What a hidden gem! Came here for the first time on a Wednesday night with my husband and toddler daughter. It was packed and even though we did not have a reservation, they got us a table right away. We sat outside and wow! Not only was it a perfect night temperature wise, but the views were absolutely stunning. It was a very #whyilovewhereilive moment! We were taken care of by Bobbie Joe--I think that's her name-- and she was fantastic. Water, menus, and bread was already at the table when we were seated. Love that. Prices are really reasonable and they've got a good variety of menu items. We got the pretzel sliders to start. I had the large Sonoran salad and added chicken and my husband got a turkey melt with sweet potato fries. Everything was great! Our server even brought out a little fruit cup for my daughter for dessert! It appears that there are a lot of regulars and everyone was so friendly--to each other, to the waitstaff, to the tables next to them. Very jolly vibe. The only critique I have is that the chairs were very uncomfortable. My husband thought they were great, but at 7 months pregnant they leaned too far back from the table for me to comfortably eat. This is probably just a pregnant issue though--we will see what I think post-pregnancy. We just missed happy hour--it ends at 5-and it appeared that they have a wine special on Wednesdays--I think half off bottles. Can't wait to come back! read more

This is the best restaurant in Dove Mountain! The only drawback is they close too early. The food is wonderful, the drinks are good and reasonably priced and [[HIGHLIGHT]]you cannot beat the views of the golf course and mountains![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the staff are friendly too. read more

Food is reasonable, I ordered the steak and the Hubs ordered the jambalaya. Wasn't your typical jambalaya it had a cream based sauce. On the other hand, my steak was great and filling. Casual dining at the Ritz Carlton with great window views, outdoor seating options, and a nice interior. It's a little hard to find at first but signs will guide you - we were in T-shirts and leggings and it was no problem. The menu has a selection of appetizers, soups and salads, burgers, one burrito, sandwiches, pizza, and after 4pm there is an additional menu with more dinner-like options. Salads are tasty, the flatbread app and the pizza are really good (I ordered the pizza for my lunch and only got one piece before others at the table finished it haha!), the burgers are flame broiled so yummy! And the fries are also very good - maybe they're Parmesan fries? The chili... not so great. I swear someone snuck out the back door and bought some from Wendy's, put it in a deceptive bowl (it looked like a lot more than was really there and I know because I took most of it home in a tiny (5 oz?) container and it all fit. The mud pie wasn't the best I've ever had but it was decent. James (our server) was awesome and very attentive. Be warned though, many of the diners think they're royalty and behave as such. When we first arrived no one was around the desk had to wait about 5 minutes before someone showed up and sat us. Once we were seated we ordered drinks the girl brought me the wrong drink. I think they need to be trained on their wine list because she didn't know the difference between Merlot & Malbec. After ordering drinks looking over the menu we had to wait for about 15 min or so for her to come back and take our order. After taking our order they brought our salads, during that time we asked if we could have some bread (usually one of the first things they do without you having to ask for it). Terrible service. We've found the Sunday Brunch at the Highlands Grill to be consistently excellent. For me, the best part is the table service in that it is order from the menu which is a wonderful variety of everything from Eggs Benedict, French Toast, to pancakes. The wait staff is attentive, helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere is welcoming and site views are welcoming. Seating is both indoor and outdoor, prices are reasonable. This is a tough review for me as I want to give 4 stars. We frequently visit the restaurant. Shared Mother's Day here and Valentine's Day here with family along with weekday outings here and there. Overall the food is great with the exception of my salmon being half cooked at our last visit. They apologized and gave me a credit for the salmon I added to my salad (which arrived 10 mins after my salad came and half raw). BUT.. here's the catch if you aren't a member but live in the surrounding community they treat you sub-par. I hate to see this as a healthcare professional we treat our patients the same why wouldn't a restaurant treat their customers the same regardless if you're a member or not? Step it up highlands you have great potential for dove mountain and the surrounding community ... treat your members and the locals surrounding you outside the gates the same... or at least act like you do so others can't see it!! read more

They don't have a great selection of beers on tap, no Tucson craft beers which is unfortunate since we have so many great brewers here. No IPA's the day we were there and if they do it is canned.
