You get a number and then you get traditional table service. Ordered the dip sandwich with onion rings. They ran out of onion rings and offered me flavored fries as a substitute which were fine. My dip was solid loaded with beef and mushrooms along with plenty of dipping sauce. My mother had a loaded hot dog that looked eye popping- almost Chicago style. Cokes refills were offered generously. By 12:30 pm the place was starting to pick up with people enjoying the football games. Will look forward to trying this place again. People need to support local businesses like this one to keep them going. . read more

Dangerous. In this time of Covid none of the servers or staff wear masks or gloves. This is inconsiderate of the customer and dangerous to the public health. We used to drop $100-150 there weekly. No more. It's necessary to come inside and order at the bar where one or two of the staff are generally within a couple feet of the customer. This, even if you plan to sit outside. Then a server, who also has no mask, carries your food to the table - using bare hands that may be leaving virus on your plate and breathing over it the whole way. The server then sets the plates in front of you while leaning forward - likely no more than two feet - all the time being pleasant and polite while breathing on you. Given the information on spread by asymptomatic folks even precautions such moving tables (and there's not much if any of that) or taking temperatures is totally inadequate. It's really a shame that a place we liked so much holds their clientele in such little regard. My advice - find an alternative. A good craft beer is little reward for the illness or death of you or a friend. read more

We absolutely love this place! Such a great vibe. We come in every Friday to sit at the bar and visit our favorite bartender in town. Every Friday we are so entertained by watching Lauren make drink after drink, and we always try to sit as close to the bartender station as possible. She is mind blowingly fast, she makes me feel like we are back in Vegas! Her and her bar back are always welcoming and she always remembers our drink order. Had some chicken wings, both the Sonoran (Buffalo) and the lemon pepper were tasty. Beer is good, lots of local choices. Only complaint was the ordering set up- everyone orders from the front counter and gets a number for their table. This can get backed up and the front isn't conducive to a line. This establishment is close to our new home so we were excited to try it. We sat at the indoor bar that is off to the side of the restaurant which was very nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere. The service by the bartender was prompt and she checked on us occasionally, however she was not very friendly. We both ordered the special for the night (hamburger + brew). They were both good, but didn't even come with fries, so we ordered them separately. BEWARE...because this really isn't a good deal at all. While the food was decent, it, along with all the items on the menu, were way overpriced. They have nice outdoor patios that are dog friendly. That's a plus. We would visit again, but certainly won't be our "go-to" place simply because of the prices, so-so service and average food. read more

Mediocre overpriced food and lackluster service. Stays busy probably because there are limited options in area and it's the only bar for miles. Would have rated higher for average food but attempted to make reservations for 9 and was told they only do reservations for 10. When I tried to get a reservation for 10 the hostess denied to give it stating "Well you just told me 9." Kind of surprising she just turned away a large party willing to spend money. Will not be back and do not recommend. Drive a few minutes farther for better service and food. read more

Great Place! Fantastic beer selection and the food is what I would call elevated bar food. Been there a couple of times as we are moving to one of the surrounding neighborhoods. The only thing that is a bit weird and I am sure it's for the "election infection" otherwise known as COVID is the ordering protocol.
