I've been dealing with a car rattle for weeks and when I walked in, they had me in and out within a half an hour. I would pick them over a car dealership (or any other mechanic) any day of the week. We called one shop in Las Vegas and were given a ridiculous quote for the converter. Passion Auto was our next choice and the quotes for the various services were spot on with what my research showed they should be. They also identified an issue the first shop missed, a shredded serpentine belt. Passion Auto was very understanding of our situation and did good work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

So what did I do? I paid it and had it done (as a responsible car-owner). My fiance came in for an oil change-- and you'd never guess-- HIS car also needed a new plug gasket for $900. He declined. Neither of these experiences were enough for me to post this review-- but last week the AC went out in my car. I found a reliable auto company to give me an estimate to repair. Turns out I needed a new compressor-- the other company's estimate was $1499. I brought my car here for the second opinion. I called before coming and they told me they would give me an estimate free of charge-- mind you it also says on the front door they offer free AC Inspections and free estimates. They raised my car and spent about 10-15 minutes checking it out and then dropped the hammer. The compressor was shot (same diagnosis as the 1st company) which was what I was expecting. The cost to repair?? $4200!! I told them that was way too much and they explained this was the OEM price and they needed to use OEM to give the best repair. When they saw me ready to walk, they offered the repair with non OEM parts and that would be $2000. Still being 25% more than the other quote I opted to not have the service done there. They worked up my paper estimate and told me my balance was $89.99. Like wtf? I told them I was told the diagnostic would be free-- and it's literally advertised on their front door as free. Needless to say, they waived the fee, and I had my compressor completed by the other guys for $1499. Lesson learned.

We've been going since 2024; they moved location to 3915 W Twain Ave. I kept forgetting to create this review. - In the past, an oil change, oil filter would be like 15-20min for $30ish cash/zelle. - This visit we brought our own oil, oil filter, filters (cabin/engine), fuel system cleaner; and pay for labor. All of this + whole car quick check is 45min-1hr from $70. We already have our own oil due to needed to refill the Prius every so often. Otherwise, I don't think its an issue to just use their supplies? Waiting room is clean with comfortable new couches, coffee Keurig cup machine, etc. It has ac. You'll have to walk through the left door office, and it's in the back area of it. They took in our car from being towed for simple stupid mistake by us (no gas, we have a dashboard blank out issue/typical issue for old Prius in hot climate places). - Towed our car in. Apparently a lot of cars get towed here. Alot of the Vietnamese restaurant owners bring their car there which is a good sign to us. - Tow person's tip: Police tow will cost around $500 where cops also get a cut from it. Don't take a Police tow unless you have to. Cash or Zelle is best. They have QR code to pay.

First, I called the number provided and nobody answered. No biggie, I left a message on the obvious Google Voice system, it's been 48 hours and I'm still waiting for that call to be answered so I'm guessing nobody monitors that number. After I called, I took the time to fill out a detailed "request a quote" form and provided exceptional information to the respondant to save them time and effort if possible. I did receive follow up message where I described my issue in depth, I provided my availability and my general location and was told that I would be notified of appointment availability. Long story short, 18 hours of silence from the company led me to take my vehicle to a local shop and get my vehicle serviced. Almost 48 hours after requesting a quote I STILL haven't been offered an appointment. I guess it's probably a good thing that I'm not stranded beside the road waiting, I'd probably be carjacked by now. Not saying the dude doesn't do good work, but you must need to be special to get respect of an appointment or at least enough courtesy to decline the work because you don't have time.

I'm almost embarrassed to write this review after the bonehead error I made. I wanted to visit an…read morehistorical site about 25 miles from Las Vegas. When I arrived, I saw that the Union Pacific Railroad had fenced and locked the gate to the road you used to use to get to the spot. Just after the fence was a dirt road leading to where I wanted to go. I went off road, realized the ground was soft, but I was able to get up 2/3 of the hill before my car wouldn't go any further. It was like being in the snow back in New York. I backed down the hill expecting to just drive away and foprget this outking. However, that idea was abandoned when my car got stuck in very soft and deep desert sand and some dead creosote bushes had stopped by backward progress. Here I am, stuck about 5 miles from a truck stop and I had no water (some desert rat I am)! After wondering what to do, I finally called the non=-emergency 311 number. I explained by predicament and asked if they could advise me what to do. This was the North Las Vegas police department. They decided it would be best to talk top Las Vegas Metro Police and they transferred me. Metro decided it was best to transfer the call to the Nevada Highway Patrol given I was in them middle of nowhere. After talking to NHP for a short ime, the call was cut off. Using Yelp, I eventually got connected with a towing service out of North Las Vegas (Elite Towing). They knew my general location and what I needed. In about 3/4 of an hour, I saw the flatbed arrive. I was going to be extricated from the mess I had gotten myself in. The driver came over and started up the hill and would pull the front out. When he realized the softness of the sand, he backed down and decided to pull the car from the back end. He attached the winch cables and I was told to turn the wheel when the car was leaving the sand and getting onto the packed gravel road, and it worked just fine! I was free. The driver, a very pleasant young man, disconnected the cables and I was free to go. I made no attempts to get to the site. I had learned my lesson. After a quick turn around, I was headed back to Las Vegas. Many thanks to Elite Towing for their response which was timely given where I was. I also decided that I'd rent a four wheel drive when I go back. (some people never learn)! I knew I shouldn't have traded my 4x4 xTerra. But I lknow if I'm in range where I can get help, Elite will be there to rescue the jerk who got himself stuck in the desert.

If I could give this business more stars I would. Great guys who took great care of our Blazer. Brought it in with an exhaust leak, they let me come after hours for a quote. Ended up replacing the whole system for a reasonable price and let us pick out a performance muffler that was to our liking. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs exhaust work done. My thing was I didn't want my car too loud, but also wanted a deep tone and minimal in-cabin drone. I went with the Delta 40's and eventually removed all resonators.
