Ruined a sweater that was clearly laundered instead of drycleaned- claimed they could "stretch" it back to shape. Came back full of holes!! These yahoos claimed they could sew up the holes. This was clearly a ridiculous offer. I left knowing I would never return. Three months later they offered me 4 dollars compensation for a $200 sweater. Never will go here again. Wish I could give zero stars. read more

Dee and her staff at Sparkle on La Canada have always been professional and friendly. I am in the custom clothing business here in Tucson, and I've had my clothing cleaned at Sparkle since the summer of 2018 when I moved to Tucson. I originally tested all three of the major cleaners in Tucson, and Sparkle won't the "bake off" for their consistency in quality and attention to detail. I always refer my custom clothing clients to Sparkle, as they do a great job in laundering my expensive custom dress shirts & sportshirts. Do not go here! I started taking my clothes to this Sparkle location a couple of years ago, and at first, everything was great. I chose them because I wanted an eco-friendly cleaner and clothes that came back without stinking like chemicals. The quality has plummeted over time. The last straw was when they gave me back a jacket with yet another broken button and a blazer that was dirtier when I picked it up than it had been when I took it in. I talked with them more than once about the broken button problem and was assured that it was strange for buttons to break, they'd replace it, blah blah. Well, they continued to break my buttons, and their idea of "replacement" was a cheap plastic button sewn on where previously there'd been a nice, mother of pearl button. Pricing is waaay too much. I thought I lived in Tucson, not Beverly Hills. $43 for three items. And that's including a $5 coupon. Their service is the same as everyone else's, find a place that's cheaper for the same service and then go enjoy a steak at The Keg. read more

Prices are absolutely ridiculous! They charge almost $12 per item to dry clean. I should've realized something was amiss when I didn't see any signage that talked pricing. Shame on me for not asking first but every other place I've ever been charges $4 or less. The employee couldn't articulate what, precisely, causes the increase in price over the competition. Not going back. Was charged 9.65 for DC one shirt and 7.80 for DC other shirts. When I asked why I was told because of upcharge. I asked for how the upcharges were figured out and was told to call the manager. Looked on the website but cannot find anywhere how much and why the upcharges are there for DC. DC is DC. Two weeks ago I would up with two shirts that were not mine. Brought them back. Was "credited" but was not able to use until two weeks later and that was a fight. Put up with the wrinkles in my dress shirts because of how tight they pack the shirts in the plastic and they do not pay attention to collars and sleeves. Time to take my business elsewhere. read more

Went in for a press on a jacket and shirt for starting my new job. The shirt came back more wrinkling then if I were to have washed and dried it in my old washer and dryer. The jacket was pressed incorrectly on the sleeves and you can see the crease where the correct crease should be. And holy moly that was expensive. Will not go back again. read more

Along with heavier traffic, frequent visits to the dry cleaner herald the official arrival of winter to Tucson for me. Usually a dreary chore that I put off until very necessary, my recent trips to Sparkle in Oro Valley have been rather pleasant & Yelp-worthy. The young woman I usually see behind the counter & amongst the clothes racks is cheerful, quick & efficient. Last visit I had a question about cleaning drapes, she got right on it & I had my quote immediately. It was more expensive than I thought it would be, so I'm still considering the project. However my sweaters, husbands' suits, coats, silk clothing etc etc have always been treated well here, never a problem to spot clean either. As a VIP customer & often forgetful customer, I get email reminders of when item are ready for pick up. Very quick turn around time - wish my laundry room at home was so efficient! Parking is plentiful, traffic bearable & rarely have to wait more than a minute or two for service (vs my experiences at the Campbell location). Bonus: not only is there a candy dish on the counter, they also offer cold water bottles to go :-) read more

They are the worst on refunds few months ago they Ruin my husband's work shirts from Tommy Bahamas they took 3 weeks to pay us back and now they did the error and put 2 jeans from someone else I paid I return back to them they said they will refund my money back I go today to pick up my cleaning I asked if they credited my account which they haven't they said either they haven't filled the paperwork or it takes 3 days to see the credit I was next time I will just return anything until I get my money back! I understand we are all human but really takes that long to credit me really also I ask no Cris on jeans which they do I have to leave them there for another day do they give u a discount of how many times they do it n I have to leave them there!!! Customer service ok but everything else they SUCK!!!!! Looking for another cleaners Management really needs to look into their store I'm sure they don't report anything to management for them not to make their quote and of course I look for Corp number is no where on they website read more

My cocktail dress was ruined! Spoke to District Manager, who initially stated that my dress had a manufacturing defect... Later in the conversation admitted that Sparkle did not have the correct equipment to clean and press the dress... AFTER ruining it! Shouldn't Sparkle employees know what they can and cannot clean? I requested that Sparkle reimburse me for the cost of this dress and have not received a follow up call even acknowledging my request. I will not return to any of their stores. Sparkle stores utilize the same plant for cleaning so beware! read more

Good customer service as well as prices! They do a great job with the dry cleaning here! What else could you ask for?

Caveat Emptor. Because of the proximity to our home, we have done business with Sparkle Cleaners for years, not always satisfactorily. They lost a set of sheets, but paid for them. Still we had the hassle. They misplaced shirts, but found them. Every time you go in it's like a treasure hunt to find your things. They ruined a coat of a friend visiting from Austria this spring. After a lot of complaining to a manager who is unresponsive and belligerent, the owner paid for it. Then they couldn't find an $800 suit when I was there, but did eventually find it and that caused another hassle with their ever so obstreperous manager. So that's it. We're done with them. Their prices are high too. Shopped around after the last incident. Can probably save 20%. And poor parking. The last time I was there, since the lot is small a woman backed into my parked car. In my opinion, they just aren't worth the hassle. read more
