I heard there was a HomeGoods opening at Las Posas but I wasn't sure when. I was in the area…read moreyesterday and saw that it was open. I had to check it out. It's a good size store in the old bed, Bath, and beyond building, I believe. Everything is very organized and clean. I hope it stays this way cause the other stores can be kind of a mess. They have a ton of merchandise everything from lamps, to furniture, to bedding, to kids items, to pet goods, to kitchen, to food, to art, to storage, to bathroom, etc. it's overwhelming but in a fun way. I didn't end up buying anything today, but I will definitely be back. I love to walk around HomeGoods and it's great for gifts.

My friend's mom was ahead of us and advanced to the check stand she was instructed to go to. We lingered behind while chit chatting, looking at the items on the way when I hear a cashier say "she can help you on 2" (repeated twice in quick succession) with a super rude tone - as we walked past her, she muttered to the guest she was helping "maybe you'd hear me if you weren't so busy chatting". I was too stunned to say anything in the moment, but excuse me? I work in customer service management and would be mortified if one of my employees made a comment like that. Do better, Spring.

We recently had new carpet installed in all four bedrooms of our home. After visiting several local…read morecarpet stores, we chose Tri-City Carpet, and we're so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Greg Schlaifer, who was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Greg took the time to explain the different carpet options and asked thoughtful questions about our home and lifestyle before making his recommendation. He then arranged for carpet samples to be delivered to our home, making it easy to compare color choices in our own lighting and space. Once we made our selection, Greg personally came out to take measurements. His estimate was very fair, and the installation was scheduled promptly. We chose to have Tri-City Carpet move our furniture, and on installation day, Abel and his crew arrived right on time. They carefully disassembled and moved our furniture where necessary and, once the job was complete, reassembled everything and returned it to its exact original location. The crew removed all of the old carpet and padding and installed the new padding and carpet flawlessly. Carrying heavy rolls of carpet up and down the stairs is no easy task, yet they completed the entire installation without leaving a single mark or scratch on our walls. Their workmanship and attention to detail were truly impressive. The entire process was smooth, stress-free, and professionally handled from start to finish. Greg, Abel, and everyone at Tri-City Carpet exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Tri-City Carpet to anyone looking for outstanding customer service, fair pricing, and exceptional installation quality.

He followed us around the store and was there to answer questions. He helped us with pricing and we left to go to a couple other stores. I explained to him what I was looking for and he immediately said let me take you to my favorite selection (the most expensive couch in the store) he made us sit down and then aggressively tried to persuade me to make the purchase. I then asked are there any other options that we can look at? That seemed to annoy him. He took us to another option that was just too bulky for the space. When we tried to explain that to him and it seemed he wouldn't take that as an answer. He wanted to see pictures of the space and then proceeded to mansplain how we had some much room and knows we want something comfortable. We told him that we wanted to take pictures of the measurements to check it to our space... he then said I'll be right back and he never came back. I cannot begin to explain how this man made us feel. I'm not putting him name in here as I don't want to personally call him out but Ashley come on you can do better. This man seemed to be $$ driven and that felt gross to me. He didn't listen to me at all and seemed like what he knew was best.

There's also a TJ Maxx nearby in the Target shopping center if you need more options, because they are owned by the same parent company and therefore sometimes have the same items. This is a smaller location than the other two I mentioned, and not quite as busy. They have a lot of merchandise still, so you may have a better chance of finding that thing you're looking for. And I love that they have great deals on items, and a larger selection than places like Walmart or Target. I'm usually looking for food items like spices and sauces, and kitchen gadgets and organizers. I also come looking for work needs, like cute glasses and ramekins. Selection of those items definitely varies with the seasons, and they have a great selection of Halloween, Christmas, and even Easter items. I've also come looking for a gift multiple times. There are a lot of great items in the pet section, and they also have the collections of items from places like India and Indonesia occasionally. The line to check out can get long, as this is a smaller store. I've never had an issue with the employees, they all seem nice. HG seem to be in high-traffic shopping centers, and this one definitely is. Parking can be an issue at peak times, because of Aldi, BevMo, Staples, and restaurants like Cali Fish Grill, Primos, and Board & Brew.
