Bad, bad customer service. I have never been here before. Stopped in to pick up a GC for a friend's birthday. Walked in and only two ladies working. Both doing pedicures. Walked to desk and waited. Seemed like minutes but suspect it was under a minute. Finally, one woman says "yes". I look over and backs are facing clients so not sure who said it or if someone actually spoke to me. I said, Hi, I would like to purchase a GC. I think she said Ok or yes. Waited. Looked at my phone. 3 minutes later, nothing. I said, should I come back later. "Yes" was spoken by someone. Really? You couldn't pause for a moment to do a GC or just say, I'm sorry, we are understaffed, can you come back? Would never go back. Went to my go-to, awesome service place ever - Shine on on Belmont Street. Walked in. Hello, can I help you? Less than 3 minutes later I am out the door with a lovely GC in a pretty light blue envelope. There is a lot of competition out there. I am sure there are many people who love Dove and have had better service. But I have no plans to go back. read more

Best nail spot I have been to in a long while. Hot rocks, Hot wax and a shoulder massage at my chair will keep me coming back.

Nice staff, never had to wait, and the manicures and pedicures are good. Plus, they take the time to do a paraffin treatment of your hands and to MASSAGE. I get manicures more often than I should just for the free massage. I love this place. read more

Had a wonderful manicure and pedicure here! Everyone was incredibly friendly, the store was clean, and there was a great selection of colors. Included in every manicure is a paraffin wax treatment, and they used hot stones for the pedicure. However, the BEST part was the shoulder and neck massage during the manicure. Heavenly! My manicure lasted for a week and a half without chipping. Definitely coming back! read more

Wow, so glad I discovered this place, which is easy to miss hidden in a strange little brick strip mall. Inside though is nice, clean, and friendly. I had bungled trying to remove a gel mani (ugh, never again) and she spent time removing it, then had me wash my hands with a little sugar scrub. When I sat back down she pulled out plastic gloves that had been pre-loaded with lotion...I've never seen this before...and she popped my finger tips through, massaged the lotion in, then gave me what is probably the best straight up (not gel) manicure I've ever had - it essentially looks like a gel. Then she rolled up my sleeves and massaged lotion on my arms. The women are pleasant and I look forward to revisiting! read more

Used to be a fan but think they are poorly managed. I had an appointment and got a phone call at my appointment time as I was walking in the door. Told another long time client came and there was "some confusion" and they could not take me, but I could come back in 3 hours for my mani/pedi. Not cool!!!! I am going back to Vanti Nails in Belmont Center where I am treated with the respect I deserve. read more

I've been to several nail salons and I must say this place does the best pedicure! My pedi had a hot stone massage which was a nice surprise- it made a huge difference; I was totally relaxed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is very cozy. read more

My mom and I just had pedicures here and we will definitely be back! You get a scrub on your feet and legs up to your knees, a great foot & leg massage (not just a lotion application that is suppose to be a massage) including warm stones, paraffin on your feet and while your toes are drying a neck & shoulder massage, all for $28!!! My neck & shoulder massage went on for a good 15 min. My pedi cost $31 because I got a design on my toes - still a great price. The place is brand new and clean and Vicky and Hannah were so friendly and accommodating. They did a great job! read more

Two words, AH MAZING. My mom and I were pampered like queens when we rolled in last Monday. Fortunately, the 3 other salons we planned on going to were closed. We googled Belmont nail salons and found Dove Nails open till 7. Friendly staff, COMPLIMENTARY massages folks, job well done, and all at an affordable $37 for mani and pedi. Too good to be true? This is truly as good as it gets! You walk into a beautifully decorated serene atmosphere and then are pampered like you are at a spa. The ladies are all wonderful and talented. It is unassuming from the outside but the minute you walk in you just want to melt into one of those chairs and listen to the fun french music or eclectic jazz. The owner, Vicky, has a wonderful, unique timeless playlist. My favorites are the shellac manicures with fabulous stress-melting neck massages and the amazing, callus-removing pedicures that revive your feet and soothe your legs. Go! pedicure is good BUT one of the two guys in the shop offered me a neck/back massage and I said ok but it was extremely painful -- he dug into my upper back and neck with fingers that felt hard as steel -- I almost gasped in pain, but I thought, well, maybe a deep-tissue massage is not such a bad thing. When I got home I saw that there was a bruise on my back and in fact he had abraided the skin on one side where he was digging in with his thumbs and it had been rubbed raw, even a few drops of blood were there. I was horrified. My bf said that mark had not been there the day before when he had given me a massage. There is a slightly strange vibe in the store -- one guy sits at a desk facing the door and he ran up to me as soon as I came in -- a woman approached me as well and he stood very close to me to supervise, it seemed, her handling of me. Once she directed me to a chair he went back to his desk and continued monitoring the door. The massage was really out of line. Another woman I saw get a massage appeared to have no problems with it at all, but I had a painful experience. If you go there, and the massage is overly painful, you should say something right away. The young woman giving me the pedicure was very sweet and did a great job however because of the weird experience with the massage I probably would not go back -- even with the free birthday month pedicure they offer. read more

Incredible! My 4-year old daughter and I had a mommy/daughter morning and went to Dove Nails. They not only did a fantastic job on our manicure/pedicures (even on her tiny little nails) but they went above and beyond talking with and doting on my daughter. I tried this place today and it was like an oasis. Clean, tranquil, and pleasant. A bit more than your typical pedi, but you get your money's worth. The extra massage and hot stone massage during the pedi was heavenly. I missed the guy doing the extra massages, but that's OK. I walked in and was fit in right away. read more

I've been coming to Dove for two and a half years now. Up until recently, my experience was always a good one. Great customer service, massage, detailed manicures. For some reason, everything has declined. I no longer see the owners, Vicky and her Husband, perhaps they sold it. Anyways, ever since they vanished, I am unimpressed. Inconsistent service, no more massages - guaranteed, in fact, one of the manicurists hurt me because she was working too fast. The employees seem to be speaking Korean to each other a lot more than before, which is fine, but it makes me a bit more paranoid that they are talking about the customers and they just raised their prices in July, which eliminated the bundle discounted price for mani/pani. I received a mani/pedi today and it cost 45 dollars, without any of the perks that they use to have. I have been a loyal customer for years now, but I do not think I will be returning since the quality of my experience has been declining now for some time now. Not worth it. read more
