This place is awesome. Went here on a Friday evening with reservation. You'll notice that it's not…read morethe typical Asian barbeque place that is very smoky. When we sat, we noticed that it's not smoky because the grills have ventilation on the sides that suck the smoke through the bottom. We were 3 in our party and thought about the all you can eat. We decided to go with the Meat Variety package for 3 and were so happy that we did! We all thought that this package was well curated. The starters included a salad, 3 miso soup, 3 white rice, fried calamari, and cheese corn butter. The barbeque items were varied, had different texture and were delicious. 3 s'mores were included as well. We added fried pork gyoza dumplings, matcha tiramisu and chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious. Service was very good. They brought the food in batches so you were not overwhelmed. Would definitely come back and highly recommend!

First off, I do think everyone should try Japanese BBQ at least once just to experience the difference for themselves. We got the Premium AYCE option. It's advertised around $45, but after tax, drinks, and everything else, it definitely ends up being more expensive than that. We also ordered the lychee sake, which was really good and probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. One thing I really liked was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a nice, intimate feel because a lot of the tables and booths are separated, so it feels more private than your typical BBQ spot. The lighting also adds to the vibe and makes it feel cozy without being too dark. We don't eat pork, so we mostly focused on the beef options. Personally, when I'm doing all-you-can-eat, I don't really want to fill up on chicken or seafood. My biggest takeaway is that while there are a ton of different marinades and menu options, a lot of the beef cuts ended up tasting pretty similar to me. The differences felt more like thickness or texture rather than completely different flavors. Maybe I'm not cultured enough in Japanese BBQ to appreciate all the nuances, but that's honestly how it came across to me. At the end of the day, I think I still prefer Korean BBQ. For me, the overall experience isn't different enough to justify paying significantly more. I'd probably rather save $20 and go get KBBQ instead. One thing worth mentioning is that both of us felt pretty sick afterward. mostly nauseous and overly full. To be clear, I don't think there was anything wrong with the food. We probably just overdid it, which is easy to do at an AYCE spot. The standout part of the experience was definitely the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal. Honestly, the customer service is the main reason I'd consider coming back. Also, sorry for the lack of photos. I was way too hungry and focused on eating to remember to take any. Overall: good experience, great service, tasty drinks, nice ambiance, but I personally still prefer KBBQ.

Whenever I go, I always order off the most premium tier and while it is pricey at $98 per person, I believe that it is completely worth the money. For endless rounds of high quality wagyu, sushi, ramen, etc., it is beyond easy to get your money's worth here. I've actually done the math totaling up how much we ate and what it would've been al le carte and it totaled to $400-500 total for two people so this is well worth it. The items I would highly recommend is everything off their wagyu tier, the wagyu fried rice, and their specialty rolls. Don't forget to end the meal off with some dessert as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the matcha crepe cake. This place is very modern and with an amazing staff that is super attentive. Water cup was always filled, they came back quick to ask what we wanted next (no waiting around necessary), cooked our meat perfectly for us. Overall, while this wouldn't be my everyday/daily dining option due to the price, it is my most favorite place to splurge at for any special occasions. It is definitely a must try and I will be looking forward to the next time I come

The décor is unique, beautiful, and really adds to the experience. While I was waiting for my order, I asked a few customers if they had been there before. Every single one of them said the same thing: "The food is so good, we keep coming back for more!" Once I got home and tried my meal, I completely understood why. The food was absolutely amazing! The portions were generous too--I couldn't even finish all of it! I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend giving it a try. 5/5 Stars!

This is such a fun concept, well executed. Build your own hibachi!…read more My friend was on the hunt for an eatery that provides meat for her (omnivore) but also a satisfying plant-based meal for me (vegan). She found the perfect place. How it works: Guests are seated, given a card to denote table number, name, rice preferences and special instructions, if any. Order drinks at the table. The server gives each person a bowl which you then go and fill with raw ingredients, buffet style. Your bowl, card and sauces are left on a tray. Once grilled by the hibachi chefs, the food is put on a bed of rice and returned to you steaming hot and delicious. Pricing: Regular dinner bowls are $15. For $5 more, you can convert your order to "all you can eat" and repeat the process, as my friend did. Fountain drinks are automatically bottomless. This was a really fun way to enjoy dinner with my friend. I would love to come back with her again sometime. My only criticism is, despite the appearance of the raw food being bright and fresh, the texture and taste gave the impression that much of the produce I had in my bowl was from frozen. And although the price was quite reasonable for a filling dinner meal, it always feels strange to me to pay the same amount for vegetables as someone loading up on shrimp/ squid/ beef/ chicken, etc. I wish there was a discount when forgoing animal remains. YES: Vegan friendly YES: Family friendly

You can only choose two of the three all you can eat options: hot pot, sushi, and bbq. We picked bbq and sushi, and all of the bites were great! The bbq has all of the standard sides and meats that were so so yummy, especially the pork belly. The bbq items came out what felt like minutes after we came back with filled plates from the appetizer bar. Only thing we wish was different was that we got the sushi after the kbbq and we were pretty full by the time it came out. We were instantly greeted at the door and only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table. From there, we decided to go for the triple combo of AYCE sushi, hot pot, and KBBQ. The best choice! We began by ordering sushi and items for our hot pot - all were incredibly fresh and tasty. I particularly loved the Szechuan broth - which I made sure to ask them to make vegetarian (be sure to ask beforehand as some broths are made with pork). From there, we fired up the grill with brisket, bulgogi, and, my favorite, the garlic shrimp! Everything was so juicy and paired perfectly with the sauce bar items we chose. I particularly loved the crab rangoons and kimchi as some fun sides! The restaurant is very spacious and is great for groups or eating with a friend. I appreciated how attentive and accommodating each server was. In my opinion, this is one of the best KBBQ spots in town! Definitely worth the visit.
