She proceeded to map my brows and immediately started threading without giving me a mirror and asking me for approval of the shape . So I had to stop her and ask if I could see before she continues threading and by then it was already too late .. all the hair that I'd been attempting to grow back was gone and my brow was back to looking thinner than my natural shape . I began to tell to just stop I don't want the service anymore . Lord knows how long it will take to grow back my brows it's been about 6 months since I started the growing process . By brows are naturally super thick and I wish she was more trained to know that u do not remove any hair before asking the client if they are satisfied with the shape first ! When I looked closer, I noticed bumps forming. The salon looked clean, so I was confused about what caused the reaction. During threading, my hair kept getting caught and pulled several times because it wasn't tied up, and the threader eventually asked me to hold it. Afterward, she gave me extra aloe vera and ice, saying my skin was "sensitive." I didn't take the ice because I had to drive, but once I got home, I saw how bad my neck looked. I've never had this kind of reaction before from threading anywhere else. It's been a day, and even after applying aloe vera and ice at home, my skin is still irritated and covered in bumps. I'm not sure what happened, but this was not a good experience and left me really uncomfortable. I actually cried on my way home due to how bad it was originally.

I actually never received any calls, texts, or emails from them.The receptionist claimed they couldn't leave me a voicemail. I seriously doubt they ever tried to contact me to reschedule! There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

I recently visited the salon and found the overall vibe to be nice and cute, and I appreciated the complimentary drinks offered. However, there were several issues that detracted from the experience. I had booked an appointment online with Peter, but when I arrived, the two young ladies at the front seemed disorganized. One instructed me to sit and wait for Peter, while the other discreetly suggested calling another client before attending to me, despite the fact that I had an appointment. This confusion was frustrating, especially since I usually have no issues with the other two young ladies who work in the mornings; they are always professional and provide excellent customer service. While waiting for my pedicure, the male staff member at the front repeatedly offered me drinks, which felt unnecessary, especially since I'm pregnant. After declining, he informed me that Peter wouldn't be able to do my nails as scheduled, which was disappointing given my prior booking. I had encountered a similar problem during my last visit when I had to wait past my appointment time. I even requested a different technician to avoid additional delays, but my concerns were ignored by both the male staff member and the young lady at the front. To make matters worse, I ended up waiting for nearly 45 minutes, despite being told it would only be five. Additionally, when it came time to pay, there seemed to be a discrepancy in pricing--I was charged $30 for a classic pedicure instead of the advertised $25. On a positive note, the owner is very nice and attentive when she is present, as are the two young ladies who typically work the morning shift. Unfortunately, the inconsistent service from the other staff members led to a less enjoyable experience overall. I was disappointed with my visit here and felt the service did not meet basic expectations. When I first arrived, I was seated in a massage chair that wasn't working. When I asked about it, the pedicure employee dismissed my concern with "it doesn't matter." Only after I insisted was I moved to a functioning chair. I had requested the Lavender Infused Pedicure, but the technician (Nicki) repeatedly tried to upsell me to the Jelly Pedicure and other options despite my polite refusals. This made the experience feel pushy rather than relaxing. Since the polish colors available weren't what I wanted, I opted out of nail polish. To my surprise, the pedicure was cut short lasting only about 15 minutes with no trimming, filing, or cuticle care included. Yet, I was still charged the full regular price. I ended up going to another salon right after to get a proper pedicure, which included everything that should have been done in the first place. Unfortunately, I left here feeling like I paid for an incomplete service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements. read more

The nail polish quality was really good and you can tell they care about their work because my nails came out clean, smooth, and beautiful. I even mentioned that their Yelp page says they accept walk-ins, and the man working there responded in a rude and dismissive way. The whole interaction made me feel very unwelcome. They should update their online information so people don't waste their time.
