Doz Bagels East Meadow easily deserves five stars! The service is great and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff was really sweet today on our Friday visit! We ordered the 'Big Boy' on a roll and the 'Hangover' on a roll, paired with an iced coffee, a lemonade, and an apple juice. Everything was packed with good flavor and was completely delicious. The kids absolutely loved it, and the vibe of the store was amazing with the music they had playing. We cannot wait to return! ¡Doz Bagels East Meadow se merece fácilmente cinco estrellas! *gluten free, stay away* I can now confirm that the gluten free bagels should absolutely not be eaten by anyone eating GF due to medical necessity. I ordered the GF bagel back in July and was vomiting within 1 hour of eating it. I couldn't fully confirm that the bagel was the issue that day - until now. I had gone into the bagel shop a few weeks ago and was curious about their preparation for the GF bagels. I asked the person working , i even told her that I have celiac. She told me the bagels are fully gluten free and cooked separately than the other bagels. I also noticed that they were kept in a basket with a lining on the shelves. This past weekend I decided to try the GF bagel again after last eating it in July - unfortunately for the second time, i was vomiting within an hour of eating the bagel. I am writing this review 2 days later, still experiencing serious side effects of ingesting gluten. I don't understand what the point is for the store to sell a GF bagel for the GF community if it's not even gluten free. Or why a staff member would ensure the safety of the bagel, likely knowing that the bagel is not safe. I have a knack for finding delis. I'm what you might call a deli-connoisseur. Which leads me to "Doz Bagels East Meadow." Parking was good. The outside stood out, well, there wasn't a lot around. So I headed inside. Inside the place was beautiful. Organized, clean, and modern, the best set up for delis. They also had limited seating, but I could work with that. I went over to the counter and noticed they had a good selection on bagels. I wasn't there for that today, so the incredible staff helped me with what I really wanted. A egg sandwich! The wait wasn't that long so I decided to stay, one look at the roll and I realized, they are not cheap on cheese! They used an aggressive amount. I knew I was in for a treat, and I was, up until I bit the sausage. The sausage tasted different, and not in a good way. It was like nothing I tried before. Pure hunger made me finish it. But I was surprised by the taste. I would go back, but next time I'll try bacon. It's a fifty, fifty, when you are trying new delis. read more

Bagels are fresh and taste good, but like most places, the prices are somewhat outrageous. But what makes little sense is that I received a bagel today that literally had a pound of cream cheese on it (check the photo if you don't believe me). I don't know anyone who enjoys biting through a wad of cream cheese that thick; it just does not taste good. Then I spent a long time wiping it off with the napkins they provided. And frankly, when I first opened the bagel, I couldn't believe the sloppy mess that this thing looked like. He had put so much cream cheese on it was all over the sides of the bagel as well as between the slices. Listen folks, if you actually read your social media, give us a nice Schmeer and charge us less. All you have to be is consumer friendly, and you might actually have customers. We only got bagels so I cannot speak to all the other items that they sell. The bagels were fresh. They previously had an olive bagel which was great with the olive cream cheese spread. Current they do not have this type of bagel and the olive cream cheese is really void of olive taste. The service was friendly and fast but a long line formed after we were finished. There are about 8 or so tables for two for those who want to dine in. There is a bathroom for customers. They have a shared parking lot with an auto supply store. read more

8/6/25 Lox on a cinnamon raisin bagel was delish. The jalapeño cream cheese was spicy- perfect. Pancakes looked gorgeous, not sweet at all, if that's your preference. Prob skip those next time. Prices a bit high. Sabrina was behind the register, so cheery and friendly! read more

Highly recommend this place!! My kids love their muffins, especially their Vanilla chip and confetti muffins. I personally love their western omelette platter and my new favorite is their FRESHLY SQUEEZED OJ!!!! The Oreo bagel with Oreo cream cheese is delicious as well. I'm walk in there at 10:30 an on a Friday. I figured I would have a lot of bagels to choose from. They didn't have any egg bagels. They had one egg bagel left in the back somewhere so I asked for a plain then they give me a well done one the sesame bagel looks like someone sat on it when I got home.......they had no flavor. Been here now today is twice the bagels chicken salad egg breakfasts are delicious The egg everything everything pumpernickel plain bagel and sesame are soft and fresh. Soooo good. The store is clean and inviting The staff are very nice friendly and fast. Recommend this place - the food hits the spot. On the morning of July 3rd our purchase of $29.76 was declined on my $25 visa gift card. I paid cash and took the gift card and "declined" receipt back. I believe the cashier could've charged $25 to the gift card and requested cash for the balance but I was fine taking the card back. Before going to use the card again I checked the history of the card online and found that Pantanos doz processed the $25 the next day on July 4th at 10 pm leaving a zero balance on the gift card. As soon as I saw the charge was purchased I went to Pantanos (July 14 11:00am) and asked for a manager. I wanted to show the "declined" receipt and a screenshot of the processed $25 charge but there was no manager on site. I left my name number and photos and asked that a manager call me. When I didn't receive a call I stopped at Pantanos again (July 15 3:45pm) to find no manager on site agsin. I was told if I wanted to talk to a manager I have to go back for a 3rd time but make sure it's between 6-8am. Whoever did the books on July 4th stole the $25 probably thinking I wouldn't hold on to the "declined" receipt and for some reason management doesn't seem to care read more
